Personality: Adventurous and ambitious, he likes to be admired. He likes to pretend he's smart, though he isn't terribly advanced mentally. He is rather good at manipulating others, however. Always up to bang, not terribly good at keeping up a relationship though.

History:(opt) Born and raised in the clan, but he always liked to dream of life outside. He tried to go it alone once and lasted about a month before returning out of loneliness. Whenever he's asked, he'll say he is preparing to go out on his own soon, though he's been saying that for a while now and no one really believes him at this point.

Kin: Feel free to add yourself as kin. An uncle to Deckard as he was Deckard 1's younger brother.

History:(opt) Raised as a kittypet and separated from his siblings rather quickly. Decided to try and track down his siblings, and a year later finally found the clan Gale joined. Now that his mission is complete he isn't really sure what to do besides try to get to know his sister and eat.

Shadow, who had been fishing in the shallows with Weasley, hissed at the loud splash. 'You're scaring all the fish!" he shouted, making his way to his niece. "Oh well, I was getting bored anyway." he told her as he got closer.

"But I'm still hungryyyy!" Weasley whined, glaring at them and plopping down in the water.

Vile (Vialiki) was also enjoying the sun one the deck and smirked as his daughter fell. "Heh, nice one Blu" he said, getting up and walking over.

Pixie had been napping in a tree that overhangs the river, but jolted awake at the sound of the splash below, falling sideways and barely catching herself with her claws. When she saw who it was that had fallen in, however, she let go and tried her best to hit the water gracefully. She landed in the deeper water, and quickly swam to the surface. "Woops!" she exclaimed, giggling. "You startled me." she calls, swimming closer to her crush.

"Oh, I'm fine." Pixie mumbled, a bit embarrassed by the attention. Even though she liked being looked after, she was still a bit shy. "I actually rather enjoy swimming. It's just so nice to feel so light and weightless." she said, doing a little twirl and circling Deckard. "But you obviously hate it, so let's go."

Shadow nodded, already heading for the shore. "The sun's nice and strong today, so it'll be easy to dry off."

"No trouble here," Ginkokit reported to his parents. He'd been exploring whatever he could in the area his parents allowed him to wander around, but there wasn't much. Eventually he got bored and went looking for his sister. "Wanna play?" He asked Yewkit, batting at her tail gently.

(I kinda wanna make another cat but I'm not sure if I should. Or maybe two. I dunno.)

RP Thread: Avatar: On the Brink of War Roleplay

This roleplay will be set in the world of Avatar: the Last Airbender and around the time of the show, though probably a bit earlier in the show up to a few months or weeks before Aang was unthawed. The main area will be a medium-small island and a few of the nearby islands (think something similar to the Hawaiian islands), though there can be role play in other areas. We'll figure it out as we go along, I suppose. I might try to make a map of the islands, but for now I just have a vague idea of where they are.

The Big Deal

After all these years of peace, it seems war is stirring in the rest of the world. The Fire Nation has been setting up outposts and scouting, and have found our islands. They started with a military base and have been building their colony up. At first we agreed to help them somewhat as long as we were left in peace, but the governor of the fire colony has been making demands and rather threatening moves. Very few people know this, and the council seems to be keeping it secret for the time being while they decide what to do, but time is passing. For now life continues as normal, but who knows how long until that ends.

The Basic rules are don't be a jerk, please don't power play/make overpowered characters, no you can't be the avatar (Aang is still alive, he's just frozen), and please limit yourself to 5 benders or less since spots are limited, but other than that feel free to be as creative as you want with your character. You don't have to play an islander necessarily, and you don't have to stay on the islands, but it may be harder for you to RP. No matter what role you are, please keep in mind the cultures, histories, and other factors behind you character. Also, stop stressing about a password. I just wanted to be sure you read this. If you have any questions, please ask.

Ginkokit-Male-1 Moon

Ginko batted at his sister's ear in retaliation and proceeded to circle her, poking Yewkit and backing away quickly each time. He kind of wanted to wrestle, but was too scared to ask.

Weasley sighed, giving up on fishing and collected the few small ones he and Shadow had managed to catch, bringing them up to the prey pile. Seeing Jasper's fish, he dropped his and exclaimed "Wow! Where'd you get such a big one? I thought they were all hiding today."

Shadow soon came up behind him, still a bit wet. "Oh wow. That is pretty big. I assume he did the smart thing and didn't try fishing where all the fish know they shouldn't go with all the cats wandering around." he said, sticking his tongue out at the orange cat.

Pixie had made it to shore and was making a bit of a show of drying off, possibly on purpose for Deckard's benefit, though there was no outright proof.

MMM THEY'RRE SO CUTE! It's official that once again I am surrounded by great artists. Everyone's accepted who hasn't been (Cheng's done enough I've seen his pic and have a general idea of personality from Brink).

I can definitely see Maipe and Chuntao looking up to Zhen at least somewhat...

And Peizhi probably arm wrestles the boys in her family over who gets to go to the jeweler and see Arihi for a new piece (they probably make pretty fancy commissions for wealthy people who can afford to pay for imported materials and want jewels).

I'd be up for any relatives or couples, feel free to ask. Oh, and Fallen's warriors are accepted. Maipe would totally hang out with him and Grampa Koko might even go fishing with him and give him tips.

The two toms listened carefully, obviously impressed. "You use your tail? Also, you had a human?" Shadow asked.

"My humans never let me go anywhere. Yours seems a lot cooler if he took you fishing."

Pixie rolled her eyes and smirked, splashing a bit of water still on her tail in Jasper's direction before prancing off to the beach.

Appearance: She's got quite a bit of muscle, and has a prosthetic arm and leg on her right side (thank goodness she was left handed)

Personality: works hard, determined, puts on a tough act, loving towards most people, very open, likes to feel like she's in control, rather butch, hates to feel like a burden, not very confident, usually tries to find a peaceful and rational way to settle things, hates the concept of revenge, rather tolerant and forgiving

History: Born and raised in the mines, forges, and farms many of her family members work at, she grew up tough easily. She worked many jobs throughout her life to help support her family, as many of her relatives end up doing, but about a year ago she was caught in a mine collapse and was crushed. Thanks to the healers she survived but her right arm and leg had to be amputated and the costs for her prosthetic limbs and medical treatments sunk her family even further into poverty. She had to give up her jobs until she could comfortably move around and is only just going back to work in the mines after finding a way to use at least some bending techniques.

SKills/hobbies: Enjoyed earth bending, though finds it difficult. In her spare time she can often be found practicing or hanging out with friends.

Role: Upper class, doesn't really have a job but likes to think that loaning out her books makes her a librarian. Has plenty of bending scrolls and books that she has imported.

Personality: Tends to be rather aloof and cool, book smart but not necessarily clever, a bit shy, prefers writing letters to actual conversation, very spiritual, dislikes conflict, always gentle, speaks very softly, can be a bit rude without realizing it, overly apologetic once you point out something she's done wrong, a bit anxious, tends to plaster a smile on whenever someone interacts with her and just nod along so it can be hard to tell if she's really listening, often has her head in the clouds, a huge dork

History: Born to an upper class family that makes their money in selling imported goods at high prices, she isn't necessarily well-liked. She grew up rather isolated with a brother a few years older than her who took care of her and spoiled her quite a bit. She soon found that giving away gifts she didn't much care for could earn her companions and turned to a system of buying friends. When the fire nation began setting up their colony, her parents bought a house there and her brother left to look for more opportunities around the world. Once was old enough was allowed to move back and forth between their houses as she pleases. She spends most of her time in her house in Lokahi. A few years ago she decided to open her personal library up to the public as long as the books were returned, and this has somewhat increased public opinion of her, though she tends to get rather angry when her books are damaged or not returned and has gained a reputation as a sleeping dragon.

SKills/hobbies: Enjoys reading, discovering new manuscripts, learning, stalking Midori Kayo, having intelligent conversations, admiring Midori Kayo from a safe distance, enjoying home cooked meals, praying to her Midori Kayo shrine, collecting books, watching the ocean... You know, the usual stuff for a dork. (She grew up next to Midori and admires her as an idol and the elder sister/friend she always wished for)

Other: Her mother is a fire nation merchant and her father was an entrepreneur who left the islands to sell exotic foods and returned with overpriced goods and a new bride.

"I'd love to come along!" Weasley said, perking up at the chance to spend time with his sister. He still didn't know her all that well and it would be great to bond on a trip.

Shadow shrugged as his name was called. "I suppose I could clear my plans... Depends on what we're going to do." he purred, sauntering over to the group.

Pixie huffed, having finally gotten most of the water off. "Do I really have a choice if the absolutely DASHING First Mate himself asks me?" she asks, plenty of sarcasm laced in her words.

Yeah my family and I are really big fans of Harry Potter so we named our cat Weasley (instead of the more obvious Garfield), and then I made a character based off of him because I was a bit lazy.
