  • LIFE THROUGH DISTORTED EYES :: private

    Bentley was still interested in war and didn't see a problem with getting his white paws speckled with crimson from time to time. His height definitely posed a problem with that, and he had no powers to compensate for it, but he didn't care all too much. His family—birth family, at that—had taught him to use size to his advantage, and he learned much about crucial tactics on the battlefield. After he left them, he decided to take to medicine and healing. A more nonviolent path just seemed suiting, even if he could be quite the daring fighter.


    His ears twitched when he heard a feminine tone say his name, and he turned to face the leader. "Indeed," he barked with a wide smile. "Ah...Blazestar, yes? Good to meet you." His tail was wagging, but since it was a mere bob instead of an actual tail it seemed as if he was wagging...something else, to keep it brief.

  • SMOKE ON THE WATER :: open, joining

    A Clan - thank goodness. Not a gang of rogues that were willing to roast him on their nearby spit. "My name's Bentley. Bentley Harbringer." A medic, hmm? That was even more relieving. He felt quite comfortable around those who were also practicing medicine. He also saw another feline next to Moonbeam and dipped his head a bit before returning to the inquisitive she-cat.


    "H-Herbs, yes. They're mine, for my travels." The corgi didn't like the thought of offering his pouch to them in exchange for some shelter or simply letting him go, but it was worth a shot - he'd find more anyway. "Feel free to t-take them if you'd like," he stammered, gently pushing the tiny bag towards the female cat. "I'd just like a bit of shelter, perhaps, if you've room to spare for another being." He took note of her observations on his nicks but didn't address them, for he could tend to them himself with the assistance of some kind of mirror or a mere puddle. Of course, that was unnecessarily ardous.

  • SMOKE ON THE WATER :: open, joining

    A wide grin appeared on his nicked muzzle when the bag was handed back to him. So they'd spare his herbs - great! He was more content with the fact that he'd easily take him in for just about nothing at all. "Oh, thank you!" He didn't have bandages that were small enough for his nicks, so he'd let her do her thing. And he'd happily keep his mouth shut for once.


    This was a good place for a fresh start, really. Bentley found the hospitable people more than enough to convince him to call this Clan home for now.

  • PUT IN YOUR WAR PAINT ~ Rejoining

    The Pembroke Welsh Corgi wasn't out looking for herbs, rather out for a simple walk. And he sure wasn't expecting someone like a mercenary—though he didn't know that, of course—to declare that he was rejoining on the borders. Could he say yes? There was an auto-accept policy established here, correct? Otherwise he wouldn't even be here; he'd still be a little nomad with a pouch of herbs that could easily be flattened by a much larger creature.


    "Ah...welcome back to StormClan, Ryan! My name is Bentley, pleasure to meet you." There were flowers growing at the blood-red fox's paws seemingly on the spot, which was quite unusual.

  • PUT IN YOUR WAR PAINT ~ Rejoining

    "Talk of a move, but that's all I know of," Bentley replied. "I'm not exactly an ancient Clanmate." He had only recently joined StormClan, so he had absolutely no idea what was going on except for a relocation to some new territory. That was it. He just hoped that the members would help him fill in the blanks. If not, he'd just fill them in himself.

  • Fanfiction - meeting

    A "super cute" corgi? Really? Bentley was fine with compliments, but things that labeled him as "cute" or "fluffy" or "adorable" seemed a little insulting to him. He was a StormClanner, not a plush. Nonetheless he pushed such thoughts away—bitterness wasn't good right now—and he let the rest of the announcements sink in. So he was a historian already, and he'd earned the title of leafling. That was quite exciting, but he maintained his cool now and dipped his head in acknowledgement. His brown gaze traveled to Moonbeam. Would they really be working together? He wasn't opposed to a partner, but he preferred to work individually.

  • Dear Theodosia (P, Bentley)

    Ben was sure he was mentally sound, but physically he was not so sure. At the moment, he didn't have any physical quirks or issues, but corgis were notorious for developing hip dysplasia and the like. He had to be careful and alert the medics of such problems. "No, but due to my breed I am prone to hip dysplasia and intervertebral disc disease." Other than that, he was clean.

  • DREAM ON [ bentley ]

    Bentley was very protective of his little bundle of herbs. Accidents always happened, and he had to be careful. The only time he'd be willing to lend his herbs was usually to a StormClanner, but otherwise they were strictly off-limits. The fluffy little corgi was fuming when he saw that his precious remedies were being broken into.


    "You there! Stop!" the historian barked, an irritated scowl upon his muzzle. This was a younger person he was dealing with, so he didn't want to escalate to any physical harm—as other corgis, he was prone to nipping—but that didn't make him any less bitter about the harmless situation.
