Following in trail of Irene's steps, the scent of Sunclan's familiar members had Angeldust selfishly somewhat at ease; Angel still very much in the belief that they were at heart a Sunclanner through and through. Unable to let go of what they did not deserve. Still despite the general paranoia and disgust for Angeldust felt throughout the population of Sunclan, to be given a chance to catch a glimpse back into Sunclan's well being Angeldust immediately became elated to hear any kind of news. Gareth's departure was a plus, but what Angeldust really wanted to hear was the status of their five other children still sheltered by their birthclan's reign. Ang wanted to know how Avalon was doing, how Stheno was doing - were they okay? Had Gareth been kind to them?
Beck's harsh and unforgiving comments about his former clan had Angeldust side-eyeing the ghost with apathetic fury, Ang's tone drifting towards sarcasm in lieu of Beck's dismissive statements. "Maybe you should wash your mouth out with soap if you cant control your fountain of knowledge." Smiling sweetly, Angel's attention drifted back towards Thea's form in an instant after digressing from the main intentions Ang had.
In the face of Thea's commanding form, Angeldust wasn't sure whether to be assertive or just play a more submissive role in case the typically brash attitude Angeldust held would swiftly get any information on Ang's kids locked behind indignant doors. Maybe Angeldust could just act like a normal being - ew. "How are the kids? Are they safe? Is Avalon still getting into fights?" Cautiousness took over Angel's form, genuine concern for children Ang had been away from for too long taking a hold on their emotions. Any information would be comforting, but Angel didn't want to hear anything negative ether. A paradox really.

Maybe it was too soon to say Angeldust knew how Mementomori acted, his quirks and the way he acted in every situation - but this new and improved look the husky had going on took Angel aback. Confusing. "The new look is kind of, um, dark." Cautiously stepping around not admitting that they found the new look to be completely out of character from the brighter appearances Vinny had previously worn - was it so hard to believe that Vinny had just somehow had an epiphany that black suited him better? Not really. "But it looks good!" Offering a more confident smile in lieu of Angeldust's previous comment, Ang scanned the new look with curiosity. The new name hadn't even registered with the silvery kitsune until Sugar's words had reached Angel's ears.
"Vee dub." Butchering the name on purpose, Angeldust just hoped Vinny hadn't changed his entire personality to fit his new 'look' as well. Playful banter was what Ang lived for. Whatever the circumstances were, "V-Dub" was going to have some time getting used to.

Summer hot rays, Pina Coladas at the wave of a hand, eye candy everywhere; sure Ang was in a relationship, but that was besides the point. The resort sounded wonderful - and yet - Angell was already missing home. Busan had some of the most amazing sights and beaches, why even spend such an extortionate amount of dosh to go somewhere to see a few foreigners? Why subject yourself to a flying tin can for hours on end? Why had Angell even accepted the invite anyways? Hypocrisy brought a flush of hot red to the gently tanned cheeks of Angell, face plastered with sunscreen instead of bb cream today.
Spotting the form of Irene making her way down towards the pool Angell took sometime to pull down the stuffy navy rash vest covering the new one-piece bought in hopes of taking it out for a spin at the resort.
Buying online was never something you could ever put your full trust into getting a quality product, and not being able to try on the item obviously had its downsides, but the product in which Angell had received was so ridiculously undersized it was trivial. It was as if the thing was made for children! Angell was most certainly not children-sized anymore, but didn't have any other alternatives to the hastily bought swimsuit. So the frustrated customer had, in lieu of this, taken a navy rash vest to cover the abhorred mistake and called it day.
Brown, contactless, eyes shifted around the pool area's surroundings in hopes to catch a glimpse of the familiar sight of their friend and her own new swimsuit. Adorned by the floral bikini which looked so pretty on Irene's lithe form, a second wave of hot red flush came to the traveler's cheeks as their own appearance came to mind; looking more like a washed up surfer rather than a cute sunbather.
Bare feet felt horrible upon the burning grounds around the pool, edging closer towards the chair next to Irene's towel before said chair was promptly snatched up by a man which Angell hadn't seen before. 'The fuck?' Scowling deeply at the stolen chair Angell felt rather awkward standing around the chair in which no longer Ang could take, shuffling around bare feet for a few moments before abruptly ending the tortuous embarrassment by taking the next seat on the row - separated from their friend's taken seat by another odd man. He was youthful in appearance, but took to mutilating his newspaper instead of reading it and hid his eyes behind dark shades. Angell wasn't sure how to feel. Settling down with an indignant huff escaping the foreigner's lips and pushing back now medium length black hair melodramatically - chocolate hues studied the odd man valiantly trying to figure out whether he was truly focused on his bizarre activity, or creeping on others. It was more interesting than doing nothing Ang supposed.

If given the simple choice of living in this world with the company of siblings, or to have then vanquished from this reality - it probably wouldn't take Angeldust long to decide. For every spawn of Angeldust's parents had only ever spawned these innate feeling somewhere between jealousy and hatred; the effects varying from each sibling.
Finnishwar and Sugaredsun's unfortunate "mistake" had been the start of these snowballing feelings, throwing Angelpaw's world into a spiral of jealous fits and inordinate anger whenever their eyes ever had the misfortune of meeting the little shits' forms. Those small frail frames doted on so willingly and lovingly by the one individual in which Angelpaw could garner absolutely no attention from because of Bill. Doted on by Angelpaw's mentor, someone who had loved Angeldust on a deeper level than every other commoner Sunclanner who wanted to see odd Angelpaw grow into a "respectable individual". They were too loved for what they stood for. Mistakes. Angeldust didn't even feel bad when they started to drop off like flies, one by one the litter in which spawned by Angeldust's only parent and father figure began to grow sick and wither - Ang was free from their treacherous grips.
When Angeldust had first met Jerseyboy the initial distaste to his laid-back and confident attitude left a bitter taste in the kitsune's mouth, leading to some nastier words and less than sibling-like thoughts. They were almost too much like each other: confident to the point of narcissism and quick to judge - it was like pushing two negatively charged magnets together. Yet after figuring out that Jersey was also a child born to Bill, the epiphany had Ang almost elatedly gleeful to have their indignant beliefs validated. All of Angeldust's siblings were inherently flawed.
Still thoughts ate away in the mind of the silvery hued kitsune, swimming around the musing that Jersey could somehow be someone that Angel could confine in. They were siblings, they shared a father, a sick father but a father none the less. Ang never would bare the physical reminders of how their father hurt his own children. Only the stigma surrounding his reign.
These thoughts became too loud for the serene snowscape plain's serene surroundings, Angeldust digging their sore and tired paws into the ground with enough force to shift the malleable soil beneath. A small disgruntled huff escaped the parted maw of the kitsune, their blue gaze drifting on the horizon as thoughts of family which Angeldust could happily forget swam through their buzzing mind. Angeldust had made their own family now - they meant everything.

Words giving Angel the all clear to join their friend upon his - probably much less windy - balcony were met with gracious paws eagerly flurrying into motion to scramble upon the raised platform. Blue hues took in the surrounding area from this height now, the sights something elevated with the extra field of view but bittersweet; pretty, but nothing like the beaches back in Sunclan.
Head and gaze ripping from the view from the balcony's height back towards the form of Vinny beside the kitsune, Ang frowned for a moment before returning to a neutral countenance. "You know I've been to Blizzardclan countless times in my life, but never had I imagined myself living here though. It's like I'm going to wake up from a dream any second now, but it keeps on going." Huffing wistfully, Angeldust blamed their suddenly melancholy nature on the hormones playing with their mind. And the cold.

Initial paranoid fears overrunning the covertly pregnant mother's mind like a virus had ultimately come to prove true; Rhysinus had been born without his father's gaze, scoldings, love. And yet, it was as if this child was without the knowledge that he even had a father. Which was preposterous of course; Rhysinus was such a bright young kid that it was no doubt that he already had full understanding in how he was created. For better or for worse. Then maybe without this sentient being displaying his shower of affections it had depraved and desensitised Rhysinus to the presence of a male figure in his life - and in some sort of selfish way Angeldust hoped that was the case really. Because Ang wasn't sure Rhy was ever going to have a father figure.
In this moment, watching on as their young son tried to grapple with the big wide world before him a sudden shock of innate concern came over the kitsune. Running through their veins and spurring the Blizzardclanner into action as Angel's larger form came to Rhy's aid. Resting beneath the tree in which their young son had found himself fighting with, Angeldust couldn't quite say they had been missing this part of parenthood; the constant struggle to keep their children from hurting themselves every two seconds. It was an upward hill battle that Angel was fighting, but wouldn't give up on.
"Honey, let's not send mum into cardiac arrest okay?" Concern laced the tone, dripping from Angeldust maw as all the kitsune could do was watch on as their son grasped on to the last centimeters of branch holding onto his minuscule weight. As Angel's sapphire gaze caught the sight of another child just older than Rhysinus, it was oddly comforting to see the little critter's concern for his clanmate grappling with life's dangers too young.

Pride still stung slightly at the way Angeldust had to be treated with the concern of other, rather than being able to take care of themselves in the situation that they had already been through before. Except this birth had been such a breeze in comparison. Still though, when Nicklaus came over to offer the mother medicine to make recovery go smoother it wasn't as if Angel was going to decline the offerings; Angeldust taking the medicine graciously and willing their effects to take hold as soon as possible. "Hah, yeah, thank Helios." Agreeing in short sharp pants, Angeldust did really appreciate the second pair of eyes keeping an eye on the health of Angeldust' sole son from the litter. It had been acutely distressing last time to be unable to gauge how healthy all six of Angel's children were.
Sapphire hues snapped back towards the entrance of the medical bay's room, with a gaze softening at the sight of someone Angeldust had been rather hoping to see. Irene. Angeldust's close friend hadn't been able to see her other nieces and nephews when the first batch had been born, and to have her by Angel's side as Irene's nephew was brought into this world was like a blessing. The slightly tired mother beamed a bright smile towards their friend's form, drained limbs moving around slightly to allow Irene a good look at her new and unnamed nephew. "I'm alright don't worry, I'm just glad that this little one is too." Chuckling in lieu of the dismissal of Irene's worried remarks for Angeldust, blue hues again shifted to somewhere now behind the doting form of Irene. Another who Angeldust had been laying in hope would make his way over had arrived.
It wasn't something that crossed Angel's mind Mementomori was someone who wasn't quite as closer, someone who might not even be aware of the father of the child. Vinny's presence was something more than that to Angeldust; he was a comforting and familiar form to bring Ang down from the hormone highs and stop them from crashing back into reality with a wave of melancholy. Sure nature wasn't something the silvery hued kitsune could ever escape, but could at least damper.
Before Angeldust had even the chance to answer Vinny's question and publicly announce the name in which Angeldust had already decided upon, it was as if the small child was protesting against the naming of himself. His shrill cries reaching the ear of his mother and filling them with concern as Ang sprung into action. "Shh," Gentle tones drifted out from the kitsune's maw as the vulpine's soft muzzle came down to meet the small and frail form of their son crying out for attention. "His name is Rhysinus." A smile came again to grace the countenance of Angel, their gaze drifting up again to meet Vinny's and Irene's own.
Beck's appearance puzzled Angel, their mind buzzing with paranoid thoughts and vision blurry in the face of the ghost's form. He wasn't causing any trouble, but seen as how the ghost obviously took a distaste to the former Sunclanner, Angeldust felt more protective of their young child around him in such a hormone high. "Mhmm," Offering only this answer to Beck's remarks Angeldust recoiled at Beck's inquisitive gaze. Honestly after the first children every came to understand from the very beginning, it hadn't quite crossed Angeldust mind that some would be left wondering who the absent father of Rhysinus was.

The novelty of a new leader at the head of every meeting hadn't quite worn off yet, spreading a feeling of general unease through the silvery kitsune's veins. But wallowing in self-pity was gross and Ang wasn't gross, so the Blizzardclanner promptly shook off the problematic feelings and came over to place themselves by the familiar sight of Irene. Before taking everything in.
Names of those who had either left or stood down were oddly familiar, but Angeldust had a hard time putting a face to many of them - the kitsune still feeling like a newcomer due to their lack of social interactions. But the events brought to light sounded okay, and a medical event was nothing that Angeldust could just pass up.

Blizzardclan didn't exactly have many medics anymore, and to be honest Angldust wasn't quite sure why. The medical branch was a wonderful way to invest your life's energy and purpose into something that would actually yield results rather than mindless bloodshed and warfare. But either way, Blizzardclan was lacking and in result Aleksei had offered an open invitation to this event rather than restricting it to promoted medics. Ergo, Angeldust was here. "Greetings, I'm Angeldust. I'm not a medic of Blizzardclan, but was the head of medicine in Sunclan for many months." Too many months.

(crappy mobile post)
Birth was something that Angeldust had before just thought upon as a chore, a task, a few patients to take care of an assist in their dire time of need. Nothing more, nothing less. Countless times before as a budding apprentice and fully qualified medic had Angeldust been a witness to births in many forms - Ang had even been there to aid Suga's kids in birth complications. But it was different when it was your own children.
Angeldust couldn't quite say what the experience was like for a father, but being the one to bring these creatures you've brought to life, had growing and multiplying within you for months, it wasn't anything someone could easily explain with words. Except probably; tiring.
Hearing the frantic cries pinpointed as the familiar tones of Cannon, the silvery hued kitsune instantaneously remembered how heavily pregnant the boy was and came immediately to serve any assistance required. "Hey, hey, it's me." Adopting a calmer and more seemingly empathetic tone, from what Ang could see the birth had only just begun for the poor expectant father. "Take deep breaths, push and stay calm for your little guys okay?" Settling down beside Cannon's heavily breathing form, Angeldust felt inclined to stay with the expectant parent through his birth and prayed that others might come with other helpful items.

Safe. Sound. Angeldust supposed that they should happy and content with this simple answer, Thea's patience no doubt wearing thin for traitors demanding answers from those they betrayed. Yet beneath Thea's vague and elusive words were truths unspoken and shrouded with a thin veil of secrecy - the silvery kitsune just knew it. Knew Thea couldn't possibly placate the anxious mind with words hastily drawn together. The very vague and undescriptive recount of Angel's beautiful Avalon's capture caused paws to instinctively curl inwards, pressure digging into the sides of Ang's legs as the thought of little Avalon being capture - tortured by the worst of criminals had the mother's mind abuzz with horrid visions. Were these the people who had just mere days before traveled to Blizzardclan to announce their "enlightened" ways? Angeldust would have to make the sick child abuser who did this to Avalon's innocence pay. Along with Prim's.
"I want to see them, I want to see Levi." Exclaiming the sudden demands without a trace of warning, the outburst had escaped Angel's lips before the kitsune could even process them. Still, Ang stood beside their demands with confidence and certainty. "I know, I know that I'm exiled or whatever Gareth put in place, but I'm not asking to come back - I just want to see my children and comatose partner." Hesitancy came washing over Angeldust's words as the very real possibility of rejection and consequent arguments ensuing the rejection came to mind. Ang was not oblivious to the keen eye placed upon themselves in fear of the potential political drama Angeldust could cause, and while the request was risky - if Angel never tried, the Blizzardclanner feared they might never see their family ever again.

Firsts were always something inherently special, electrifying, something you'd never forget and in turn first loves are always the strongest.
Circumstances at birth, the friends in which people who came before Angeldust had ultimately shaped the small apprentice's end point, but not the journey in which the Sunclanner would take. Before long after growing into a young and easily influenced child Angeldust had been bestowed Suga, the head medic, as a mentor determining how exactly Angel would spend their life. Cramming medical knowledge and assisting the more experienced medic in their daily activities - it was mundane as it seemed. But the one thing keeping the kitsune going in lieu of the countless herb milkshakes and bandages applied were the lessons every one and while that would open up this new and exciting world which beckoned forth the kitsune - the world of cells, dna, enzymes and so much undiscovered. It was for these brief moments of pure bliss in light of the exciting knowledge which kept the apprentice inspired and learning at the crack of dawn. Assisting many more patients, heading the first aid treatments, until Angel had eventually taken over their mentor's position.
How old had Angeldust been when they had received this item? The question mystified the kitsune, the memories of playing with specific toy spanning back as far as the kitsune could even remember. Back before the child was an apprentice, back when that oddly happy man had been the first to open up a group of children's world to the concept of skeletons and anatomy. How Angel wished they could even remember that man's name now, yet all that remained in the dusty memory being that benign smile and the way his paws made ample work of the crow in which he had stripped clean of muscle and flesh. The pristine bone so hard, the way he had explained this new and foreign concept called bone marrow, every spellbinding piece of information he spoke, Angeldust thought upon the memory with a special kindred spirit. It was only simple though, but in spite of that Angeldust still felt that same excited and hungry feeling when they looked upon it's crooked and broken form. It's wings bent in way impossible for a bird to do so and looking rather ghastly for it's intended use, but it had survived all these months.
A crow's bones, Angeldust knew they were not real but that did not deter from the elusive nature of the toy. It was Angeldust's first. First binding item for the kitsune to the world of science in which they had dedicated their whole entire life towards back in Sunclan, and now just ignored. Like a bad memory. Was it such a bad memory after all? Sure the individuals in which Angeldust had found bliss in shared their love with were now either gone or hated Angel, but science was an indifferent being - it didn't judge.
Sitting mere meters from their hut's entrance sat the silvery hued kitsune, their mind completely absorbed with the mindless task they had at hand and paws filled with the crow toy like it was some kind of unsolved puzzle. With missing bones it almost was. Yet still, paws worked with the love and tender care of a romantic, and sapphire eyes scanned across the toy's form with a keen eye and oblivious to the world around them.
