Another day was going by and she found herself stuck in her disgusting cell again. After that battle she was almost ravenous and being cooped up again brought out the worst in her. She had spent hours trying to chew through the bars of the rusted cell. Feeling the iron tang of that very rust coating her tongue mixing with the taste of blood from her torn gums. She had probably lossened one of her teeth in the process. Regardless she had stopped after a while, panting gently as she grumbled to herself about her situation. Though after a moment the meeting came back into her mind and she frowned a bit. The idea of it all was tricky yet there was an allure to it. Only because of what she had experienced back at her so called home. Here there was power and there was might. There was fear. But she couldn't say the same for the Exiles. Each day there she saw more and more of the weakening within the ranks. They cared more about their enemies than their own. It was sickening. Huffing softly the woman would get up and move to the bars, avoiding the decay and rot of other bodies of forgotten prisoners.
With her ears perked she could sense that someone was coming, hear them. And they didn't sound happy. Honestly she was happy as perhaps she would be able to get some form of entertainment besides bleeding. Licking her jaws to remove her baby blue colored blood she would swallow and move a bit closer.

Early morning came and she had been dragged out of her cell to do some menial labor. That labor being to wash and clean up some area that apparently no one else seemed to have the time to do. The woman didn't say anything and didn't complain simply because she already knew what she was doing to do. Fetch a pail of water they said and so she had actually went to their disgusting Blood Nile and filled the bucket up with that viscous fluid instead. A hum was in her throat as she walked back, hearing the chains rustle and clang on her wings to prevent her from flying off. A mischievous grin played on her maw as she went back to the area and was supposed to be cleaning and with little care she threw the thick red liquid all over the area. It dripped and sluggishly ran down the walls and glopped against the floor in thick pools. And it was a mess. A large and rather not so pleasant mess for whoever's room it was. Chuckling she crept out of the space and pushed the bucket away from her with a huff. "Think twice before trying to order me to do their cleaning." She was sure that someone would be pissed but she didn't care. It was their problem now and she settled in the sand malignant eyes narrowed.
-
Her eyes narrowed slightly as she heard the words from some Ruiner who had little meaning to her. Tail sweeping against the sand she would turn her head away as she laid down and dropped her skull on her paw. Her eyes closed and she allowed a snort to leave her throat. "Sure, whatever." Her voice was expressionless and void of anything as she yawned softly and proceeded to remain silent. If they wanted to keep her around then they would have to deal with how she behaved and the fact that she did as she wanted and as she pleased. With a sudden casual flick of an ear she listened to the next one that came up, taking about putting her in her place and telling her to clean up the mess she had made. A proper beating he spoke of and did he honestly expect her to sit here and take such a thing. The cackle that left her muzzle was a low rumble as she slowly sat up, ice cold eyes focused on the runt that had spoke. "That was some funny joke there kid. Thanks for giving me a laugh now buzz off and go bother someone else."
-
Moving forward with a rustle of chains the woman walked, head still held high despite the fact that she did have minor wounds of her own from that battle. She was mildly annoyed she had even bothered fighting for them. But then again such a sudden choice would probably he thrown and trampled into the dust and forgotten just because she was an Exiler. With a light huff she moved again, this time with a jolt as the guard pulled her forward harshly. She snarled lightly and snapped her jaws at him before turning her head back to the so called...physicians that they had. And look, it was the all mighty king himself. She didn't know if he was looking to help heal or not but she was here to get looked at after basically running through flames to try and help. Making a face and sighing with a mild amount of frustration, she turned to look at whoever it was that was supposed to be looking at them. "I have burns from helping you worms. I'd appreciate something in return for it, hon. They aren't too bad but I'm going to kill the Kingdomer that did it." Sitting down there she would shake herself, feeling the thick metal around her neck before she finally stilled.
-
There was strong amusement in her eyes seeing who it was that had come to the prison. The King in all of his foolish glory here to pay the darkest pits a visit. Most likely to try and sink his teeth and claws into someone who couldn't fight back. She had the same thoughts and she would have if she could have gotten to any one of them but now he was here. Alone. Seeing him again was not a fluke. Of course after all he had directly spoken to her during the meeting, albeit in a passing way and had even offered a spot here among his mongrels. Glittering ice colored orbs narrowed a bit and she allowed a snort to leave her jaws before shaking her head. "You think I'm afraid of a little fire? But seriously we have got to stop meeting like this, darling." Amusement played on her tongue before she rolled her eyes. She had recently jumped through flames to save what she considered to be worthless. But regardless she allowed her tongue to loll out of her muzzle for a moment as she narrowed her gaze. Perhaps he was upset about everything and she could understand why.
After all when people start fucking those that were enemies then who could one trust. "Sorry to hear about how everyone is having amazing fun with your enemies. It must be terrible honestly. To be honest who knows who else is slipping under your radar." A soft chuckle left her throat as she shook her head. She wondered if her own grandmother was a traitor to her home. Anyone was a suspect to her but it also wasn't her issue. It was the false King's and he had to deal with making sure that people fell in line or had their blood spilled upon the ground. They would either listen or they would die for their treason as it should be with a leader. If they wanted to get kids involved that was their own damn fault.
-
The woman had been listening to the conversation from her own cell, listening to the guy speak to the guard and well she was impressed that he managed to get out at all. Even more so the that the mastiff was dumb enough to open the cell and try to kill him. Now he was nothing but a failure in the eyes of his own clanmates. Sad. Pressing up against the bars the woman listened to the conversation, thick tail flicking back and forth as she shifted so she could see better out of her cell. The group was all gathered around and they were talking about a search party. Tough luck finding him. He was such a long way away from here by now and they were just too late to try and stop him now. "You probably won't find him. Might as well give up while you are ahead." She spoke lazily from her own cell as the other went to fetch the so called King. Shaking her head a bit she would watch with a light yawn leaving her throat as he possibly came forth to deal with the situation. Her horns tapped against the bars and she chuckled before sitting down to see what might happen to the foolish guard.

It had been days since the cream and chocolate hued maned wolf was seen around the Exiles. Her scent having been slowly growing stale as the days progressed. Some would think she had been gone to bother their enemies but she had never been gone this long. An ominous feeling grew into the air as hours advance and she had not shown up. The Exiles have a lot of enemies that was for sure and it appeared as if one of them had taken the woman away from her home.
-
Ugh, this place was decrepit but she felt more reinvigoration here than in the Exiles. They were not scared, they did not try and hold some dumb moral high ground and she enjoyed this face to a startling degree. They didn't care about the pitiful lives of their enemies and she found it should be that way. Her mind trailed to the King and his power. The malice he held for those who were traitors within his own realm. That was what she wanted, she wanted that power. She wanted to have the ability to bring anyone to their knees and if they didn't bow they would break for it. She would tear them to pieces before their very families. Frowning she sighed but her ears twitched when a commotion began. One that made her left her head up to try and hear it better. What was that? Pushing herself to stand the maned wolf would lick her jaws slowly and narrow her ice cold eyes in concentration. Forcing herself to still and that was when she realized it. It was him. It was her love. It was her friend with which she held everything for. Her body reacted without her thinking and she slammed herself against the bars. Shuddering them and yet they did not give. Throwing herself against the bars one more time and then another. "Eze!" He was alone out there and potentially fighting a host of other Ruiners and though she knew that he could very well defend himself and take out a lot of them he was not invincible.
"They can't kill him. I won't let them." Her voice was a hard tremble before she forced herself to calm down and she closed her eyes. The cell grew quiet as she centered herself before suddenly she just fell over. Her soul flew from the confines of the cage and she knew he was close, he was within range and as soon as she saw his body she entered into the Utahraptor but not to take control of him. No, she only wanted to speak with him and find comfort in his presence. "Eze, you've got to get out of here. You have to stop and pull back, hon. I'm alright. I'm okay. They just have me locked up and are too much of wimps to actually torture me. I'll get home. I promise." Why did she feel like she was partially lying. The Exiles she had come to hate but she would return. She would be leaving here soon. Through Eze's eyes she saw him. Elian. But she did not take full control, only trying to wake the utahraptor up from his feral state.
-
As much as she hated to think about it or even acknowledge it she supposed what she had done had been almost instinctual. But this was no family of her's. She had been stricken out before she had even been able to get in and now she laid in her cell, complaining to herself about the whole ordeal and the raid itself. Such irony. Sighing with a frown on her muzzle the woman turned to face the pale features of the other, ears pulled back at the thud of the rabbit against the ground. A thank you was given and she narrowed her ice colored orbs just a but more. She wanted to thank her for what she had done, but yet her heart was still broken. She hadn't done it for her she had done it for herself. "Don't mention it. Seriously." She spat the words out as she rolled over and stood up, nose sniffing the side as she looked back down to the rabbit that was on the ground. A part of her understood why Evangeline was here but she couldn't get over what she had said to her. Family. It had always hurt her like that and this was no exception. "I hope you didn't expect a warmer greeting after you brushed me off and then let them capture me." If she could she would snap her jaws on the other woman and she moved closer to the bars with her hackles slightly raised.
-
Who would have thought it. She hadn't and yet here she stood with her eyes half narrowed against tears that had threatened to fall as she had watched them tear into him. She told him to stop, to go back and get more help. But he was ruthless and for her. Was she really worth that to him? To sacrifice everything to get her out of this hellish place that spat at her treated her like she was scum. The name of the Exiles was a tarnished thing and they hadn't even tried to come get her. No, she knew. They had swept her under the rug because she was volatile, she was against them and their disgusting cowardly practices. Where others were silent she roared the loudest and they were happy to be rid of her. Pointless, everything she had done to be seen as a great member of the Exiles had been pointless. Shoved in her face time and time again. Killing those Cartel members, enslaving, tortures interrupted. She breathed harshly as those tears she had fought back slipped down from her muzzle to drip against gilded scales. "I'm so sorry Eze, I'm so so sorry. Why couldn't you just have left me...."
Now he was here and he was hurt and it was all his fault. But they had been damned by the very place that should have been home for them and she pressed her had against his large leg, attempting to pull herself together. She was not a fallen princess. She was a demented queen hellbent on her revenge, hellbent on her chains to be broken and she would have this. There was no other way and she would not allow for the utahraptor to be hurt anymore. She would protect him just as much as he would protect her and her eyes snapped up as she began a savage barking that filled up the pit of the prison. "Elian! Elian get over here now!" Her voice was filled seething hatred, pain grasped in her chest but she would use this as she looked back to Eze then, brushing her muzzle underneath his jaw.

Wounds did heal but not her pain and not her regret. To see him being attacked like that with no one to help him was enough for her. Was enough for her to understand that she had picked the wrong group. That the Exiles were nothing like the stories had told her. They were pitiful and true to the word of scum. She hated them with everything she had now and it was all because they had betrayed her and they had betrayed him. Her head leaned against Eze's muzzle as he spoke. Regretting that he had not saved her from her capture. He should have saved himself and now look where he was because of her. No, she wouldn't allow for them to stick their disgusting claws in him as she gently brushed her tail against his arm. "I'm doing what is best for us. Or at least what I hope is best for us. They let you come here alone. They let you knowing you could run into danger trying to find me. The Exiles don't give a damn about us and now we don't give a damn about them. They are our enemy now." Her telepathic voice fluttered into his mind even as she lifted a paw to gently rub at her tear stained face. It was time to take back her life and this choice would do just that. Or at least let her be the beast she always knew she was.
-
"Good. Happy I pulled you away from your precious meal." She began with a snap her jaws and she stood up away from the utahraptor. She still wished she should sink her teeth into the wolf's face but she guessed that that would be for another time. Right now she need to be rid of this stupid prisoner that they saw her as and she needed it now. Her claws dug against the ground and she glanced to Eze for a moment. He would heal and he would he okay and he would be with her. He was the only one she had in this unforgiving world that had betrayed her time and time again and she had to keep him safe. Flicking her tail back and forth she turned back to look at Elian again before breathing out roughly. "You are going to make me and Eze members of the Ruins. And we are going to kill and torment your enemies." The Exiles namely but if she had to go through others to get to them then she wouldn't be deterred from the thought. Anyone was fair game to her and she knew that they probably had more than enough to satisfy her. "The Exiles are pointless. I already knew that living with them but they made it even more apparent when they did this to me. To us. They are pathetic. I'm willing to give my loyalty here and not tear you apart when you least expect it."
-
So Vel here after joining up with the Ruins because of her capture and what happened with Eze and her dislike for how weak she thinks the Exiles are will be making a trip back here to retrieve her manticore body. Her maned wolf form will be at a distance as she possesses the form and in doing so someone can discover her leaving, though they will probably not know of her betrayal to the Exiles and she will capture them and take them back to the Ruins to be possibly tortured if that is what you want! : )
-
"Too bad. Not my problem. Besides you look like the type to always have trust issues, especially with your own." She didn't care if he trusted Eze or not. He would be dumb anyway to trust a large reptilian creature who was just as ruthless as he was. Her pale colored eyes looked over to the man then and she sighed softly at his question. She was sorry that it had to come to this but she doubted they had many options. And she would be damned they rotted in cells like this. The woman vowed she would be there for Eze just as he had been there for her when she needed it. Taking a deep breath in she would then look to the King, though she wouldn't be quick to call him her King. No, he was just some pauper to her and she shrugged her shoulders a bit. "Now let us out and we can find out own way. One of your new members needs medical attention." She spoke with a low growl as she pressed lightly against the utahraptor, taking a deep breath in. "This is the better option right now. Eze. We will thrive here unlike the Exiles."
-
"Oh look. It is the traitor and his kids." The woman spoke nonchalantly as she came upon the scene. Yes, she knew all about that from picking through the memories of one of the Ruiners that had escaped her grasp and was here now. After all that it had amounted to nothing but at least she could torment Elian with the whole idea that he had traitors all around him. That was a fun idea and something she could easily use to her advantage. Now that she was considered one of their first tiers she had full reign of the place and she was going to use that ti her advantage. As soon as she scoped everything out first. Yet happening upon this scene made her muzzle curl just a bit. Pray tell she could also be a traitor yet her former home had abandoned her to the wolves and she had no where else to turn. She guessed it was better to be with the family that didn't want get than with one that would let her die. The new frown that marred her face and one of emotional turmoil yet she easily allowed it to drift away seamlessly into that of a smile as she looked toward the Cartel leader. Pleasant he would leave his children here with her around. "Did you enjoy the gifts that I left you not too long ago? I made sure to wrap the box as pretty as possible." Of course she was partially sure that he would understand what she meant. After all a gift of two heads was hard to forget.
-
"Absolve you of your sins. You don't have any to begin with to absolve." She didn't see anything that was sin worthy in front of her. Frankly she didn't care either. The prisoner had been too weak unlike herself who fought tooth and claw everyday and made everyone else's life a nightmare in comparison. They died as they should have in her eyes and if she had still been a prisoner she might have went for his throat. She had killed one like that before and eaten part of the corpse but it wasn't as if they would know that. Not like they kept a track record on how many prisoners they had or which ones died. Her thick tail swayed back and forth as her horned skull tipped up just a bit. Life was this way for a reason and she figured that it would always be this way. It was thrilling to be exact and her baby blue tongue slide across hidden sharp teeth as her ice orbs looked upon the body. As more voices spoke up she angled her head to the side before chuckling to herself about the whole situation. They were talking about that draft Red God business. Offee it to Him and other rubbish. They could offer it to him or they could give her the body and she could have a meal. "I can take the body if you don't want to pointlessly give it away. A meal is a meal."
-
Eggs. She had never taken that much of an interest in those before. Eggs were just that, eggs. They were food for when she needed a quick meal and that was all so she never saw them as anything else. Now as she approached the group with a frown on her muzzle and her eyes narrowed slightly she was listening to them talk about if there was something in them or not. Did that actually matter? Her tail swayed back and forth and she made sure to keep her distance from that of the supposed King and his entourage. Disdainful ice cold eyes looked upon the scene and flicked over to the eggs before she sat down and tilted her head slightly. "So is anyone going to ask what kind of eggs those are? Or is it just me that is wondering?" Her voice was biting but low as the cream and soft chocolate woman shifted herself to get a better view of them. She hoped they were not super crazy as a lot of things could hatch from eggs and again she wondered if she could have one to eat. She was rather hungry but then again that was almost something her and Eze shared in common but she was used to relying on his hunting

It was weird to be back here again. In the same place she loathed so much. Not much had changed about it save for where. Earth had been different but the landscapes almost seemed the same. She remembered telling her father how much she hated him, how she hated the both of them and for selfish reasons only she could understand. She had left and vowed never to return here and then he had died. After having other children he spent more time with than herself. And she hated him for that too. The woman walked along the desert sands, eyes focused on the land in front of her as the heat rose up. The air wavered in front of her and she watched the images form from her own mind. Memories that she wished she could erase perhaps even change. The image of the mischievous blond and orange colored maned wolf, his power unmatched by most. That cocky smile on his face. How he looked when he was on his deathbed she didn't know but she could imagine it. She had long since stopped walking and was just watching. A smaller version of herself cast in a deep dark shadow of two rulers who she could never reach.
Her jaw clenched, emotions racing and she wished that he was still alive so she could have taken his life. But that was selfish, wrong and a heinous act to the minds of others yet she didn't care. She felt betrayed by her fathers who couldn't even cast her one glance. Shaking her head she snapped her eyes away from the mirages that played with her mind to see the Blood Nile. The sluggish waters and she wondered if he sat here like this often and didn't he think about the future and his mistakes. "To be here again is rather funny." Amusement was on her tongue as she continued to watch the river, tension slowly leaving her body as she forgot about her family.
-
Bumping and updating as she is a Ruiner now!
-
The woman was amused at the quick and sudden retort that came as she spoke her mind about the situation. Oh they didn't like a free thinker did they? Always getting to brainwash others into their disgusting creed to live by. Of course of course. "Your asinine god is not my god. Best to remember that." She snarled heatedly as she looked at the sorry excuse that hobbled up and she rolled her ice cold orbs away from the other. They would get puffy at her and yell at her their pointless words about their Red God all they wanted to. Her father had told her many things about that God and he had even appeared to her father when he had led, tainted his mate to live as a vampire. She knew these things were real but her treatment did not make her want to be a follower of some old forgotten relic in her mind. A queen did not bow to others and it would be no different here. Pushing to her paws she decided she didn't want to waste her time here and she glanced to the body before shrugging her shoulders. "When you are done being brainwashed let me know. We can hang out or whatever." With that she left, heading away from them all.
