coldpaw — he/him — tags
A spotted form lay still on one of the dark sand beaches. His flank rose and fell, but not often. Coldpaw was, well, out cold. The young serval had simply washed up on the beach, his future unknown and sprawling ahead of him like a vast ocean. Who was he? And where was he from? These answers he could not even answer himself, at least not for the time being.
His eyes flashed open, hazy and not fully aware. He saw fuzzy shapes of rocks and cliffs coming into focus. Coldpaw groaned, feeling his whole body ache.
"Where the hell am I?" he choked out, coughing up some water as he did. "And what the hell happened to me?" he asked further, letting his head fall back on the warm sand.
