Zinnia(currently) of Thunderclan
Ha, sweet! Did you have any plots already in mind? I personally haven't checked out any prompts from that website yet, or considered any of my own, but I will if you don't have any.
aside from ur cat finding lionpaw sleeping in one of his many unusual hiding spots i can't think of any. what about urs?
I think that's a good place to start! We can have them get to know each other, since I don't have any other plots atm. But I know I will once we get this story going. Would you like to make the thread?
Cool. Thank you <3
miss zinnia, if you need suggestions, here are some for you: berrypaw, dawnpaw, tawnypaw, kestrelpaw, heatherpaw, featherpaw, lilypaw
Hey, I like all of those a lot! Lilypaw sticks out to me for some reason, though. I think I'll go with that. Thanks Peach <3

Before the meeting started, Zinnia had been eagerly and nervously waiting for the inevitable. This was her first meeting. During such, she would be getting her 'ceremony.' That sounded exciting! It was still hard to believe that she'd gotten to this point from the shy kittypet she was before -who frightened at the idea of going outside- but here she was now. That wasn't the only reason the apprentice-to-be was feeling tense, though. It seemed like there had been so much happening within the Clan lately, so much to be addressed, she could just sense the variety of emotions building up to this point from all the other cats. It would be interesting to see how the meeting went, simply put.
Thus, at last, the leader called them all together. Zinnia raised her attention to the Leader after sitting down amongst the group of Clanners.
"Rubyheart!" She cheered for the new warrior that was announced at the beginning, joining in the brief celebration. When she got called upon, the molly responded obediently and stepped forward. As she was given her name, a surprisingly happy feeling spread through her body, causing a grateful purr to erupt from her almost instantly. She dipped her head to the leader before stepping back, still unable to wipe the glee from her features. I'm Lilypaw now.... And this is my family. Of course I'll do my best! She thought, whiskers arched up as she continued to listen to the rest of the meeting.
It went on for quite some time, the leader expressing information that mostly went over Lilypaw's head, but confirmed her suspicions. The apprentice did her best to understand and keep listening anyways. But with her focus half unable to grasp everything that was being said, Lily started to notice what seemed to be exhaustion affecting Foreststar. Was she okay? Were leaders always this worn? She could only assume and hope for the best...

The Tabby-Siamese mix trotted forward, hesitantly at first, as she heard the unfamiliar she-cat's call. Sparring? Would Thunderclan even let her try out such an activity, with little to no training or experience under her claws? Well, only one way to find out. At least she could probably watch the other Clanners do their thing. It was also intimidating approaching the one who the invitation originated from.. Cougar, was it? By the looks of the she-cat, Lily figured she would want to watch and learn from this one - if she couldn't join the sparring session herself.
Lilypaw dipped her head as she trotted closer, blue-gray eyes shifting upwards to connect with Cougar's. She spoke with more awe hinted in her voice than fear or any kind of distrust, blissfully unaware of the past surrounding the older she-cat. "Hii.. can I join or watch the session?" Her stripped tail flicked upwards behind her in a hopeful way as she radiated a soft purr.

Lilypaw purred in response to the she-cat welcoming her to join, following it with a knowing nod. "Thanks. Ahuh, shouldn't take too long for others to show up." She tossed her gaze towards the clearing as well, as her hind legs folded down so she could sit and wait alongside Cougar. She liked the rather elegant tone of speech that came from the older molly. It sounded pleasing, at least to the former kittypet, which was a fact that most didn't even know about Lilypaw - yet. She was a tree flower, shying away from the center of attention, most of the time. But there were times like this, when she knew if she didn't push herself forward she would never improve or get comfortable to this new home.
She rolled her striped tail over the tops of her paws and settled down, attention sweeping over to Cougar when the woman's voice reached towards her again. Cougar. So it was the she-cat who's name had stuck to Lily's memory sometime and place from the past. Her ears perked forward as she responded, a warm hue in her blue eyes. "I'm Zin- Ah, Lilypaw, I mean." She smoothly recovered from almost introducing herself with her old name. "It's nice to meet you, Cougar."

Just like she had hoped, another person did appear. Although Lilypaw didn't recognize this she-cat by name, she gave her eyes welcoming contact as the molly approached. The apprentice's credulous heart having her believe, of course, that this meant the warrior wanted to accept Cougar's invitation and join the upcoming sparring practice. All seemed fine and well, at first.
"Hello!" The apprentice responded simply to Willow's greeting, both inwardly impressed that she knew her name, and guilty that she didn't know the warrior's in return. Well, that'd be no big problem, right? There'd be plenty of time to chat and get to know her while they waited for more cats to show up. Just then, when Lily opened her maw to speak again, nothing came out. Because Willow had already spoken, swinging her attention onto Cougar with a slightly hostile comment that managed to throw the apprentice off in clear confusion.
"Uh.." What had just happened? Cougar wasn't allowed to make these calls? Perhaps that had been what Foreststar had been talking about at the last meeting, just when Lily had started to mentally drift off. Oh, catnip. Lily shifted her ears to the back of her head, inwardly frowning at the prospect of what seemed to be trouble she had found herself in. Willow wasn't directly upset at her, but she couldn't feel completely un-responsible either. This might have been something she could have prevented. But what in... 'StarClan's name'... did Willow mean about ripping them to shreds? Baffled and concerned, the paw's blue eyes could only Ping-Pong between the two as they exchanged sharp word for word.
It was a shock to her ears, hearing 'If I wanted to kill everyone here, I would have done it long ago' from Cougar. Lily didn't know that anyone had even been suspicious of the she-cat. Looking at Cougar now, it was plain obvious that she could do damage though. But what would she want to for? Oh... Wait, Cougar was a guest. What or where had she come from before this, Lily had no idea, but others did. Pushing the pieces of the puzzle together was a slow process, but she began to understand that Willow probably felt the way she did because of something she knew about Cougar that hadn't met Lily's ears before.

To tell the truth, Lilypaw was starting to look more disappointed than anything else when WillowRain mentioned the trouble with Cougar having a sparring session. It seemed harmless enough -despite the real fight that almost broke out- the apprentice couldn't quite understand why there was apparently a rule against this. The molly's ears stood straight up on top of her head when a new meow sounded, surprisingly close to the former kittypet's side. Lily jolted a little. Catnip, she had been so wound up by the older warrior's banter that she didn't even notice another apprentice wander over to sit beside her. That right there showed just how much Lily needed some training. Badly.
The young tom's nonchalant words caught the 'paw' so off guard, she couldn't help but snort in amusement. She felt her muscles loosen up as a result. It wasn't what he was saying to Willowrain, obviously the warrior deserved respect, but the apprentice's surprisingly calm demeanor. It was refreshing, when put next to Lily's formerly nervous spirit. It was just nice having a family for once, she reflected, one with similar aged peers, who could sway the way she felt during matters, mostly for the better. She never had that before.
Breaking out of her sentimental thoughts, Lily straightened up her shoulders and cocked her head. Oh kibbles, the session was going to continue! Her tail started to wag over zealously behind her as she focused her gaze on Cougar and another warrior, who were already going at it. During which, a feline who seemed to be another apprentice, creeped forward to join the 'queue.' Lily gave the apprentice an unabashed purr of greeting, before she joined Lightning and Hay in focusing on the fight. Eyes scanning and sucking in every detail like a dry sponge in water.
Same here! Sounds good as long as APPLEGAZE. is up for it?
Cool! I think they're going to make a really good (and interesting) match lol
If you'd like there to be, then I would too.
Okie dokie! Thanks!

The apprentice arrived just in time to see the three in positions that made it obvious they were up to something. Whatever it was, it seemed fun, or funny, by the looks of Lightningpaw's amused features. Padding over to the group, but politely staying out of their field of play, Lilypaw perked her dark striped ears. "Hey. What'cha guys doing?" She purred, finding the scene of a few warriors playing with an apprentice quite sweet, not to mention interesting. Just then, the apprentice noticed the mossball by Applegaze. The former kittypet obviously had no idea that it was a part of one of the Clan's games.

"Hi Applegaze! Here I am!" The tabby point bounded forward in a flash of rather chubby striped legs and paws. Lilypaw had been waiting oh-so-excitedly for this moment to come and now, almost out of no where, here it was! In all her anticipated delight, she hoped that she hadn't kept the male waiting for too long. Secondly, she hoped that she looked somewhat presentable to her new mentor. The apprentice had been grooming her fur extra diligently ever since she started living with the clan. It was a daunting task, considering how fast her fur got dirty out here compared to back in her twoleg's house. Who would have thought? What she didn't realize was that the warrior probably would not be too concerned with her appearance. She would eventually adjust to the ways of living in a clan, but it was a work in progress for now. Lily took notice of the fluffy yellow flowers upon approaching the tom, but didn't question them -Not yet, at least. For all she knew, which was basically zilch, it could be some part of the training process. The apprentice inwardly shrugged at the puzzle, and purred deeply to greet the tom as she padded to a stop about a tails length away from him. The sight of the Warrior's Den behind Applegaze put her in slight awe, rekindling her enthusiasm. This was it, her apprenticeship with a real warrior had just begun!

"Me too." Lilypaw purred back at the tom's comment, although unaware that he probably wouldn't hear it. She was equally as happy to have made the lesson. Yet her eyes stuck to her mentor in concern as he brought up the ominous sounding words, 'before we start...' Who knew what he was about to say? Obviously not her. The concern swirling in her sky blue orbs turned to confusion as she listened closely. Applegaze, for as brief as she knew him, never seemed any different from other warriors -except for his more youthful spirit, of course. Still, even if there was something 'less capable' about him, she couldn't imagine passing him off for another warrior. No way! Especially not for such a petty reason! It might even break her heart more than it broke his. She could tell he had her best interests at heart, which was extremely sweet. For that fact alone, Lily didn't want to leave his side. "I don't think that will be a problem, or ever happen, Applegaze. But thanks for looking out for me!" The apprentice's tail waved happily. "I can't wait to train with you."

Lily reflected shining happiness right back at her mentor and purred amusedly to herself as he tried to share the feeling even more through a brief shoulder nuzzle. The more time the 'paw' spent with him, the more she realized just how bright, bubbly, and infectiously sweet the warrior was. Even if he didn't know how to make it, well... free of a bit of awkwardness, the sincere meaning behind his actions always shined through. That's what was important. The apprentice nodded her head assumingly after his promise, already confident that he would be perfect. "Neither will I!" She announced. Why had she felt so attached to the warrior before they even began to train, or gotten to know each other? That was tricky, but then, hey. They weren't complete opposites. She was nothing special. In fact, she wasn't even clan born. She had nothing, whereas Applegaze had a lot more knowledge than he gave credit for. Basically though, both were afraid of being underwhelming. Of being unable to fully serve, or as well as others might. Maybe that would make them a pretty good team? Only time would tell.
After hearing out his plans, Lily sounded back in agreement and wiggled her paw pads against the earth, very ready to get started. That was when Applegaze began to move. Lily pounced after the warrior and soon matched with his pace, walking aimlessly along at his side. As they padded outside of the camp, a strange feeling washed over the young she-cat. Outside. She had lived with ThunderClan for a rather short time, yet it already felt like home. To walk outside refreshed the memories of when she had wandered off from her old two leg house, to face her fear of the outdoors. Lilypaw sucked in a deep but silent breath and strained her ears towards the sound of Apple's voice, which then returned, providing a temporary distraction.
She inwardly smiled his own interests as she walked over a few branches and leaves blanketing the forest floor. To be honest, she didn't really know what 'warrior things' were either. But she assumed, whatever it was, Applegaze was a little more laid back in his free time. "Nature walks sound nice! I would have tried that, or just exploring, but other cats said I should stay only around camp." She replied to him, musing her thoughts. "So instead, I tend to nap with Teddy," Her beloved two leg toy, a stuffed bear, who she had forgotten to mention thus far "or visit the elders and listen to their stories while I groom them or fluff their moss."
