She still only stared, with a confused look on her face

"Not gonna happen!" she challenged and sat farther down the river, waiting for a fish to swim into sight

She gave a slight smile, showing that she was friendly.

"What? Already?" She looked dismayed. When a fish swam into sight, she flashed her paw in, but missed. "Mouse-dung! I missed"

Rippleflight looked at him, her voice soft. "Something wrong?" she asked, coking her head to one side in wonder

Mintflame touched noses with her new apprentice and purred.

Mintflame thought for a minute before replying. "Well, what about learning some of the common and most needed herbs?"

She led her to her den. "Well, probably the two most used are cobwebs and poppy seeds. Now, cobwebs are used to soak up or stop bleeding. Poppy seeds are used to make someone sleep when in pain or to soothe pain"

"You just kind of scoop them up. It's not that hard to collect them," she explained

Mintflame thought for a moment, wondering what else she should start out with. "Well, if you want, we are kind of low on catmint, so we could go collect some,"

"Its very leafy and it smalls wonderful! You can't miss it," she explained

"Near twoleg place. For some reason, they always grow it," she meowed

She led her apprentice out of the den and out of camp, near the twoleg place. "Tell me if you think you know where some is,"

She followed with a smile, knowing she was on the right track.

Mintflame purred as she padded next to her. "Well done! That should be enough for now".

"Lets head back. I think that's all we needed, "and with that, she leaped on the fence and over it, padding back to camp.
