Davis' eyes bulged at the thought of paying that much for two rooms. "That is...absolutely not in our budget," he told Henry. "It's not like we haven't had to share a bed before." He sat down in the lobby on one of those cheap chairs they always have in most motels. He began to scroll through his phone notifications. There was a severe thunderstorm warning, and a breaking news article about giants in the area. Just great.

"Anyways, guys, you'll find me in the bar," Davis told them, and he was off.

Heading the word “adventurer” made Davis stop in his tracks and turn around to go talk to the woman himself. Oh, yeah. He’d read about the giant problem just minutes before. Being the valiant man he thought he was, he kneeled down before the woman and kissed her hand. “We are at your service, milady.”

Giants wouldn’t put up that hard of a fight, would they? He knew they were probably hill giants, the dumbest of them all. Davis has never seen a giant in real life, but he’d been told stories about them ever since he was a young man. He kept telling himself that a lack of intelligence would render them easy to defeat somehow.

I don't really have a face claim or a picture so you can imagine him how you like.

He was born female but is genderfluid and mostly presents as male. He has very severe self harm issues, which is what landed him in the hospital. He has a lot of trouble expressing his feelings and tries not to get too attached to anyone as he feels they will all just leave him.

Appearance: His skin is a very light lavender purple color, his hair is long and dark blue, and his eyes are a solid silver all over. He has a strong jawline and a slightly pointed chin as well as his nose and ram-like horns. His left eyebrow is pierced.

Armor wise, he doesn’t wear any. He wears a a long, flowing cloak, just like the one I’ve attached, open in the front and the hood down. Underneath, he wears a white button-up shirt with the top two or three buttons undone, tucked into a pair of black leggings, which are also tucked into a pair of brown boots that come up to his knees. He wears a golden-chained necklace with an odd blue gem, and he carries a wooden staff. He also carries a dark brown rucksack.

Personality: He's very quiet and observant, and somewhat shy at first before he gets to know you. Overall, he's very content. He has a lesson for every situation drawn from observing nature.

Ideals: He believes that the natural world is more important than all constructs of civilization.

Bonds: He is trying to reconnect with his true parents.

Flaws: He is too enamored of wine, ale, and other intoxicants.

"We could camp out if you aren't comfortable sleeping in an inn," Kairon suggested. He did pack a bedroll in his rucksack. "And if any trouble runs into us...what can't a sorcerer and some mages handle?" He was starting to feel the effects of that ale anyway.
