I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER
"What's wrong with you?" That probably was not the best way to phrase it but Wrene didn't really care. As long as she got her point across. She approached the group, squinting at the one who seemed to have an attitude. "What? Rough day or something?"

"Cinnabarisland?" Wrene repeated the name upon approaching, eyeing the newcomer. She hummed to herself for a moment, thinking, before opening her mouth up again. "Do you go by Cin or something? No offense or anything but your name is too damn long." Wrene was already trying to learn the names of her other now-clanmates, having joined herself only a few days prior. Adding in another long name to remember just seemed like a lot of work that she didn't want to put in.
"Oh, I'm Wrene, by the way. Welcome to Shadowclan. If you ever want nice-looking fur again, I suggest you to turn back now. This humidity doesn't do anyone any favors."

I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Even though it had only been just over a day since she had joined, Wrene had grown to become quite annoyed with the fact that she didn't really know anyone. And those she did know, well, she didn't exactly have the best relationship with them. She understood that she wasn't the easiest person to get along with but it was irritating that she was surrounded by so many others she either didn't know or didn't like. So, to solve this problem, the girl thought up a game to help her get to know her fellow Shadowclanners.
"Hey, listen up!" she chimed after having decided there were enough people around to hear her. "Anyone want to play 20 questions?"

I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Now Wrene had just simply been bored. During her few days here, she had already explored the territory to the point that she could now easily make her way around the jungle. She didn't necessarily enjoy the exploring but now that she was done with it, she almost wished she could redo it. Not exploring meant that for the most part, she was just sitting around and listening in on her clanmate's conversations. So, when she heard something about weekly tasks, the tabby was eager to join. "Give me your worst," she called out.
-
I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Now that caught her attention. "Ooh~! Classified, huh?" Wrene questioned, a faint laugh leaving through her words. Her smile turned sour for a moment, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "What, are you a spy or something? Going to go all James Bond? If that's the case, you really shouldn't be a fucking celestial tiger--gives away your position." What? She was joking. She just liked messing with people.
Just like that, her expression turned almost welcoming now. "Well, whatever you are, it's a pleasure to meet you. Welcome to Shadowclan, I'm Wrene. If you need any help getting around, just ask. I practically know this jungle like the back of my paw now."
-
I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Wrene felt the same way. She was still in a mourning period for her own fur. Ever since she got here, it had been proofing up uncontrollably. It was truly a depressing time.
"Cin it is, then," she nodded. She decided then that she liked this newcomer. "Nice to meet you, too. Make yourself at home. If you need any help getting around, just ask."

I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Giving baskets, huh? That didn't seem too bad. It was more of the whole socializing thing that caused her to groan. The feline scrunched up her nose in disgust at just the thought of having to make small talk with random people. "You got it, sweetheart," she chirped back, an obviously fake smile crossing her maw.
-
I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Wrene was downright bored. There was nothing exciting to do. She had become desperate enough for entertainment to even start eavesdropping on conversations, hoping that she would overhear some groundbreaking secret or at least something to spice things up. Of course, she had overheard nothing that even sparked her interest. She was almost wished that she had taken more time exploring the jungle. At least that would have given her something to do. The feline sighed dramatically, rolling over.

I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS In her limited time here, Wrene had decided that mornings were favorite part of the day. It was more quite than usual, which she enjoyed despite being a pretty loud individual. She liked listening to the sounds of other jungle animals. It was almost... comforting? It was weird--she didn't like the idea of them anywhere near her but she liked listening to them. She hummed to herself for a moment in thought, stretching her limbs out and rolling over so she was in a better position to absorb the rays that managed to get past the dense undergrowth.

I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Her ability to quick adapt to new surroundings was certainly something she took pride of. Due to her life as a loner before hand, she had been constantly moving around and getting used to new places. It just seemed to come naturally to her now. Having been independent for so long, it seemed almost odd to ask for anyone's help instead of just figuring it out herself.
Hearing someone address her, the silver tabby turned to face the other. Her ears perked up in interest. Sieglinde, right. Honestly, the hardest part of joining Shadowclan was remembering who everyone was. "I've been trying my best to," she laughed, surprisingly pleasant for once. Wrene wasn't really in the mood for starting a fight. "Why don't you? You're welcome to join me."
-
I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS She shrugged, letting the topic go with that. Wrene shifted her position yet again so she could more easily face Seiglinde, her head now sat atop of my front paws. "Thanks. Figuring out what the fuck I'm doing is my specialty," she hummed, an easy smile spreading across her maw. She hadn't been here long enough to tell who was also new, though, based on what the other had said, she had a few guesses. "Shadowclan's pretty nice. Everyone seems nice enough. I don't know, I've been enjoying it here. But is it just me or are there a lot of people around?"
-
I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Honestly, Wrene hadn't expected a promotion. Sure she was around a lot but she wasn't exactly anyone's favorite person. Still, she would definitely take it. "Thank you," she offered after her name had been called.
-
I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Wrene let out a laugh at that, glad that she hadn't taken it as an insult. "Anusha? Is that a different language?" she questioned.
Her jaw dropped at the second part. "You don't know James Bond? Like 007? Really? Oh man, you're gonna have to watch some movies with me."
-
I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS "Are you talking to yourself?" Wrene mused, making her way to the unfamiliar Shadowclanner. That was kind of weird, wasn't it? Whatever. Maybe it was normal for these clan cats. She hadn't been here long enough to know. "I'm Wrene, by the way. Nice to meet you. You like magic?"
-
I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Wrene had never been to the Rift. All she knew about them was that they were apparently an ally? To be completely honest, she hadn't bothered to learn at all about the other clans. Having just joined Shadowclan herself, she was much too busy learning all the members and weird clan-things to also learn other clans on top of that. Why should she even need to know about the other clans if she wasn't going to live there? Frankly it seemed like a waste of time.
Obviously, her time was much better spent greeting joiners so that was exactly what she would be. "You smell shitty." Hey, no one said that she had to be nice. The silver tabby scrunched up her nose, eyeing the much-larger hyena. If he had been going for intimidation, Wrene was probably not the first one he would have wanted to meet. "What is that? Alcohol? Oh, right, name and business?"
-
I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS "Okay, good. I thought I was going crazy for a second there. It's like as soon as I think I know everyone, another face pops up out of nowhere," she said. "So, how long have you been here? Or were you born here?"

I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Her forehead furrowed at that. "Princess?" she repeated, faint laughter lacing through her words. That was a new one. She didn't have much time to think about that because her attention quickly turned towards the alcohol again. That was another first. "You know, joiners don't usually show up with a bag full of alcohol. Doesn't tend to give off the greatest first impression." Good thing she didn't care about first impressions. "We probably have a stash somewhere. I don't know; I haven't been here long enough to find one," she answered, shrugging.
"Ramsay, huh? It's a pleasure," she smiled, giving him a once over as if she was sizing him up. She decided that she liked this new guy. He seemed funny. "I'm Wrene. Welcome to Shadowclan."

I'M A DEAD GIRL WALKING — WRENE — SHADOWCLAN — SHE/HER — TAGS Oh. Well, that was a bit more than she had bargained for. Wrene could definately see how Sieglinde had gotten her reputation now. "Sounds rough," she commented, flexing her claws into a patch of dirt. The story kind of reminded her of herself. Sieglinde definately seemed to have had it a lot worse but it seemed like they came from the same general background.
