oh!!! okay cdc's are AWESOME id love for that to happen here. BC is also holding a monthly challenge to make a oneshot based on the seven sins, maybe we could do something similar?
& deer if you feel a bit overwhelmed i could help take a few of that stuff off your hands ^^

the proposition wasn't all that great, personally. w currency that kellogg didn't even know and not even stating what specialties he had? he really was new to the game. part of kellogg felt inclined to feel sorry for him and possibly give him some tips, but he had to shake himmself out of it. this guy was not someone the fox wanted to be associated with. with zerrak's words of support it only furthered his decision. he wanted mars gone.

luke's statement had kellogg realzing he shouldn't even be here. the cartel, cartets... shit. "turn tail and haul ass, kid." he growled, lashing his tail bitterly. "and work on your pitch next time. you sound bland and unoriginal." his tone was dismissive, though cold. he would have to keep an eye out for any other cartellians looking to try and come here

kellogg had to gather himself a before after the meeting. it wasn't all that often he had one-on-one conversations with his employers. even though luke hadn't hired kellogg, and the fox had officially joined and all, the mercenary was still in the habit of thinking of the lion as that. he had to work on what he wanted to say and get the point across, and when he had, he arrived to where luke had retreated to after the meeting. "uh.. luke?" he peered in, and once seeing him had decided to walk in. something had been strapped to his side, covered by his jacket.

"i just wanted to make a few suggestions that might help in the long run. but first..." he turned his head and unlatched the strap hanging around his chest with his teeth and offered it to the leader. "that harness i told you i'd make, for your... thing." he had forgotten it was called a lightsaber, but the details of how to fit it were more important to him. "its adjustable, and also flexible leather so it shouldn't get caught on anything."

onto the next thing he wanted to address. "i was gonna offer holding up that battle strategy class, but i wanted to ask if we were ever going to retaliate onto the exiles? though nothing ever came of that and i wanted to be sure like... this wasn't all overwhelming you."

there was only so much a leader could handle at once and personally kellogg was beginning to worry for the young leaders health. "with that, i just wanted to suggest that maybe a vice-leader would do good for windclan. i did some digging around and it turns out that vice leaders are kinda beneficial and lets one leader pick up where another can't. but uh, like i said its just a suggestion." he shifted his weight onto another leg, looking up at the lion confidently.

kellogg had been coming to the realization that activity wasn't at its best in windclan as well. of course, the fox had been doing all that he could. trying to keep tabs on everyone and actually contributing now that he was an advisor; it was still all so new to him. kellogg was used to being a pawn for so long that actually growing into a position that held some amount of power was a new concept to him. it was all partially fitting into his vow to better himself, though. thats why when he had arrived to lovi's call he didn't turn tail and go back to his cabin. instead he sat across from the hybrid, ready to act as an advisor. "did you need somethin'?" that was a good start.

in hindsight, learning about the use of herbs and remedies would help the advisor. after all he had originally shown up in windclan with a nasty infection because he though ignoring the wound would make it go away. then there was the a time before then where kellogg had got the scratch that had scarred over his eye, and he had almost lost his eye with it because he had stupidly refused medical aid for two weeks. eventually the pain had made him pass out and he had no choice but to get the medical help he needed.

the fox was stubborn, to say the least. still, he arrived to featherboa's little gathering and sat down with a frown, waiting with an impatient flick of his tail.

kellogg didn't quite see it being a good idea to leave the new girl with joiners alone. unattended with other windclanners to keep her from seeing them as a food. he didn't know lovi all that well yet, and part of him was still anxious being around her. she was much larger than him, than luke, and obviously much more powerful. it was no secret that even as skilled and experienced he was in combat, nothing could possibly compare to fighting the hybrid beside him. he only hoped the hellhound wouldn't scare off the potential joiners. "name's kellogg, i'm an advisor here." she had already addressed the question offering help, so the fox remained quiet for now.

there was no point in denying her access. at least the poor sap under her claws wasn't a windclanner, and that was enough for kellogg to say he didn't completely fear her or feel like she would turn on them. another part of him wanted to say that she had just been lucky her attack had been on a loner, though. "welcome to windclan, sunshine." his rough voice broke through the momentary silence and he shook off the feeling of being nervous. she was part of them now, so they all had to act like it whether they liked it or not.

"you can call me kellogg. i'm an advisor here, so i'm open to helping you adjust if you need it at all." he gestured to each windclanner as he listed them off. "thats luke, he's the leader. glasshalos is our deputy. eloise co-advises with me. the uh... sparkly one is featherboa, and those two are leo and zerrak. any questions?"

suvi and her siblings had been a surprise to windclan when they came to them. they were scared and aggressive, confused and didn't understand anything. though they had been making process when they appeared. the older two brothers appeared to be advancing more when learning english, suvi was coming up a bit behind them. he had heard her from the porch of his cabin, sunbathing while he could. her disruptive shouts had woken him up and his ears twitched upward in her direction before he opened his eyes. a soft groan left the old fox as he slowly rose to his paws. "what are you going on about?" he grumbled, more so to himself than anyone else. he stepped down from his porch and approached the pup with a quizzical look. "where's conri?" he spoke slowly, hoping she would understand. hopefully her older brother could translate for them.

yeah that definitely fits!! and id be more than willing to help if it works w your characters development *high fives*

merlots rper can make the thread in the exiles bringing kellogg over and i'll just make something in windclan saying hes captured bc im always p sucky finding muse to rp the complete process of how my chars get captured lmao

"no, no you have to use your upper body strength, kid." kellogg frowned as he watched the kitten fail to complete the task set for him. the fox had more or less taken it upon himself to train a backbone into playkit. he ran away from home and had a shitty dad, what more could he relate to? it hadn't really been a thought out decision either, really more of an impulsive and irrational one. kellogg didn't want playkit to become weak because of a lack of parental figure. apart of him wanted the kit to have the same growing experience he had, but it would be quite impossible to imitate all of his childhood issues, so being hard on him would have to be enough.

the fox came in front of the others and brushed leopold away. "he's fine, don't bother coddling him." he huffed in frustration. "try again, playkit. this time try listening to what i say, and you won't fall."

it didn't surprise kellogg that leo would take interest in flowers and plants, a rather weak interest perceived by the fox. there were too little medics he had seen that actually had any ferocity in them at all. they might as well be declawed and have their fangs pulled out if they refused to actually defend their territory as well. "what are you up to?" it was obvious, but kellogg wanted to be sure he had actual herbs in front of him and not possibly poisons. the quiet ones always had poisons...

there was almost nothing the fox could do to handle an attack alone on the tiger. he was caught unprepared and unmanned. not even holding his holstered straight razor to even give him the slightest chance of escape. two animals had met and their instincts collided and nature had decided who had won. all that was left of kellogg's presence was his now bloodstained cap and and the scent of the exiles to follow.

// a rescue can happen here after one of the exiles takes off a leg!

the journey between windclan and the exiles had been a series of blackouts and vivid flashbacks to what had happened there. it had all happened too fast, losing himself to instincts. losing himself to the urge of fighting back and not seeing he was obviously overpowered by the young tiger. the old stubborn fox was facing the consequences of going into a battle he couldn't come out of. the fact he was still alive had the fox confused, several thoughts floating in and out. his head hurt and his shoulder hurt. it was a wonder the agonizing dull pain hadn't killed him already. he wished it had, as his blurred vision caught sight of a structure up ahead. a building of some sort though he didn't know what exactly.

a weak grunt left the foxes maw as he was dropped, the spark of pain echoing through his side and teeth dug into his tongue. the paw to his neck had just enough pressure to make breathing a bit more difficult than it already had been. "oh goody." he choked out, tail lashing uncontrollably. his jacket felt uncomfortable now as the fabric was twisted around his chest. "no offence but i'm not really looking to meet anyone's parents as a fake boyfriend." his maw pulled up in a grin, wheezing a weak laugh. he really didn't know when to shut up.

he remembered fadingmoon from last time the she-cat had visited, he had taken his very prized straight razor from her basket. of course it no longer looked the same it had then, as he since modified it to be a bit more lethal, but it still set a special place in kellogg's mind to be nice to her. "fadingmoon." he greeted politely, a bit warmer from the neutral tone he had first spoken to her with last time. he stepped forward and sat beside playkit, nudging him slightly. "is blizzardclan alright? haven't heard anything about you guys in a while." truthfully ever since jerseyboy's visit he heard very little in any streams of gossip or small talk. maybe thats because they kept out of trouble, though

"shouldn't you two be in bed or something?" the fox grumbled under his breath as he tiredly dragged his paws over the rocky outlook. his arthritis had been burning up on his back legs and he was more than eager to rest with his paws hanging over the edge of the cliff, his head lowered till his chin was against the stone. originally he had come up to curiously see what loviatar had been up to, but then his attention had been taken to the sky after following her gaze. kellogg wasn't much of a sap for beautiful scenery or picture perfect moments like this, but it felt... good. being able to relax and watch the sky in peaceful silence.
