i actually love the witch/vampire vibes/aesthetic that azazel has going on and am super excited to see where her arc leads her, because from where youve left her as a blank state(sorta) again you can go literally anywhere and that is so exciting !!

Watching on as Kaia came to their sister's aid, Angelpaw winced at the sudden screeching of Azazel. The female was obviously warranted the cry of pain in the wake of their destroyed wings, but that didn't mean that the kitsune had to enjoy the aural pain that ensued. In fact, Angelpaw took a mild distaste to the noise. However the kitsune couldn't really do much to ease Azazel's pain, and it looked as if Kaia was doing all that she could at the moment. The young princess utilising magic to help ail their sister did somewhat confuse the kitsune, but tried to brush off the curiosity.
Blood was everywhere and there were two wounds gaping on Azazel's back, which was probably not the best. "What the hell happened to you?" Ang's voice inclined due to their perceived concern over Azazel's physical health, probably mental state too seen as how unstable the catsune was presenting.
(rushed, late and tired post. sorry.)

Late as ever, Angelpaw supposed that it would have been worse to just have not arrived to Fairy and the Unknown NPC's funeral. The reasoning wasn't strong, but it would do. So the kitsune managed to slink their way into the funeral and seat themselves by the familiar bobtail before absentmindedly looking around. The funeral had begun.
(rushed, late and tired. procrastinating studying is funnnn)

As Angelpaw arrived, blue eyes lazily grazed over the 'meal' caught by Azazel in curiosity, though all the kitsune's face could portray at the moment was a flat expression that appeared neither bored nor happy. Angelpaw was just, there today.
The kitsune didn't even look up towards the hellhound as he tossed a leg towards the two ghouls, didn't flinch or act like they had noticed. The kitsune continued to stare at the fleshy mound before asking, "Do you ever think about eating any of us?" Whether or not this was supposed to come out as a joke, the tone that Ang used was hard to decipher. Their head simply bobbed from one side to the other in curiosity. Because it wasn't as if the Sunclanenr themselves could answer that question, they weren't some kind of ghoul or demon or even vampire. The mortal was mortal and merely questioned what they didn't understand.
(tired, rushed sorry ;m;)

While researching new species did include some minor plant work, plants as a whole apart from their healing aspects were actually rather boring. But the kitsune didn't mind getting themselves down and dirty to achieve a higher task. So as Azazel announced the lesson Angelpaw was inclined to stay and listen to what the princess had to teach, even if it did invoke watching one of the slowest and most boring life-forms out there. Perhaps there would be some useful herbs for healing? Probably not.
Coming up to already gathered Sunclanners Angelpaw supposed that they should at least pick something interesting. The kitsune finally opting for a flowering pea plant that was adorned with purple flowers, Ang taking pleasure in the pea's history with genetics and the discovery of alleles. Mendel was truly facinating for a human.
Glancing back however Ang let out a small amused chuckle as they watched Levi immediately turn their nose at the prospect of dirt. The clean freak was evidently offended at the sight. "You'd think dirt was dangerous from the people here." The kitsune commented idly as they also noticed Suga's calming methods, finding even more amusement in that fact.
(tired + rushed)

Angelpaw had yet to finish their previous task, but just before cougar had to actually study why not receive the next one as well? The kitsune simply arrived and lay with their tails wrapped around their form as the Sunclanner silently awaited a new task.

(just warning you im real tired and just about to do some studying so this is a little rushed sorry ;n;)
A snitch? Well, Ang wouldn't prefer to use such words to eloquently describe themselves, more of a future snitch which did compliment the Somali rather well. That and perhaps 'liar'. But when it was so easy to fool the masses into believing that the little Somali couldn't think up anything smarter than breathing, who was to blame them? If they weren't so foolish, then perhaps Ang would have sympathy for them. Perhaps.
Right now however, as the searing sands began to burn at the feline's pawpads due to their idle state, Ang was starting to feel sympathy only for themselves. Because the Somali could swear that they heard something. Or someone.
Whipping their head around so fast, it was amazing that they didn't get immediate whiplash at the sudden and paranoid twitch. Haunches immediately raising at the reaction with ears laying flat to the Somali's head, and suddenly their fears were true. With the warlord's arrival by the border Ang's head began to work on overtime, an overclocked computer that failed to keep up with the speeding surroundings.
'He knew.'
Paranoia began to seep into the feline's bones as visions of being atoned for their sins played out vividly.
'He knew he knew he knew he knew he knew.'
It was uncontrollable and frantic as Ang tried to still their exponentially growing heart-rate. Their frivolous attempts only serving to prove pointless. Besides, how would this man just suddenly know about Angel's double life? It wasn't as if there was much proof beyond the similar names.
"He-hey there um, I- don't believe we met formally?" Trying to maintain a cool and calm composure Angel was trying to play the encounter off as a midday hunt.
-
Levi wasn't too happy with his task then, or that the boy feigned an annoyed persona to keep up with his appearences. Angelpaw didn't know, but supposed that the bobtail would rather be cleaning or practicing, so perhaps Levi was genuinely bored at this point. But it didn't matter, because so was Angelpaw.
The kitsune made their way to the slowly gathering Sunclanners, sparing a glance towards Fall and Robin as they came beside the pair, taking an idle interest in Robin's fact. "There are children around, Levi." A obviously fake gasp accompanied the "shocked" look upon the kitsune's face. Because in reality Angelpaw couldn't care less whether Levi, or anybody for that matter, sweared in front of anybody. They were just words yeah?
(should be studying post, sorry for shit quality ;n;)

Frowning as the young child came into view Angelpaw was only in a spiteful mood because it was buttcrack of dawn, the kitsune rather enjoying a slow and steady start to the day to begin whatever task that required them. Dani's antics with the leaves so early were an annoyance. But kinda cute? The child was evidently invested with his fight against the leaves, was he not aware that they weren't sentient? Eh.
"Hey kid, you uh? Fighting the good fight there?" How did one interact with small children? Angelpaw not only had little experience, but couldn't quite remember what it was like as a child themselves, not very exciting probably.
(rushed + should be studying)

(tf, how did i not see this thread?)
Angelpaw despised the heat, dreaded its rays as it bore down into the kitsune's flesh and just nestled there. The thick insulation of silver fur didn't help in slightest when it came to cooling down either. The Sunclanner often found themselves constantly cleaning themselves to try and evaporate some heat off of their rapidly cooking body, so to see another who appeared to swelter in the heat but did not leave was startling. "You trying to get a tan or something?" The remark hadn't meant to come out as snarky as it did, but Ang didn't backtrack. They just idly observed the other's severed tail and mused.
(rushed + going to school yo)

'I'd step back if I were you.'
The actual fuck? Was Azazel even a threat as a bleeding stump of Sunclanner? Azazel's thought process appeared to jump from one place to the other with how the princess greeted their sister, initially and the revised edition. So Angelpaw doubted whether or not Azazel could hold the mental capacity to hurt Ang or anybody else. Most likely Ang, the kitsune was the only outsider from a different family. But as Kaia had instructed Ang had given the two sisters some room and backed up, looking over to the still pain-gripped Azazel and her plight to stay alive.
Suga's arrival and impromptu lesson in Arcanium blood was startling to say the least. The kitsune instinctively backed up even further at the sudden voice of the commander, a rock getting stuck between their pads and making the Sunclanner hiss in discomfort. Angelpaw had been so distracted however as they turned back the kitsune could really only make out the last part of Suga's explanation; Azazel would need mortal's blood.
To be honest Ang didn't even know why Suga didn't just straight up ask Ang to give up their mortal blood, seen as how the only chance of any more arriving would be if anybody else showed up. But the run around question simply made the vulpine roll their eyes dramatically at the situation and Eleo's offer. "No it's fine," Bringing themselves forwards once again, Angelpaw didn't want to feel guilty if Eleo's blood refused to respond while perfectly mortal Angelpaw just watched on. "I'll do it. Just, I- I don't want to uh, have any sideeffects yeah?" As much as Angelpaw could appreciate vampires and their species, the vulpine would actually rather not. "That kind of thing just isn't in my family genetics." What was a Praelium thing? Being a Scarclanner. Maybe Angelpaw should just stop trying to think too hard altogether. "How does this thing work though?"
-
While technically both Dani and Angelpaw were on a level playing field when it came to ages, being both of apprentice age, the two were both on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Dani had been recently crowned his apprentice status, while Angelpaw was teetering on the edge of Peter Pan-ism. Even still Angelpaw also had the habit of calling practically anybody younger than them 'kid'. Levi, who was only four months younger, could attest to this fact.
"Ah, I see." Nodding along with the younger's story Angelpaw took in the information before glancing towards Suga who had just arrived. Ang was kinda hoping to be relieved of the awkward tension, but apparently not even the father could think of what to do in the presence of a child. "Well don't let us stop you from uh, besting those leaves." On the other hand it wasn't as hard to talk to Levi.
Watching as Lapiz arrived to join the conversation, Ang supposed that the two were more similar in age and the fore would probably have a better conversation than the the two older members currently.
(ninja'd arghhh)
-
Angelpaw was taking much pleasure in seeing the commander's quarters adorned with the copious amounts of sticky notes, mostly because this prank had not happened to the vulpine themselves. That was probably the best part. Besides the clear dedication to his work that Ang could see that Akuma had put into his creation, which was admirable.
Alerted to the mess by Levi's comments, the vulpine came up beside said Sunclanner and just looked around, didn't move to help Suga in his time of need. A mixture of not caring enough and amusement causing the kitsune to merely stand by the doorway while twin tails twitched in amusement. "There is literally a whole entire forest in here and you think Suga's worried about his feng shui?" While Angelpaw wasn't some sort of environmental activist, this act could probably turn anybody into a believer.

you me both cor/tang
its so easy to tell yourself 'just 5 minutes' or 'just 1 hour'
but when you wake up and it's 7am you just,
'hooOoW WW??'
im such a terrible person and havent responded to levi+ang thread because i told myself that it desrves a good response without the pressure of studying for chemistry. but ill just get on that ehoops,,scene tbh vv relatable
-
Angelpaw was here, mostly because they had the obligation to be. The vulpine wasn't too particularly fussed whether or not they took the lesson, because Ang was comfortable in their practices. But perhaps Azazel would be able to produce some teachings that were interesting? Hopefully so, or this was going to be a long meeting.
(lame track)

Listening in on the conversation happening between the three Sunclanners, Angelpaw arrived in a little more 'standard' way on their four legs. But it got the job done. The kitsune was more interested in Crow's laments for a different kind of home and Ang was willing to listen to the other's suggestions. Because after one less than quiet neighbour Angelpaw would kill for some peace and quiet for just one night.
"You me both." Only so many times could Ang endure another sleepless night due to the noise.
(lame post sorry)
