His expression darkened when Blackroses counted up the names of his lost loved ones, his friends that had disappeared. Khel still had hope that they would return soon but he had accepted that they might not come back. The demotions were expected and he listened carefully for the promotions but when they didnt come he just mentally shrugged. Blackroses needed to see who was fit for what job and it wasnt completely outrageous that she wanted more time to see who fit the best. He was about ready to hear the last part of the meeting when Rose also gave a weeky shout out to him and Mikoto. Eiva had never done that before so he was caught a bit off-guard but after a moment he realised that he should probably be proud to have gotten a shout out. The hippogriff gave his leader a grateful nod and puffed out his feathers jokingly. He had nothing else to add so he just waited for Rose to continue speaking.

Kheleesos spoke up clearly. "I think that the Black Heart Rogues, the Highlands and the Thunderlands could be great allies to us. We have some people with dual alliances to the first two while the Thunderlands have been very friendly with us from the start. We had even planned a picnic event before Eiva and the rest disappeared." He paused for a moment before speaking again. "I also think that themed ranks would be interesting for the Circle. Maybe something themed around our Oak Tree or something that has to do with monarchy to honour our history."
It wasnt that long ago since they had been a monarchy, it was only a few months ago that Eiva changed it to what we had now. Back then there was only one rank of power and that was the King or Queen ruling the Circle all alone. It had been an extremely hard position to hold due to stress and exhaustion and it had only been a matter of time before someone did something about it. Back then it was also only the firstborn of the current King or Queen that would get the crown after their parent's passing, now it should be the most capable person for the job.

The hippogriff walked up to him but stopped beside Rose. "Welcome to the Kinship Circle, traveller," he greeted the stranger as he tried to listen to how he would react. Some people thought they were some kind of weird cult that did blood rituals on saturday evenings, that was wrong of course but it still half amused him and half annoyed him. It would often become a bit awkward when people would ask what they worshipped. This one seemed to be looking for something, maybe an invite to the Circle? It was kind of unusual to see people who didnt have any buisness here in their territory because of how sheltered they were with the arcane mountains on two sides and water on the other side. It was really an end-station if you travelled.

The hippogriff rolled over a log to see if there was any mushrooms underneath it that had any useful medical properties. A lot of mushrooms were very poisonous but some could be used to treat infections and take away pain. He huffed as he saw that nothing useful was under it and carerfully put the log down again to not disturb anything in case something wanted to grow there later. A scent of flowers caught his attention and he walked in the direction of them for a while before scenting something else, or rather someone else. It was the sleepy Monday, when he had left camp she had been dead asleep but seemed fairly awake now. "Hello there Monday!" he called out. Khel gave her a smile as he smelled all of the flowers nearby. There were far too much of them to pick up all at once and he had been out for quite a while so he just walked up to her and sat down beside her, careful to not accidently squish any flowers.
"I see you are awake at last, enjoying the flowers." He idly picked up a flower and put it in his basket.

He nodded a greeting towards Mikoto and gave him a warm smile. Then Khel turned his head towards Monday again, he could feel that she didnt like to talk about her sleeping schedule and decided not to bring it up in the future unless she wanted to talk to him about it. He didnt know anything that would help her though and he felt like a really bad healer. Kheleesos wished that someone else would be ready to take up the job, someone better and more capable than him. It felt frustrating not knowing how to help someone, being a guardian had been so much straight-forward.
"I dont really know the meaning of any flower. Except maybe forgetmenots." He smiled. "Those are pretty easy." Kheleesos remembered reading a book about them when he was younger. It was a story of a girl and a boy falling in love. In the end the girl was taken away by bandits and she gave the boy one last gift, the forgetmenot flower. He felt quite sad about not being able to read books anymore, it had been relaxing to read while a thunderstorm raged outside.

Just post something here and I will give you a little something for your character to do. It can be that they sprain their paw or that they feel a sudden urge to listen to music.

Blackroses has catched an autumn cold, it will go away in a couple of days but it will complicate things
Monday has found a rare ,softly glowing, flower that never seems to die, maybe it has some special properties?
Zezmos's powers have been merging in a weird way; creating something that looks like black fire. Maybe shadow fire?

The hippogriff followed the scent of Zezmos through the forest, he had heard that someone had been at the border a few minutes ago and instantly followed the scent of his friend to find out more. Kheleesos flew over there and looked curiously at the letter Zezmos was holding. "An invite to the Thunderlands, seems exciting," he said cheerfully. Of course they were going to visit the Thunderlands, they had always been very friendly with them and there was no reason not to. "Lets go back to camp and get ready to go in a few hours." He turned around and unfolded his giant wings again. One powerful flap of them and he sent himself shooting up in the air while the grass below him left a temporary crater of wind-blown blades.

Kheleesos smiled as the sleepy Monday leaned against his shoulder. "Thank you Monday," he murmured back to her as she congratulated him. It felt nice to be appreciated by her. He furrowed his brows worriedly as he could feel the negative energy drifting off of Atlas, the doberman seemed rather distressed. Probably at the mention of their old friends, those who left the Circle. He knew that Altas was unhappy about his decision to trust Rose as a leader and had tried to explain to him why he had done it, but the doberman had stubbornly refused to listen. Khel didnt feel down about it, he still viewed Atlas as his friend and he could understand why he felt that way.
Meetings every two weeks seemed like a feasible task and he nodded in agreement. Two weeks were enough to have something to say but also not too far apart to be extremely long and drawn out. There would probably be emergency meetings too if the Circle came into a conflict with another group but Khel hoped that wouldnt happen too soon. It would be a shame if someone he loved got hurt. He was already participating in all of the mentioned events so he just kept listening to his leader. When she mentioned high ranks he was instantly curious, he wasnt going to hide his interest and he still remembered Blackroses words in the forest where they first met.

Kheleesos looked calmly at the young doberman, it wasnt like him to be this agitated. "Atlas, please calm down. If you want to talk to me or Blackroses later Im sure it would be accepted. But you cant keep losing your temper like this, you have a responsibility towards the Circle as a Guardian; live up to it." He looked at his friend with unseeing eyes, only really noticing how the sun shone on his fur. "Have you also forgotten how rude the Exiles were at the gathering? The whole talk about murdering children and so forth? You cant trust them," he said in a dark tone. The healer felt very uncomfortable in the presence of them and had heard many dark stories on how they treated the other groups. He knew that some stories might be exaggerated but there was always a seed of truth in everything. "We know near to nothing about these groups other than the stories we've heard and the times that we have interacted with eachother at gatherings. Blackroses probably has more experiance than any of use here in the other groups's way of politics. We should trust her judgement."

So is everything decided with the ranks and all of that stuff? Kheleesos will host a little Craftmanship competition soon where you can do stuff and things if thats alright.

The healer had been having some trouble keeping up with some work he had to do but everything was done and finished now and he could do something fun for once. For a long time he had hoped to host some kind of competition where you could make something fun. At first he had thought of making a crown for the leader's position to have at formal meetings but he had decided not to do anything about that before he had spoken to Rose herself. He did have some ideas for it so he wouldnt mind if she came and asked for something similar but right now he just wanted to make a competition for fun and maybe in the future make a similar competition to actually put into the clan itself. Like a banner or a crown.
He had posted a notice on a billboard in the middle of the camp, it was mostly unused besides for a few other notes he had posted about medical assistance. The note said: "Kheleesos Aeridon Salvum will be hosting a craftmanship competition right outside of the camp boundaries in the small green meadow. More information will be given at the meadow by Kheleesos, bring your own materials and tools if you want to. Basic tools like hammers, scissors and paintbrushes will be provided but be prepared anyways. A Judge is also needed, I'm blind. See you there. - Kheleesos".
The hippogriff looked over towards the flat shaped logs he had placed as tables and hoped that people would soon be standing behind them. He happily noted that he could see specks of green and gold if he concentrated and was happy with how his eyes were healing, more than happy even. Overjoyed was the right word; he hadnt even been sure that he'd regain this much of his vision at all but right now it seemed possible that he would get his full vision back in a few months. Soon he could probably use really strong glasses to actually see basic shapes, even if they were going to be quite hazy for a long time.

He saw Atlas walking up to him where he stood infront of a flat wooden log and walked around it and greeted him. "Thank you Atlas." Khel gave him a smile. "Yeah I probably should have asked you." He trusted Atlas judgement even though they werent on the same side regarding Rose and her position as leader. "I really hope some people will arrive here soon, I would love to see some nice creativity." The hippogriff paused and looked longingly towards the logs. If he could just see the beauty of all the things that were created, maybe he could have it explained to him how it looked in color and such. He even wanted to participate himself but he would probably mess up thanks to his vision.

Sounds neat but I dont know if it fits the Kinship that much. If we were going for a nature themed approach we could just take a military or king/queen names and add something to it. Trees for exapmle: Oak general/ Oak king, Alder colonel/ Oak prince(?), Birch sergeant /Birch Knight, Hazel corporal/Hazel commoner, etc
And yes, medic could be more like a title

Kheleesos arrived at the meeting and he could see that Monday and Mikoto had already sat down infront of blackrose. He gave them a nod as a greeting and sat down beside them. The hippogriff gave Monday a small smile and waited for the meeting to start.

He could hear that Mondsay and Atlas were talking a couple of metres away and he got very curious. Kheleesos quickly walked in their direction, they were going to play some games. The hippogriff smiled and settled down beside Monday. "Hello there Monday and Atlas. May I join?" he said, still smiling towards Monday. It would be a lie if he told himself that he hadnt been a little bit jealous of Atlas talking alone with Monday but he shrugged off the new dark feeling, uncertain of why he had gotten it. He liked both of the games that Monday presented to he was quiet and let Atlas choose. He hadnt really played any games like these for a very long time, Khel guessed that he had just been busy with other things as of lately.

The, now only almost, blind healer stood quietly beside his friend Atlas. He looked around with his unfocused gold and green eyes, the green was a result from his family's mutation that always seemed to get inherited by the children of an Aeridon. His lame tracking post ended and the hippogriff sat down quietly, his black wings resting comfortably against his sides.
