One of the reasons she wanted to be a doctor's apprentice was so that she could eventually teach those that needed about medicines, so when Sidewalkpup asked Imagine to teach her how to swim, the female would nod her head. She needed to start learning how to teach, so what better time to do it than now. "Yeah, I can teach you." She'd offer, smile on her maw as she did so, "Are you used to the water enough to be able to stand in it?" That was the first step - to not be scared of water.

Her head would move around as Sidewalk walked in circles around Ima, eyes trying to keep attention on what the other was saying, getting some broken sentences and trying to fill in the blanks as much as she could. "Okay, then now you should go step into the water and get used to it. Sometimes it's cold." She was sure it'd be colder than she would have liked today, considering the weather wasn't as sunny as she would have liked. The sky was mostly clear, but with it being winter in most places, she knew that it would be more strange to see perfectly clear skies.

Since more and more things had been being held, Imagine had been being late to more and more of them, so she had gone out and implemented a friend that she cared deeply for to let her know when there was talking going on, or something important that she needed to go to. This friend was a lemur named Lotus, and she was Ima's pet of sorts, or, rather, companion. The lemur had prodded Ima's side when her grandmother had called for the medical stuff to be held, showing the officer the direction of where it had come from, making it so that the female showed up on time for once. Ears pricked slightly as Lotus hung out on her back, waiting for something else to be said.

Moving forward to follow the young child, Imaginedragons would offer a smile down to her when she looked back, tail wagging as she thought about how well she was already doing. Sidewalk seemed to be eager enough to do this, which was a good thing, and Ima appreciated it. Getting into the water herself, her legs were barely covered by the time she reached the other, thinking for a moment as she figured out what she did next to learn. "In order to learn, you will need to recognize not to get scared when your feet don't touch the ground any longer, and that you will stay on top of the water, as long as you stay calm. Once you are used to this, try to go in a little further, and if you get to the point where your feet no longer touch, then pretend like you are walking in the water, and it should help you move." If something happened, she'd make sure to be right behind the fox pup, so as to grab onto her scruff, or help push her back to where she could touch. "And don't be frustrated if you can't do it the first time. It takes some getting used to." Usually, instincts would kick in, however.

She hadn't heard the call from the other, but had been making her way back to camp when she had seen Sugarpop call something out with the pretty flower crowns on the ground. Her ears pricked slightly as she looked down at the things, then back up to the wolf before her, eyes looking back over the flowers once more. Everything here was so pretty. "Did you make all of these?" The officer would ask, looking back up to Sugarpop for when the other answered her.

Not being able to hear was really taking its toll on Ima, the sudden prodding from her lemur companion causing the borzoi to stir, eyes scrunching slightly as she stretched, trying to wake up from her nap. Usually Lotus simply woke her up to let her know when meetings were being held, or when someone needed her, but this time, she seemed different, and it caused the riftian member to wake with confusion and alarm, trying to figure out what, exactly, was going on. It wasn't until she opened her eyes and smelled floodwaters that she finally got up, eyes widened slightly as she grabbed onto the scruff of her companion's neck, running around quickly as she made her way to higher ground, eyes darting everywhere, trying to find the source of the water so that she could move away from that.

A small whimper left the hearing impaired canine's throat before Lotus began swinging slightly, moving in the direction of the others, and Ima started to make her way over there, feet already being covered by the murky waters, quickly moving up her legs until she no longer could touch the ground, and Lotus had to climb onto the canine's back as she swam towards her queen and Lorina, ears pinning to her head, though thankful that she also lived in a place where swimming was mandatory.

Looking over towards Summer, Ima looked around for a moment as she tried to find those who the other seemed to be talking about, but with the hysteria of the situation, Ima didn't know names properly. She had caught the sign language just in time for the other to tell her to go tell the rift of what was going on, and with a quick nod, the once-white canine would begin swimming that way before eventually disappearing off in the distance.

//Ima out, lmao also, I really like this plot, and it's late so this was a bit rushed

Imaginedragons was part of the Rift, but also part of the Empire now, a newer clan that had recently asked to be allied with the Rift. Soon after hearing of the alliance, Imaginedragons had gone over there to see what it was like, only to eventually join the place and call it her second home. She felt rather comfortable there, up until recent events where she had been frantically signed to go back to her own home, and let them know what was going on. She wasn't sure if it was a call for help, but she knew that her grandmother would be more than willing to do so if it led to it.

Swimming back into the territory of her first home, Imaginedragons called out telepathically for her grandmother as she began to head towards the lighthouse, soaked white fur dripping down her legs, leaving stained paw-prints in the sand. "Grandma!" She'd call out, a small whine leaving the canine's throat as soon as she did so, worry evident on her face. "The Empire, there's a flood, and the territory is destroyed. Everything is destroyed." She had been swimming for so long, and she was so tired.

BARELY HANGING ON | OPEN, GREAT FLOODING + VISION. [Clanwide Plot]

    SUMMERSEND M. ;)

She watched as the child moved forward into the water more, her own feet bringing her body forward so as to keep close to the other, to make sure that if something happened she would be a quick step away from Sidewalk. Ima hadn't noticed Frightfur coming onto the scene, her focus too into what was going on in the water, and her having not been facing the other direction made it harder for her to be able to notice things coming.

Every time Sidewalkpup went under the water, Ima held her breath for a second, waiting for the time when she wouldn't come up, and she would have to jump over there. Relieved in the fact that she never had to do that, the canine moved back to shallower waters as Sidewalk did, concerned gaze landing on her when she suddenly froze, and seemed to force a smile upon herself. "It's okay," She spoke, a soft smile reaching her own face in hopes of calming the other down, "Sometimes things in the water can startle you, just try to take a deep breath if they do though." She had never seen anyone get killed by a fish this close to the shore, after all.

After having ran back to the Rift in order to tell them what had been going on, Imagine had found that the Empire was gone, and that those that had been left there were dead, having drowned in the murky waters that had suddenly showed up and destroyed their home, so she followed the scent of those that she recognized most, hoping to be able to find them all again, or, at least, catch up to those that were left of everything. A relieved sigh left the canine as she saw the rest of her clan stopped in a place much different than before, and saw Summer say something about living here, though she hadn't quite caught what the name was. She'd be able to figure that out later, however, and didn't worry about it too much at the moment.

It was odd, seeing so many new faces in one place, though she supposed that having new faces was good. They needed more members if they were to keep up their strength, and Ima was more than happy to be able to see more around. It meant more to talk to, after all. Eyes would look around at those who were already there, and she'd notice that Agata seemed to be doing something about the wound - or, had at least said something about doing it. "If you need any help, let me know." She'd manage, eyes looking towards the other for a moment before looking back at the newest member of the group. "My name is Imaginedragons, it's nice to meet you." She'd speak, looking back towards Agata every so-often to see if she would speak.
