an inn sounded great to kellogg. the fox knew that in his recent events, travelling would be hard. difficult to pull off especially with so much exposure beyond the borders and good target due to his size. there could be downsides to it, like the little kids coming unattended but the advisor was sure something could be prevented from causing trouble. a neutral place for a ceasefire between enemies and just a general service for all. "overall it sounds pretty smart." the execution was all that was needed. he sat down next to marisol, flicking his tail over his paw. "if you want to go somewhere we could assign a supervisor to you, it's not that hard to do. promise." if anything he wouldn't mind offering himself up to escort the little ones back and forth. he wanted to get a sight of the place as well.

kellogg rather enjoyed visited from allies. it normally meant a food brawl was about to go down, or their little ambassadors were here to give them free stuff. and anything with 'free' in the mix sounded good to the fox. he had scented antoinette before arriving, catching it just as he was a mile or two out of camp. seeing it as an ally's he followed it with the sense of security that they wouldn't end up being a huge tiger hungry for his leg. upon seeing the westerosi, he offered a half-smile. "thank you for visiting, sure happy or whoever's the medic will like it all." he hadn't actually seen happy in quite some time, hopefully he hadn't bailed out on windclan. "how's the westeros doing? heard some shit went down with the cartel." it was faint gossip that was probably old news by now but it was just small talk really.

ever since lovi had joined she had been doing almost twice the work a regular member would have. actively visiting allies, checking up on them. seeing the holes where he and the others couldn't fill. she was proactive all in windclans best intentions. despite her fearsome appearance, she was sweet and gentle, a genuinely happy kid looking out for those she cared about. kellogg could trust her, and definitely trusted her when he heard about the visit to the district. she was right in saying they had never actually done anything as allies. even as long as he was here, the name never actually came up. "she's right, luke. i didn't even know the district was an ally until now." had they really been that neglectful to see? he would have to keep an eye out more.

the crack of the stone had sent kellogg jolting awake, gritting his teeth as shoulder went into several spasms of phantom pains. the fox groaned, pressing his skull into the side of the wall and forcing himself up on all three of his legs, and walked through the pain with deep, ragged breaths. he had to see what was going on. what was happening, and what was wrong. the advisor had stepped out of his chalet cautiously as windclanners appeared to gather in front of the woman to cause such a distraction. he had stayed by his home, letting the fading jolts of pain echo through his body as she spoke. end game was unheard of to the fox, and for a moment he didn't want to believe it. he wanted to believe windclan had to manpower to fight back and defy them. though when she swooped down and attacked luke, the advisor was frozen in place.

he felt useless here. while part of him knew it was out of his control, he felt utterly useless in this situation. he watched as she left them all to process the information, and he hobbled quickly to see them all gather by the windclan leader. "luke... what the fuck did you just do?" kellogg's voice didn't hold any bitterness or anger, but desperation and concern. did he just... really doom them all?

oh jeez, he forgot his manners for a second. he only realized he hadn't introduced himself as the other spoke her name, and felt partially embarrassed over it. he waited until she was done speaking, though, and let out a snort in response to her laugh. so the cartel were fading away? good, maybe they would stop getting pesky little shits at their border asking for jobs. "i'm kellogg, by the way. an advisor here. that sucks, though. barely put up a fight on their home terf?" he scoffed, glancing to the gift basket. has politely as he could, he dragged it closer to where bo stood. as far as he knew him and a few others were looking into the medicine cat role and could look through it to study and such.

"a disappointment, but at least you know they're no threat. one less fly to shoo at." he smiled a bit, sitting down once more. he was rather enjoying the conversation so far, though he hoped antionette did as well. it would be rather awkward keeping her longer than she would have liked. "we got a visit from some end game thing, and the bitch attacked luke, but he's doing fine from what i know." he paused, his former smile falling into a frown. "though now it's kinda strange. expecting something bigger at any moment, ya know? i think we're gonna make it, though." hopefully. "have you heard of them before at all? any information would be helpful."

they had made their message rather clear now. as kellogg was putting it all together and deciding how to interpret what might happen next. the advisor didn't blame luke for his decision, knowing he was doing what he thought was best for his clan. knowing that he had put his morals first and survival last. he had taken the bold, heroic move and kellogg refused to blame him for it. there had been too much going on, too much they didn't know or understand until after it had already been said and done. now all there was left to do was fix what was broken and move on. look ahead to prepare for whatever was about to come.

the advisor hobbled down a hillside with his clanmates in tow, and turned around to face them all with a cold expression. this was serious... he had to act though. he couldn't let his own issues get in the way anymore. "first question; do any of you know anything about how to evacuate?" he paused, pursing his lips before continuing. "an evacuation plan normally includes a route to escape any possible dangers that come toward us. in this case; end game. i want someone to search out any tunnel systems near camp that we can bring our young and sick to if it comes to that. someone able to defend themselves in case you get attacked." probably halo or lovi could up that opportunity, knowing they were fully capable of themselves.

"second, i want everyone here to always carry basic herbs on you at all times. is that clear? everyone. that means if you're three months old or five years old, you have to be prepared so we will have an even supply in case the time comes, and we can't pack everything in the medics den. bo- you're still working on holding that herb class, i want you to keep that up and make sure we all know at least something from there. take an apprentice if you need to, i could give less of a fuck right now because happycamper hasn't been around for any of this and thats a shitty healer. if he so much as shows up to protest ignore him; he doesn't deserve that position anymore as far as i'm concerned." the fox lashed his tail and looked over the rest, keeping his breathing even.

"third, i want someone to go look for allies that may have any information on the end game. how they attack, when they would do it, who their biggest targets are and how quickly we may need to act. i'd suggest going to hawkclan first as they've had a more recent interaction with them." now, onto the more evacuation part. "for now we'll travel with the buddy system. i'll settle over an emergency word with luke so you all will know to find your evac buddy when it's said, it's preferred that you go with someone you know well to avoid any discomfort."

that was a good start for now, he would wait for them to all process it and get to moving toward their buddies to continue

i'm sorry. it was all he could offer, but the fox felt the pain behind it. impending, dreading belief that he had just done something terrible. had he? was there really no other choice but to wait and hope for the best? he blinked at the lion before backing away a few steps to let bo do his work. the fellow foxes comment though did shake kellogg out of his little trance. right, they had to look for the future. for whatever was to happen next.

"i... i can hold evacuation classes." he didn't know how to fight with his recent injury, he couldn't demonstrate anything yet. he hadn't adapted like he thought he would have right away, but he had to do something. he mind flashed back to the little girl and her family, how he had led them from their home into a safer town miles away. had them change their names and all just to avoid some fiendish cult's wrath. "everyone who's isn't injured, follow me and give luke some space and... time to himself."

    evac class

featherboa and kellogg were completely different forces of nature. while bo was soft-spoken, and gentle; kellogg was eager to pick up a fight when he saw the chance and run with it. he was aggressive, his entire body spoke for itself in the trouble he got into. even as a same species there was so much to tell them apart by. two wildly different raised beings, two wildly different people. it still shocked the advisor how there weren't more minds like him but that was probably for a good reason. some part of kellogg felt bad for how he thought about bo, and while he felt the need to apologize for it, there was never a time the fox had ever voiced his thoughts toward the other male. still, he couldn't help the guilty feeling that overcame him each time he saw bo pass by or show up at his chalet with food.

he was a good windclanner. as far as he could tell. a good person and maybe it was just part of kellogg being jealous that the other could trust so easily and be nice to everyone without the constant need to feel bitter about something. kellogg's emotions had been bottled up for far too long and he always took it out on the weaker; which was inexcusable of course, but he couldn't find a way to direct it anywhere else. while the fox had been wondering not too far from camp, he had come across bo's scent, flowery and mixed with the herbs he always hung around, that feeling of guilt arrived again.

the advisor shuffled his paws over to the root of the tree next to the brightly colored accessory, and decided to wait for the other to be finished with whatever he was doing before speaking. he knew he wouldn't like being spooked when so focused on something, and doubted bo felt different on that.

there was nothing good that could come out of an 'adult only' party. there could be a multitude of things that could happen that kellogg probably wouldn't want to see. actually, he didn't want to see anyoneat this time except for his clanmates. he couldn't leave them at a time like this, not with so much stress going on and too much that could happen while he was away. too much stress was on him though, he needed a break. maybe one small selfish decision wouldn't go so terribly.

"thank you." he said, eventually recognizing jelloshots from when he went to the rogues. his eyes squinted slightly, but he said nothing.

kellogg didn't know anakin. never heard of him, never seen him. if the name was ever spoken he would have absolutely no reaction to it, yet it seemed to, unknowingly to the rest of them, hold a lot of meaning to their leader. kellogg didn't know much about luke save for the fact he was leader, and struggling with the responsibilities as one. then again no one really knew much about kellogg other than the fact he was an asshole with more bite than bark. even with just three legs, seeing anakin had the fox tense and ready to pounce. the guy looked entirely worse and an entirely different level than merlot, but he was far too freaked out and taken by surprise to actually think he might be friendly.

still, he didn't actually quite know how to fight still, so he took to standing several feet away with the deadliest glare he could conjure. "the fuck is your business here." he huffed, lashing his tail as he attempted to appear threatening.

good, good they were getting somewhere with this. as he assumed, bo took the opportunity to also go check up on allies. it was going well so far, smoothly and without any interruption. it should make for an easy escape for when or if the time came as well. he took a deep breath, regaining his track of thought as he tried to ignore the impending doom that some godlike divine beasts could come down and rain hell. for what, though? he wasn't all that sure of. "great, thank you." he looked to autopilot as he spoke out, and nodded his head quickly. "yeah, that sounds like a good idea. you can leave after this is over of course. i don't want any time wasted here." he cleared his throat, and cast a small glare in his deputy's direction. like so, it wasn't serious either, and it was nice that someone could make a joke in this situation.

"yes and i'm oh so sorry if it displeases you. pair with lovi if you want, she'd have a blast watching you try to keep up with her." he smirked, his tail flicking over his paw as he tried to address everyone. if anyone had any concerns or suggestions. he would need to wait for someone to speak up, though. "auto, i can be your buddy for the evacuation. if you'd like we could go over ways to communicate and find each other later." he wasn't too sure who else he would have as a companion either. he assumed no one would actually want to be his so he used his authority to appoint one.

"i'll set up a roster later of who is with who, and any other's that do need them. i'd suggest though that adults pick any kids that are under eight months. for example, luke could pair with zerrak. leopold could pair with lovi, halo with playkit. something like that." he wasn't all for forcefully assigning them, but giving the idea out there.

"any questions or suggestions? if not i will keep everyone updated about any sudden changes or, after halo completes her task, how we will continue with a route to escape."

it was still whirling in kellogg's mind, the chaos that had erupted in this entire month. it wasn't all bad, but it had been... a lot. much more activity in kellogg's life than he had been used to. the fox was always used to keeping to himself even in the face of customers. he got the job done and that was it, returned with proof and got paid with whatever he needed at that moment. food, shelter, a certain currency the town held so he could purchase something. sometimes medical attention. it was nothing compared to the life windclan had thrown him into. originally looking for a place to lay low without having to do much, had become into a bigger picture. he got attached to people. he... felt different things that he always tried to deny and push away.

then this entire week of his new world flipping over onto itself. the loss of his leg, the threat of his new home coming to a disaster. still, kellogg desperately pulled through for his own sake, and the others. the marble fox stepped outside the leaders chalet, hesitantly. he didn't know if luke wanted any visitors right now, but wanted to make sure. or at least just check up on him.

"luke? i was wondering if we could talk...?" he stomach was tying in knots but he forced it to not effect him. he couldn't let his anxious feelings get in the way, he had to speak professionally.

    luke skywalker.

all three suggesstions were greatly appreciated. kellogg's mind was still a bit occupied with stress and panic, he was glad to have his clanmates help him out. "samuel's correct we need... we need allies." he remembered the westeros, bliizardclan, and sunclan the most. they were most often visiting, they probably had enough territory and supplies to house them. hough el and sam had only suggested two of the three, he nodded his head in agreement. "sam, you can go to sunclan and ask if they are capable of preparing themselves for emergency housing. el, you can go to blizzardclan. should both of them accept the decision will be up to luke; as he's the one to make the last call." even though it got them into this mess, but he wouldn't say that aloud.

he looked to zerrak and took a deep breath. "that's why we're having the buddy system made, and why i suggested adults pair with the kids. our main goal is to find a place of safety, not have a group of warriors go on a suicide mission fend off attackers with divine powers. it's not in our interest at this moment."

kellogg hobbled toward the party, feeling a bit more confident in himself now. he wouldn't be swimming this time, but he would be definitely partaking in the treats set up by bo. his mouth watered at the smell of a cooked steak, and he found himself drawn to it like a moth to a light. he had been muzzle-deep into it when he heard glasshalos arrive, and then his focus turned the jerseyboy. he remembered him, definitely. though last time they saw each other kellogg had all his legs; so much... changed between that amount of time. still, kellogg bravely faced the blizzardclanner and came next to glasshalos with a smirk, licking his now-bloodied maw.

"jeez halo, how long you gonna keep leading the poor guy on?" his whiskers twitch in amusement, his yellow gaze turning to the other. "she's engaged to some prince from a remote island, if she didn't tell you. i'm sure that was another one of her magic spells though, too." he was completely bullshitting the both of them, but acting as halo's own personal, friendly antagonist was his specialty.
