Tracking & Hello!

Crash!
The leucistic cougar clutched onto the bars of her cage for support as the truck jerked around. Once again, her humans had not secured her and her "inmates" properly, and everyone was being thrown all over the place. She looked out the window, which could barely even be considered an air hole, and saw nothing but trees. Normally, the caravan would travel on major roads and would never stray far from the twoleg settlements. Perhaps they were lost?
She glanced at the cage across from her. The damn monkey had already unlocked himself again, and was harassing the bears. I wonder if Capuchins taste good? she pondered. However, she knew it wouldn't matter what the meat tasted like, if she couldn't get those damn clothes off. For whatever reason, fans of their travelling circus just adored the monkey and his suit. Leuci kind of felt bad for the guy; the humans never let him take it off, and he had developed multiple sores. But nobody here was spared from the humans, so she couldn't really pity anyone too much. The white puma had her own scars, mostly across her face, from the humans trying to "train" her. However, they had quickly realized that Leuci was much better as eye candy rather than a performer. The bears had hat handled - they were much more compliant.
Crash!
The vehicle banged around again. This wasn't the usual: the cougar was used to much smoother rides than this. Everyone else seemed to be just as irritated as her. The monkey screeched and through off his hate - Leuci knew that would earn him a nasty beating - the bears growled, and the cobras even began to voice their opinion.
Thud!
Suddenly, everyone was flung onto the left side of their enclosures. Then, the top - now the right. They were rolling down a hill! Leuci counted about three rolls before they finally stopped. She heard the humans hollering from a distance - the hitch must have detached from the cabin. She glanced to her left. The monkey had been flung into the bear's enclosure. He seemed to be unconsious. The snake's cage had been thrown across the room and the door was open. Two of them were still, but one was slithering slowly across the floor. Leuci then realized that not only was her own cage door open, but the truck's door as well.
There was no thought involved. She made a run for it. Leuci ignored her throbbing head, and the wetness dripping down her maw that she knew must be blood. She ran for as long as she physically could, until she collapsed. The white cougar heard no humans, but she did smell something... off. There were animals here, and a lot of them. But where?

Done! And the movie was pretty good, I recommend it if you are into the other movies.
-
Haha yeah
Or you know starve to death because of procrastination XD

Thanks for the welcomes! Thinks are pretty good, I've just returned for a long Hiatus so that's nice
And I'm going to Moraine State Park tomorrow depending on the weather so that should be fun. How about you? -
The white cougar's hair stood on end as she heard the stranger's voice. She whipped her head around and leaped to her feet. Leuci was surprised that it was a smaller animal that owned the voice she heard. This stranger had spoken with such confidence speaking to the large predator, Leuci was a bit unnerved. Was there something she didn't know?
"Uh, District? Of what? My business? I, uh... who are you?" She spoke cautiously, confusion clear in her voice. The cougar raised her paw absentmindedly to her bloodied face, which had already seemed to dry.
After recollecting her thoughts Leuci spoke again. "Um... Well my name is Leuci. And um business... I guess I'm in the entertainment business? But you see, I'm not a business woman, I just, err... well, first off, where the hell am I?"
-
As more and more creatures approached her, Leuci grew even more uncomfortable. Surely the spitfire could take them on should the need arise, right? But they seemed to be friendly. Then again, maybe it was just a facade - who knows what these people could be planning. The white cougar took a moment to study each individual.
The original feline who had approached her had wings ((she does have wings, right? Judging by profile pic? lol)). Leuci was not used to seeing many other felines, and certainly not winged ones. But she had met a colony of bats that stayed in her tent for a while once, and they claimed to be winged mammals. So perhaps this feline was not too strange? Well, she certainly seemed strange enough for her own humans to probably want her.
Behind this... Windchimes lady, there was another mammal. Or at least, it seemed to have fur and four legs, which Leuci would assume meant this creature was a mammal. However, he was not like anything she had ever seen. This guy looked like he was... melting? Greyscale she noted mentally. Well, he was gray. That shouldn't be too hard to remember. And his face certainly wouldn't be too hard to forget - nor his strange pelt. He seemed to be a bit nervous, which was something Leuci both distrusted and related to.
Then, the serpent - no, a cat ((I'm assuming you mean cat instead of car?? LOL)). Did she just transform!? Leuci took a step back and rubbed her eyes with her large, clumsy paws. She must have hit her head harder than she thought when the truck crashed.
She looked back again to the melting thing - she had never seen a hyena before - and opened her mouth to speak. However, she wasn't quite sure what to say. The pale puma was overwhelmed. She took a couple seconds to straighten out her thoughts once more, then tried to speak.
"Uh, hi. Nice to meetchya, I guess? Oh, um, well my caravan seems to have wrecked. I took my chance and ran... and wound up here. Sorry, I didn't mean to intrude!" She paused briely. "Is that what happened to all of you? Are you escapees? Or do your humans let you out of your cage?" She hated to spurt out more questions, but she was so utterly confused."And when you say a clan - do you mean a circus or zoo? I've never quite heard of a clan before. Or a... Skoo - ul?" she added. Leuci did not think that Greyscale was rude at all. In fact, she appreciated being corrected, at least this time.
-
Ooo, mass adoptions! Sounds fun.

Leuci isn't ready to have kids either lol. But she could have "adopted" family members that also escaped from her traveling circus? So like a plot family rather than a relations family.
-
Ahh I used to before my bookmarks vanished but it was in the old format anyways which is a pain to convert lol
Oh speaking of plots, anyone want to come up with some plots with Leuci? She needs to learn about clan life haha

Oh an apprenticeship would be fun, either an informal one or formal. She's about ten moons, so it would probably be fairly short but she ages in real time so maybe not.
-
Greyscale would also be up for an apprenticeship, though yes a short one would work best
He doesn't know enough about much to teach an apprentice for a long time
Sure! Who will make?
-
Did she have a name? Well of course, although the white cougar assumed that Windchimes wasn't literally asking if she had one, but rather what it was. "Uh, Leuci. My name is Leuci." So she grew up here? That could only mean...
These were wilds.
Leuci had mostly heard of them from her old cage-mate who had past away a few moons ago. The lioness had mentioned them a few times, and said that they lived separate from humans, and could do whatever they wish. However, it cost them: they had to survive on their own, with no help at all. Of course, this was the kind of life that Leuci had been aiming for when she escaped, but she didn't quite realize how close that dream was. Was this it? Was she finally free?
The large feline was a bit suspicious of these strangers, though. They were awfully nice - perhaps too nice? No, she was being ridiculous. What was wrong about being friendly? Nonetheless, Leuci could not hide the hesitance in her voice as she spoke: "Stay with you? Well, I don't want to intrude or anything. But I mean, if you have space... But really, I don't want to bother you all."
Leuci turned to Greyscale. His questions further confirmed her suspicions: these were wild animals. Like the bats that had once lived in her tent, these creatures were free to do whatever they pleased. And now she had the chance to be one of them. "Oh don't worry about it! Yeah, amnesia can be tough. A lot of my 'mates have had at least symptons of it. Our folk tend to end up with a lot of head trauma..." She absentmindedly raised her paw to the cut on her head, which by now had stopped bleeding. "Anyways, a caravan is just sort of a way of my kind to travel together. And a circus and a zoo are fairly similar. Do you know about humans? Ya know, up-walkers, twolegs, skin-pelts, masters." God, she hated that last one. If Leuci knew one thing, it was that nobody was ever going to be her master again. "Anyways, the lock up folks like you and me - folks they think are "special" or whatever, like how I got a white pelt instead of yellowish or somethin' and you're all... er, melty. And all of these humans gather from around the world to stare at you and make you do things you don't want to do and starve ya until you do somethin' funny. It's no good, really, 'less you're a human. Then it's a blast, I guess."
Leuci was now rather winded as she turned back to the transforming feline. Luckily, she couldn't really think of anything to say. Leuci was a firm believer that there were no gods. Or at least, no good ones. But this... creature seemed to be otherworldly. Surely there was a logical explanation for how she could transform, or read Leuci's face so well that it was almost like telepathy. The cougar blinked her brown eyes stupidly, struggling to understand this "descendant of some pretty important oceans gods" that sat before her.
-
Leuci paused, her metaphorical brows furrowed in fright. What did she just say? Her body lowered instinctively and muscles tensed. She was terrified - this lady was in her head! What if Leuci thought something stupid, god it would be so embarrassing. She better not think about anything she wouldn't want anyone knowing, like her deepest sexual fantasies...
But as she tried to not think about those things, of course she started thinking about them. So in a desperate attempt to block Wavewing from continuing to read her mind, she started to scream in her head.
"L-listen, my only head problem right now is that you're in it! I got private stuff in there!" she accidentally shouted. Underneath her fur, she was sure that her cheeks were turning bright red.

Ah sorry I quoted the wrong post! Wind chimes is mentoring Leuci. Greuscale cam do an informal apprenticeship or a secondary one if you'd like

Leuci's ears flattened shyly. She was scared, confused, and exhausted. But Windchimes was being so kind to her that she was at least feeling a bit calmer now. "I... Thank you, that would be wonderful." she spoke to Windchimes, smiling slightly. Perhaps this place would be her new home.
She tried to ignore that the magical telepathic feline had just summoned plants. Having never seen any powers before, this was certainly a surreal experience. Although she was grateful that Wavewing had stopped reading her mind - or so this lady says - Leuci was still rather off put by the entire scenario.
She also felt somewhat grateful for Greyscale, probably because she could relate. Being immersed in a strange lifestyle you know nothing about can be very confusing and overwhelming, much like amnesia.
-
Haha sorry! And thanks, that would be perfect!
-
Ooo pretty! I like it

The white cougar padded nervously towards the meeting, her heavy steps echoing in the vacant halls. She kept her eyes peeled for signs for the auditorium. Leuci had learned to read a bit from the lioness she had once shared a cage with, but her skills were mediocre at best. But she did know that auditorium was a big word, and when she saw it on a big sign next to a set of doors, she was able to recognize it.
The puma stopped walking and twitched her ears. She couldn't hear anything... Is this the right place? Perhaps it was a trap. Leuci pondered for a moment if she should just run away. No, these people had opened up their home to her. It would be rude to leave now. She took a deep breath and pushed open the doors.
She was in the back of a grand room. In the front of the room was something that Leuci was all too familiar with: a stage. A shudder traveled up her spine. But standing confidently on top of the stage was a familiar face. Leuci felt that she could trust Windchimes, at least. She padded silently down the aisle towards the front of the room where everyone else was seated. The group appeared to be small, which was something that she approved of. The white cougar took a seat on the floor off to the side, ears attentively focused on the leader.
