He didn't want to admit that that was the reason. Of coyrse there was others. Like he was nineteen, no job, and not even an ounce of responsibility. "Don't put words in my mouth, Ansley." He warned. Before running a hand through his hair. "I have a scholarship. I have a good thing going right now. I don't have any kind of job to help support you and then when you have the baby I have three mouths to feed including my own. I'm not trying to be an a$$, Ansley. I know I'm a butthead, but I have no way of supporting you."

sorry, was at work. Tomorrow is going to be another long day as well so I probably won't respond between 8:30am and 8:30pm est tomorrow.
Michael fell quiet but found himself talking without thinking, "But I can't in good conscience let you do this alone. It takes two to tango, Ansley. You assume everything is on you, just like i can't walk like my father did." The words he spoke stung. His father had walked out on his mother the second she told him she was pregnant. His mother had no one, no family or friends who could help her financially. He had spent the first five years of his life in homeless shelters with his mother before she finally had scraped up enough for an apartment for the two of them. "I can't do what he did." He repeated but then added much quieter, "I would have no family to go to. I would lose everything." Because he knew his mother would disown him if he did the same as his father and he knew he would lose more than just his mother but also Ansley if he decided to walk.

Ooc I'm sorry this is a crappy post. I am half asleep due to work today.
*:・゚✦ Clay watched her for several long moments before darting off. She had been crying. She was beautiful but was crying. Once far enough away he changed back to human and called out, "Hello!? Are you okay?" He stumbled into the clearing to see the girl, this time in his jeans, boots, and a shirt. He had to remember to thank his dad for recommending a witch to charm his clothing so he wouldn't be naked. He moved towards the girl hold his hands up slightly as if to show he wasn't going to hurt her. "I heard screams and growling. I came as quick as I could. You okay?" He asked gently as he approached, kneeling beside her once getting close enough. He once he knelt beside her he realized this was not who he had thought it was. But he continued to be nice. He wasn't sure why but maybe it was the shade of her hair in the dark or the shape, height, and overal figure of the girl that made him think it was his ex. As the girl still seemed to be getting herself together he gently touched her ankle to see how badly it was hurting. He carefully pulled away and sat down, facing the girl. Hoping she was alright.
As he waited for any sign of her being okay he took in her features. Blonde hair, longer than his ex's but still blonde. She was didn't seem a whole lot different than his ex.... other than her voice. That was different. It soothed him and relaxed his wolf more than he had ever thought possible. Maybe he was just overthinking everything. As his muscles relaxed he kept an ear out for the sounds of the nighttime forest and any sign of the wolf returning. But he settled in and asked, "Do you always go for a walk in the forest at night?"
"Speech."

Michael had sunk down to sit beside, not touching her until she reached for his hand. He willingly let her take it out of habit. He mulled over her words for a long time before he mumbled out, "Even with your waitressing job you can't afford a kid, Ans." He wanted to be angry, furious, or even just break something at their own stupidity. But he was quiet, thinking everything over, carefully mulling over her words. He half wanted to walk away now and not look back, but the other half didn't want to willingly destroy whatever this relationship was between them. He didn't want to lose her. "I don't know what to do." He said quietly. He was extremely intelligent, all A's in school... but he couldn't figure out what he wanted to do or even what he should do.
-
Sierra took in his words, mulling them over as she listened to him. This was a dream for him? And it started when he found out she was alive? Well that is shocking. She knew her features showed her shock. She remained quiet, carefully thinking over what she should say.
"I..... I've been on the move. I don't stay in one place very long." She cut herself off before she said it was due to the fear she had of his father. It made sense too, considering he had caught her off guard and preety much mauled her into submission that night. She also left out the mutiple addictions, her depression, and her anxiety that kept her from ever answering the attempts at contact.
"I saw the rest of the country." Sierra smiled. "It was beautiful." It was hard to force herself to remain in place talking to Darren. She wanted to flee. Not because was mean but because her anxiety was incredibly high. She also partly thought he deserved better than herself as his biological mother. "I saw the good in some people and thd ugly in others. I can't say I was helping bring out the good as I was more often then not looking far worse than this." She had a smile on her face, and the words seemed to come out before she could stop them but they were easy to say.
"You look a lot like him...." Sierra said gently, there was no smile on her face now, just a simple saddened look. "I would like to apologize for not meeting you sooner..... I..... I wasn't in a good state of mind until more recently." Sierra explained before asking, "Do you do sports or do you like books? What is your favorite animal?" She could have sworn he smelled like a wolf, but she wasn't sure and considering there where humans around she decided to be more descreet.

Micheal thought for a second, "would your parents be willing though?" He asked looking over at her. Of course he knew his mother would give him an earfull when she found out but wouod eventually end up helping. "What about your schooling? What are you going to do?" He wasn't sure what to do. "It's hard to not beat myself up." He mumbled as he gently squeezed her hand trying to find comfort in it.

"Well at least you stay active." Sierra smiled. "Personally I am more of a book geek." She motioned to herself before adding, "However I could never turn down a good game of baseball. What about you?"
When he mentioned he liked wolves she was sure he could see her visibly stiffen but she relaxed when he mentioned really liking horses. "Horses come a close second to the Red Tailed Hawk (Chicken Hawk) for me." For her she could easily change into either animal, her go to animal, however, was the Hawk while the horse tended to be her second most used animal.
"What kind of sports do you like? What kind of books do read?" She asked, wanting to learn all she could about him.

well, I had her little charavter sheet in the spoiler above :) she would be about 18 years old and her name is Avangelina Lyra Jenson. :)

(I'm late to the party.... so just gonna squeeze her in....))
Avangelina scurried up the fire escape behind two others from the side of the mall, before crashing through the fire door on the roof. She quickly bolted it with the help of the other two before heading off towards where the group was two backpacks strapped to her back, while her two companions each carried a large duffle bag. The small olive skinned girl moved quietly through the mall. She had been one of the six that had been sent out on a supply run. Ava trailed behind the two keeping more to herself. Upon spotting where her group was she picked up her pace. Her limbs were sore as her adrenaline rush wore off, but she moved towards Eric first. "Had pick a lock for these." She plopped one of the backpacks down carefully, as she knew there was some glass in there. It was mostly over the counter medical supplies, but she did manage to break into the supply cabinet that was badly beaten up and retrieve much stronger medication. She then moved towards Will.
"Sorry for being late. Ran into a problem, and then got swarmed by the sick." She said, a look of regret on her face as she knew the fate of the other three that had gone with them was not as lucky. She set the second back pack down as she continued, "We had to go further away this time too. Even then there was hardly anything left. We scavanged three separate stores. A Pharmacy, Grocery, and a Convenience Store. All had hardly anything. With the exception of the Pharmacy. We managed to pick the lock to get into the back where the stronger drugs were." She informed, as she set the backpack down and removed one of her overly padded sleeves she had made for herself before removing her overly padded leg protection as well, revealing her brown bomber jacket and dusty black skinny jeans.
Avangelina rumaged through the bag and found a two books. One looked more comic book like while the other was old Time Magazine she had grabbed from the Pharmacy store, one of the good ones too that would cost about $15 and explained space, and travel, and all that fun stuff. Even the potential of another planet. "Hey, found you something." She said to Rocko holding out the comic book and the magazine. "Not much, but perhaps you might enjoy it. I wasn't able to find any BB Guns." She had a small handgun strapped to her hip, despite her being a bad shot, and a metal baseball bat hung on her back. She was a better shot swinging the bat that she was shoot the gun, and even then it took several swings to take down one Sickly. She was far better with her slinshot and rocks.
-
Ava shook her head at Will's question of the other three. She did not really want to go into it. Most of the things the small group had gotten a hold of where medical things, with a few cans of food nothing near what they could have had if the other three hadn't fallen. The six had split up. It had been a smart idea at the time, but looking back they never should have done it. Maybe they might have had more of the group survive if they had, or maybe all six would have been dead. Either way, she knew they never should have split. "There is a store similar to Lowe's near here... we could get most of the supplies like seeds, dirt and stuff from there. But it takes at least a half our walk each way from here. It is next to one of the grocery stores we Scavanged today... but do we even have anyone with a green thumb who could work on the whole growing the food?" Ava asked looking to Kayden.
She grinned at Rocko as he took the stuff she had brought back for him, "Your welcome, Rocko, figured it was something you might like." Ava then added to Zahara's comment, "If we could get into the security officers' room we might be able to find plans. They have to have that kind of stuff somewhere in this mall incase something ever happened. If we are lucky we should be able to find where the lines lead." The only reason she knew the Security Office might have plans sewer line plans was because she had been in a mall's security office before for shop lifting... but she was not going to bring that up. "And there are sewers in the parking lot..."
"Don't rats carry viruses?" She asked Kayden curiously.
-
"Butthead." Ava mumbled to no one in particular as she dumped out the supplies of the second backpack which was mostly plastic bottles of medicine and a couple cans of food before slinging it over her back and stalking off to where she had made her bed when she first arrived. She knew leaving the mall with fifty people was not a smart option. It was too many people. Too much liability. Too hard to stay quiet. Didn't Will know that? Curiosity was getting the better of her as she tried to figure out who had tried to swipe supplies and failed miserably.
Idiot should have made sure no one was watching.... Ava thought and tried not to laugh at the stupidity of the wanna be thief. Of course she knew how to pick pocket, pick locks, and get around sneakily enough that if she really wanted to she was sure she could sneak out with a backpack of supplies and not return. But she would never do that not to these people. They were too hard to gain the trust of and frankly she had grown to trust those here enough to help them stay alive like she trusted them to at least try to help her stay alive.
She dropped her bag on her sleeping bag along with her baseball bat she had gotten from the sports store in the mall, before slinking off after Will to see who the Wanna-Be-Thief was. She remained quiet, and hardly making a sound as she trailed behind him her chocolate brown eyes getting distracted by the one window and she moved towards it, to peer out. It was hard to see and the mornning light looked dusty brown. She found her feet taking her away from trailing after will and instead wandering off through the mall.
