"Hey you."
The canine's greeting is light as she strides over, having been walking along the border. A lot of her time has been spent working, which caused her to eventually cave and leave the chalet for some fresh air. There are a lot of improvements that need to be made, so her head sort of hurts, but at least she's not bored anymore. However, she's not exactly professional, which has proven to be an obstacle. But she'll get through this. With that determination in mind, she brings her focus to Jerseyboy, rather pleased to see him on the border. She'd never admit it, but she misses him from time to time, especially when she doesn't get a chance to make her way over to BlizzardClan.
Violet gaze intent upon him, she smiles a bit. "What are you doing here?" Halo's rather close, the reason for that being obvious within moments. She picks up a paw, attempting to gently jab him in the side. "And hey, how long have you been seeing that... Imperia girl?" Halo strongly doubts Jers is the type to cheat, but she had been absolutely surprised to be met with that relationship. They hadn't really gotten a chance to talk about it, either, so of course she brings it up now. She's not sure what she expected.

It's been a week. It's been a week, and what has she accomplished? Not enough. It was never going to be enough. She supposes she had this coming, having accepted the responsibility without a second thought. She's only fourteen months old, and while there have been younger leaders, is she really ready? With a loud sigh, the canine sits on her rock. "Meeting time!"
She hasn't come to a final decision about the ranks, which is frustrating, but she brushes that off for the time being. Glasshalos swears she'll keep them updated. "First, I'd like to welcome the newer faces to WindClan. There's Soap, Suriel, Natasha, and Cole. Make sure to be friendly, everyone." The introduction is made smoothly. Despite the fact she seems to be rather distant, she has still been keeping an eye out, and has made note of any newcomers. "Moving on. Zerrak, you're demoted. You had a warning last week, and I think a warning prior to that. Featherboa, I'd like you to step up to the Advisor position. I've been looking for a deputy and I'm currently between two people. I'll tell you all as soon as that decision has been made." She doesn't want to make the wrong decision there — was she the right one? There's a brief moment in which the wolf acknowledges the fact that they don't have any Guardians now, but that's due to the lack of activity. Hopefully it'll pick up and the positions will get more filled.
"We're dropping StormClan and RiverClan from allies to neutrals. Neither of them have been around lately, and I don't want to have a bunch of allies who aren't doing anything for us. I need one or two volunteers to go inform them of this. Keep me updated if there are any problems, too." After all, not everyone's capable of taking politics lightly. She has a few examples on her mind, but she won't go in depth. "And we're now allied with ThunderClan, which... They've invited us to a mass meet and greet, located here. I think it'd be a good idea to go, get ourselves out there." There's a pause as she leans back a bit, taking a deep breath, having been talking quite quickly. "If anyone has anything they'd like to discuss - or if Kellogg or Lovi would like to add anything - feel free." Unlike with "normal" meetings, Halo has decided that she's going to take it upon herself to leave things up for discussion, that way everyone can get their thoughts and opinions in. With a larger Clan, she'd be less likely to do this, but all things considering...
ooc sorry for disappearing, everyone! to put it simply, school has been kicking my ass :/ i'm hoping to get into the swing of things soon, but for the time being, remember that advisors (and medic) can accept invitations and such. also, if you guys have anything you'd like to talk about, i'm more likely to see it crim so feel free to contact me on that account :^) sorry this is kind of rushed, but i'm exhausted and just didn't want to miss a meeting. i'll update the guide tomorrow. also, if someone could get this meeting stickied and the previous week's one unstickied, that would be a HUGE help!

ooc MMMM OKAY SO! it's been a month and i'm back - not sure for how long but i have some free time and!! i need an outlet so hello. i'm here. i'm crim, for anybody who doesn't know :')
ic Breathe. Take a step. Wait.
The lupine stumbles, inhaling sharply, the scent overwhelming and suffocating, causing her legs to become wobbly beneath her. Violet eyes are wide, fixated on a point in front of her. If the distinct aroma hadn't already, the territory certainly gave it away. It being where she ended up, of course. The enchanted woodland, despite some place she knows how to navigate, proves to be difficult with this sudden flood of feeling. She's tripping over roots, slipping on moss covered rock, catching herself only because of her quick reflexes. Eventually, she stops moving, too unsteady to continue on. She stands there, shaky, gaze sliding over the area in search for anyone she might be able to talk to.
She's dehydrated, tired, but carries no external injuries. However, both of those things are enough to stop the wolf, causing her to lean up against a tree, lost somewhere within the woodland, mostly because of how out of it she happens to be. With her tail wagging gently behind her, she calls out. "Hello? I - uh, I want to join. Return, sort of." She sounds unsure of what she's saying. "I'm Glasshalos. Halo."
There's a brief thought, but it makes her head hurt. What about WindClan?
Her leadership had been brief, ending in a failure, but she should have seen that coming. She hadn't been ready to step up to that position, and her personality clashed greatly with what needed to be done. She didn't really care much about foreign relations, and the whole idea of politics made her head hurt. Perhaps it's best that this is how things turned out. Understandably, she's just embarrassed, and had she shown up there, would have had her head down in defeat. She doesn't enjoy thinking of how she messed up, but it happened. There's no going back on her decisions. Some choices - ones that hadn't involved WindClan leadership - she wouldn't have taken back, however. Ones like choosing to go to BlizzardClan instead, even if it had been a subconscious decision at first.
With a heavy sigh, tired eyes become a little more alert, if only because she's looking for some familiarity in faces. It hasn't been that long. Someone still has to be here who would remember her, even if just vaguely, considering her constant disappearing acts. There has to be someone.

She comes back, having seemingly disappeared off the face of Earth, to this. The wolf's violet gaze is intent upon the Cartellian, and for a few moments, she looks unimpressed, as if this enemy is really as much of a nuisance as the others believe. However, relationships with other groups don't mean much to her, and so the expression fades into something else. She's grinning a bit, sliding up by Jerseyboy and Chesspieces. Chester's just an appreciated familiar face during this time, but Jers? Is he going to get mad at her for coming out of nowhere like this? She had been following him, actually, but the light brown canine had done her best to move stealthily. Not too sure how that worked out.
Halo glances towards the deputy, trying to be casual there too, before her attention moves back towards Jackie. "That tree root won't be too comfy when you wake up." She's not going to say anything about how Jackie should leave - her Clanmates have made that as clear as possible - so instead she peers towards the other wolf, unsure of whether or not to make a move. It doesn't matter much to her, unless of course, this one suddenly becomes a threat. However, she feels as if she has to do something, for everybody else's sake.

"Uh —" The light brown wolf shuffles her paws around, peering down at the ice through violet eyes. She's not clumsy. In fact, Halo prides herself on her grace. However, when she takes a few steps forward onto the frozen lake, she finds herself sliding around helplessly. Sharp claws click against the surface as she moves, her front paws suddenly sliding out from underneath her, causing her to go crashing forward. With a huff, she stays where she is, low against the ground. Having just recently returned after her disappearing act, she wasn't expecting things to go so wrong so fast. However, here she is. Karma, perhaps.
Admittedly, she's just glad Jerseyboy isn't here. He cannot see her in this mess, no matter what. The lupine doesn't bother to delve into the fact that he could appear at any given moment, and she instead decides to focus on the situation at hand. Her light purple gaze moves over the trio present, a rather sheepish smile appearing on her face. "I could... use a sled, if someone doesn't mind."
It's embarrassing to be in this situation. She's not the type who's supposed to get stuck out on the ice, relying on others for help. Halo understands that it's not really a big deal, but... this clumsiness, it doesn't fit her. It's too messy. And she is not messy.

i’d love one for halo :’)

The light brown lupine peers towards Candy through soft lilac eyes, a thoughtful expression on her face as she moves closer to the group.
"My name is Candy." "That's an interesting name." It's a quick reaction, as if she hadn't thought a moment before speaking — and maybe she hadn't. Her tail waves behind her at a slow pace as she briefly turns her attention elsewhere, not too interested in the foreign affairs side of this interaction. The new ShadowClan ambassador? She supposes she should get to know the female standing at their border if she's going to be checking in often, but a part of her can't be bothered. This is why her leadership back in WindClan had been so brief — along with the fact that she hadn't been old enough, in her opinion. Politics were not her interest, and so she had ultimately been unable to handle the pressure. Looking back on the experience, she hates herself for giving up so soon, but there's little she can do now. Therefore, she tries to brush the unpleasant memory off, instead turning her focus back to Candy. "But, I guess the same could be said for me. I'm Glasshalos. Feel free to call me Halo." Simply because Halo is easier.
With a light sigh, she ends up taking a seat, despite the fact she's unlikely to stick around for long. "It's lovely to meet you, and just as Fadingmoon said," she pauses, inhaling sharply, "I'm glad to hear that ShadowClan is... thriving." In reality, she couldn't care less, but she has to at least somewhat keep up appearances. After all, she would come across as rude otherwise, and she's not, even if she can be occasionally blunt.

The alcohol on her breath has her wrinkling her nose, briefly looking towards Jerseyboy — he doesn't smell much better, but she's not here to attack him for his life choices — before glancing back to Champagnedreams. For a moment, the wolf stands there silently, wondering whether or not she's in the mood to say anything at all. Eventually she caves, but it takes a little while, considering the cutting remarks that sit on the tip of her tongue. God, there's so much criticism she could give, but she keeps herself together, just offering a forced smile in greeting. "... Welcome to BlizzardClan, then. I'm Halo. Halo Delacroix, if we're giving last names." Glasshalos, technically, but she decides against giving her full name. It's not very important as of now, as far as she's concerned, and it's a mouthful, so she keeps it to herself. "The others already seem to have the whole 'do you need anything' ... thing covered, so I guess I'll be seeing you around, unless..." She steps back, but pauses. "You do need anything important."

”Wow, Jers. Really attractive. What a catch.” Like usual, she’s teasing him. He doesn’t even get a break in his current state. There’s the faintest look of amusement as the lupine walks over, pausing in her tracks — is it contagious? Will she get sick? Halo stands there for a moment, violet eyes fixated on him as she tries to decide whether approaching is worth it. For a moment, her attention moves towards Lierre, and the girl takes a deep breath. The amused expression fades in the slightest. She doesn’t know what to do, but after a few seconds, she begins her trek forward once more, tail wagging lightly. ”It’s nice of you to offer to carry the mouse for him,” she comments in a genuine tone, although in her opinion, he’ll be fine without the help. However, Halo has decided to be nice to the unfamiliar female. ”We haven’t met. I’m Glasshalos, also known as Halo. Sorry that we have to meet now of all times, considering the impending doom, but it’s a pleasure either way.” More jokes.

She’s been thinking about him.
The fact that he’s so ill, of course — why else? She’s actually been out and about, enjoying the fresh air, only to come to the disappointing realization that Jerseyboy must be locked away in his hut, suffering. It took her a while, but she eventually ended up there, the urge to check up on him far too strong to brush off. After all, his habits aren’t the best for his current condition, or in general, but she’s never said anything because she doesn’t want to bother him. It seems too serious to bring up the drinking and smoking, considering all she normally does is tease. But these habits aren’t the only issue. Being sick, in itself, is absolutely horrible. He shouldn’t have to be on his own, and so she’s risking her own health for him. Sharply inhaling, the light brown wolf pushes in. It’s not long before she’s taking a literal leap, hopping up onto the edge of his bed, more than likely disturbing him. ”Jers.”
Soft lilac eyes are intent upon the tuxedo tom as she lays down in her spot, briefly interested in the Yankees blanket before moving on. ”This is gross.” It’s a simple comment, and she jokingly wrinkles her nose, a grin blooming across her face within moments. ”You’re lucky I’m here. I don’t think anyone wants to be anywhere near your sick ass right now. In fact, if I get sick,” she pauses, glancing up towards the ceiling, thinking about it, ”I don’t know. But I won’t be happy about it.” It’s only after she’s done speaking that she realizes she barged in out of nowhere, and she lowers her head a bit, ears flattening back against her head. ”And uh, sorry for like... breaking in, I guess.” I care too much. She keeps that part to herself, of course, instead deciding to offer him a reassuring smile. He’ll get better, but how soon? Hopefully she doesn’t have to deal with his disgusting self for long — anyone who’s sick is automatically dubbed disgusting. Nothing personal.
”Do you need anything?” But the whole I actually care about your wellbeing? Personal.

"Fuck," she echoes quietly, a smug smirk on her face within moments. The canine's violet gaze is intent upon his face, as if she's looking for something. If anything, she's searching for some sort of reaction to give her clarity on the situation. After all, Halo paid close attention to his response when she returned — he hadn't been too happy. That's understandable, of course, but there's a part of her that's disappointed and trying desperately to get back to how things were. However, she's not the type to come out and admit that, but she will put in the effort. With her head resting on his bed, she peers towards him, listening carefully.
"You think? No offense, but you kind of look like shit." She's about to say something else when the tuxedo mentions the weather, and she scoffs, giving a quick roll of her eyes. As if. "If it's just the weather, I'd hate to see what you're like when you're really sick." Admittedly, she's just going along with it, not wanting his ego to take a blow or anything like that. But as far as she's concerned, the weather cannot possibly hit this hard. She doesn't say anything about the fact that he wouldn't have opened the door. Of course not, which is why she broke in. Broke in being an overstatement, considering the door had been unlocked in the first place. Whatever.
When he speaks up, seeming to ask whether or not she'll really do anything, she lifts her head a bit, interest caught just like that. "I mean, sure," is the comment to slip from her lips, attention intense upon him as she tries to think of what he could possibly want her to do that could be any worse than currently risking her health like this.

"And are either of you gentlemen planning on donating?"
The blonde steps up beside the duo, deep red lips framing a bright, but sharp, smile. She's glancing towards them, out of the corner of caramel eyes, waving the bartender over. "Your best bourbon... please." Bourbon always seemed to be more of a men's drink, but she breaks such a stereotype without blinking. In fact, she doesn't seem to be fazed at all, despite her current surroundings. She simply takes a few moments to survey the area before she's turning back on the balls of her feet, facing the two, resting an elbow easily on the counter top.
Hailey Delacroix. She's not too involved in the family business, but they deal heavily with money, and so she is able to reap the benefits. She's also a business woman, persuasive and composed, carrying out the few tasks she's given with ease. Of course, she has experienced the world of men, and most tend to underestimate her. It's a good thing that she enjoys a challenge. Fixing her flashy, velvet dress, Hailey allows her soft brown gaze to move between Tommy and Aleksei, both faces familiar enough from her careful observance, but neither having ever been formally introduced. However, she decides against saying her name for the time being, instead raising a brow and waiting to see what they do.

Being a pack animal herself, it doesn't take long for Halo to come to the realization that these two are currently trying to assert dominance.
It's instinct for her to challenge them, especially considering the fact that they're trespassing. However, the soft lilac gaze of the wolf is fixated on the sharp, hooked talons that could kill her within seconds. She stands there, unmoving, a couple feet behind Pierce and Koralina, having stopped in her tracks as soon as she laid eyes on the threat. "I'm not too sure they're friendly," Glasshalos pipes up, taking a deep breath. There's the slightest urge to make a joke in an attempt to clear the air, but it becomes obvious to her that now is not the time to be kidding around. Therefore, she takes a step back, literally. She's not going to leave — while she might not have been back for long, she understands that she can't just leave Pierce and Koralina here to fend for themselves. Having been a leader, even just for a brief period of time, she still holds that vague protectiveness.
Her ego is about to take a huge hit, but for the sake of attempting to keep the others safe, she tucks her tail in between her legs, lowering herself slightly — not enough so that she looks as if she's about to attack, but enough so that she's not perceived as someone challenging them for dominance. The lupine peers up towards them, the neutral expression on her face shattering momentarily as one of irritation appears. She is not having a fun time right now, and if she weren't afraid of her innards being ripped out in one swoop, she would have lunged.

Raising a brow at his statement, she shakes her head, but she's unable to keep herself from smiling as he smoothed his fur. Is he entirely sure he's heterosexual? Every now and then she has her doubts, but she's only ever heard of him bringing girls home. "Wait." The word slips from her lips as she narrows her eyes in the slightest, looking over the blankets in an almost accusatory way. "You probably caught whatever it is from some chick you picked up and now I'm going to get infected cause I'm on the bed." She sounds completely serious, briefly pawing at the sheets with a look of distaste, but it's highly unlikely that's the case, which she knows.
Halo lifts her gaze upon hearing his request, lightly scoffing. If it weren't for that devilish smirk, she might have taken him seriously, but the circumstances are far too suspicious. "I'm not doing that." The statement is stubborn, and it's obvious that she's not going to budge. "There is literally nothing you could do or say to ever make me even consider, Jers." She would prefer to keep her dignity — whatever sliver happens to be left.

Suddenly, one of them lunged.
The wolf wasted no time in standing back up, stumbling backwards, a whine escaping her lips. She's a fighter, sure, but she knows when she can't win a fight, and so she tightly shuts her eyes, ready for the blow. A few moments pass, and she listens carefully to the numerous sounds that the raptors are making, carefully opening one violet eye and then the other. One went after another, and the shocked expression on her face is apparent. If it weren't for Blue getting in the way as she went for Delta, Halo would most definitely be dead — or close — right now. Therefore, she supposes she should be thankful, but she's far more anxious about what's going to happen next. Considering how out of nowhere that gesture had been, this could easily turn back on her within seconds. Halo still, stubbornly, tries not to give off any negative feelings, such as fear or anger, afraid of how those emotions will be taken. The expression on her face goes back to being neutral, and she tries to stand still, keeping her composure. On the inside? She's terrified. After all, what even are these things? They're far different than any creature she's ever seen, and they seem like top tier predators at their finest.
Halo might be tough, unflinching in the face of most danger and being entirely unfazed when seeing people strung up and ripped apart, but this is different. This is something she's never experienced, and never thought she would.

Everyone's involved aside from Jerseyboy and Fadingmoon. Jers, who "could use a smoke" — what's new — and Fadingmoon, who seems to be enjoying herself either way. The lupine decides that she'll leave the latter alone, but she's close enough to the former to pester him about his lack of involvement. However, she's not too obvious. Instead, she comes from behind the two, taking careful steps in an attempt to be near silent.
Halo's violet gaze is fixated on the tuxedo tom who's there, completely vulnerable, as she lowers herself to the ground, tail wagging behind her in a very enthusiastic way. It occurs to her that she could probably accidentally trample him if she were to put too much force into this movement, and so she's light on her feet when she moves, lunging towards the deputy in an attempt to cause him to go tumbling forward along with her. If successful, they're likely to both get at least partially covered in snow, but that's the whole point.
