    Okay, so here he is. This guy has 7/8 of Kaleidoscope's soul, the other 1/8 belonging to Greyscale. Do you think his name should remain Kaleidoscope? It would sort of make sense, since he isn't aware that he has only part of a soul. He'll look somewhat different, but recognizable. I'm honestly really excited about this guy, though input would be nice.

    Kaleidoscope smiled - an actual, genuine smile. He was beginning to worry the clan had been replaced with unfamiliar idiots. He nodded, listening to what she had to say? Lunalight was dead? So he had missed a lot. He wondered how the feline had died, though decided it wasn't the best time to ask.
    "So I guess I don't know as many people as I had hoped," he replied with a grunt.

  • Woof, Hiss, Quack ~ Open ~ Animal AU

    The zorilla was sitting in a nearby tree, observing the NPCs with minimal interest. He shifted his attention to a small ladybug crawling up his paw, though lost interest quickly when it flew away. Eventually giving in to his boredom, Kaleidoscope teleported down to where a few of his clanmates had randomly gathered.
    "What're you idiots doing?" He asked in his usual grumpy tone, raising a paw in greeting.

    Pandora might have claimed it to be calm, but Kaleidoscope didn't see her tone as calm at all. Wait - Lunalight had children? The thought of the pathetic feline with a mate and children made the demon laugh out loud.
    "You're Luna's child?" he asked between snickers, "Never thought I'd live to the day I see that." Which was ironic, since he was immortal. Still, the thought baffled him. "Your mother was the reason I came here in the first place, so to speak." Only now did he address her hostility towards him. "A little salty about mama's death, aren't we?" he asked in a mocking tone. The old Kaleidoscope was back.

  • when i was your golden boy // open, pool party

    Kaleidoscope, unlike the others, didn't head in the pool as soon as he saw it, for he soon realized there were more important things to attend to. The demon made his way over to the popsicles, gingerly unwrapping one before tasting it. He was obsessed with sweets, to say the least. Sure, he probably could have conjured up some himself, but why do that when there were already ones up for the taking? Only when he was done with his treat did he consider the pool. That hadn't been there before, had it? Regardless, it was here now. Kaleidoscope set his glasses down next to the popsicles, almost as a gesture of self-proclaimed ownership, and sent on paw tentatively into the water. The change of temperature made him shiver a bit, though he got over it quickly. Eventually, his back half was submerged, while his front paws remained clinging to the wall of the pool, fearing the inevitable moment where he was forced to bring his neck - and possibly even his head - into the water. He wasn't necessarily scared, no, he just didn't like the feeling it brought. The demon finally scrunched his eyes shut and, taking a overly-deep breath, let go. Instantly he felt the cool water rush over his head, and he shivered again, though quickly regained control of his body and paddled back tot he surface. He was panting a bit, for he had been underwater longer than anticipated, but he was fine. He was fine! He let out a triumphant woop, smiling, and sank back into the water.

    Kaleidoscope vaguely remembered playing this once, though forgot how the game worked. Oh well, he supposed he'd figure it out quickly.
    "I guess I'll play," he replied hesitantly, wondering what he had gotten himself into.

    Kaleidoscope rolled his eyes. He's seen people he loved die in front of him, too. It isn't that bad after a while, compared to some other things he's witnessed. And he wasn't oblivious to her mourning - he just didn't care.
    "Just because I knew her doesn't mean we were friends," he grumbled in reply, though she had already left. He turned to the others silently, waiting for a response. He already knew what they'd say - 'oh Kaleidoscope, don't be so mean.' 'Oh Kaleidoscope, can't you tell she's gone through a lot?' He could tell, and he's been through a lot, too. It didn't bother him anymore. Or at least he'd continue to tell himself that.

    Kaleidoscope originally only saw the bear. It was a bit weird, granted, but not incredibly odd. He remained quiet as he approached, and it was then he noticed the possum sitting on her back. That definitely wasn't natural. Shouldn't he be her meal or something?
    "Well, this is interesting," he mused with a toothy grin, eyeing the two with renewed interest. "A bear that carries her meal on her back." He knew it wasn't the intention, obviously, though rather enjoyed mocking others regardless.

    //Windclan? Did you mean Stormclan?
    Even though he's had a millennia of experience, Kaleidoscope was horrible at dealing with children. SO when the happened across the small fawn waiting near the border, the demon had no clue what to do.
    "Uh," he began awkwardly, staring down at the little beast as if it had just crawled out of Hell before his very eyes. Well, if that had actually happened, he wouldn't be scared of it anymore. "Hi." He looked around, searching for someone, anyone, who would take this problem off his hands. Maybe Blazestar knew what to do. she was good with little brats, wasn't she? "Anyone?"

    "You're asking me?" Kaleidoscope replied, glancing at Spiderpaw momentarily. How was he supposed to know how the thing was? He couldn't read minds, and certainly wasn't an expert with kids.

    In a sense, this was also Kaleidoscope's first meeting. He had been to many a meeting in the past, though this would be his first one since he had rejoined. He wondered what it had in store - maybe he'd be mentioned.

  • Moving emotions : earthquake

    Kaleidoscope, however, had been awake when the earthquake first began. He often took nighttime walks, to escape from the rest of the world and reflect on the past. It was a bit cheesy, sure, but the demon enjoyed it. However, his moments of peace were interrupted by a sudden shaking. He had felt this before. The demon let out a yelp, teleporting away. However, he had accidentally teleported to an unstable tree, which shook wildly in the earthquake. Now all he could do is cling to the branch he was on and hope for the best. Luckily, nothing happened to his branch, though a particularly large quake managed to shake him off the tree, sending him tumbling to the ground. He landed funny on one leg, and it stung, but otherwise he was fine. Finally the earthquake stopped, and Kaleidoscope hurried back to camp where he spotted Blazestar, Featherpaw, and a few NPCs.
    "Are you guys okay?" he asked, sounding seriously worried for once. He glared down at the ground as if it was his enemy.

    Any response from Kaleidoscope would most likely be immediate distaste, regardless of they clan the visitor originated from. The demon was the first to arrive at the scene, and he narrowed his eyes at the sight of someone waiting at the border. More useless, yet mandatory, interaction for him. Great.
    "Who are you?" he asked, his tone making it clear he didn't want to be here.

    A joiner who spelled of Boneclan. This would be interesting. Kaleidoscope approached the two silently, sitting down next to Pipitpaw and scowling at the tiger. Hopefully he didn't take it personally, as the demon reaction this way to basically everyone, though it wouldn't matter to him if he did. Probably.

  • THE STORM IN OUR HEARTS ¤ BLOODCLAN RAID

    Oh, yes. Yes yes yes yes yes. Kaleidoscope knew he shouldn't be so happy about being raided, but he had been waiting for a chance to fight for what seemed like eternity. Grinning, the demon would teleport to the group that had arrived - Bloodclan, he smelled, though it was mixed with the hint of other anticlans.
    "Yo, b*tches!" He hollered, the grin still present, as he managed to conjure up a few of his signature projectiles. He hadn't used those in a long, long time, at least for battle. He shot two to each foe, waiting impatiently for their attack.
