Love the character idea!
Maybe instead of an actual name, theyll just go by “the raven”? It sounds mysterious and i think it fits them! I think non binary would be cool too.
As for a clan, i would suggest the Exiles since they would be accepted openly despite their morbid interests
& as a quick fyi in case you weren’t aware, raising the dead isnt an allowed power in the extended game — but you could still have y/c try to learn it though itll end up in failure (could be development material actually!!)

+ i think compared to "back in the day" there are a lot more lulls in activity due to school or irl stuff?
it might just be me but i feel the site demographic is a lot older these days and have more irl obligations -- however, though FF might be slow at times, the quality of writing has definitely increased!

for the first question, i dont believe it is allowed for ethereal beings to be played outside of the dimension -- however i will ask the admins for further details concerning this and the two other questions! will get back to you soon!

so what i said about the ethereal being was true (they cannot leave/be played outside of the pocket dimension at all)
however, these ethereal beings (alan) can trap the mortals (bob) in the dimension, if they ever get angry or just feel like it
as for the questions about connecting the dimensions, it's been re-discussed and staff has come to a consensus that we're removing that part of the power completely -- there will soon be a codex entry that will discuss the specifics in detail ^^
