    Outside of the clan's territory there was the soft stepping of large paws. Amber optics looked up at the colorful beachside town with interest. It wasn't exactly impressive by any means, but it was simply pleasing to look at. It looked like a safe haven. In such a place they could probably live a life without too many external forces getting in the way of their hobbies. They could go about creating their inventions, and they could share them with the other citizens. Well, that is if there were any others among the warmly colored buildings. As they walked they arrived at the border, which showed that there . It wasn't visible, but they could smell it. "My name is Lyn," they said in a half-shout, hoping that someone would hear them. "I'd like to live here, if I may."

    The wild cat tilted their head, then continued to speak. "Nice to meet you... Dean Karma," they said, not so sure which name they'd prefer to call him. If anything, they didn't have any sort of bias towards either names. At least they know someone from the town, even if he did seem a little strange. Well, it wasn't as if they were any more normal. "Also, if I may ask, what exactly is this place called?"

    "My name is Lyn," the lynx said as they arrived at the meeting. "If I may ask, what is your name? I didn't hear it before." From what they saw, their personalities seemed to be quite the opposites. It wasn't something that annoyed them, though. It was a simple observation. While they were more calm and reserved, the canine was enthusiastic and playful. They weren't so sure whether that was simply because he is a child or if it was genuinely a part of his character.

    "Sunclan... the name does make sense," they commented to their self. The lynx then looked at the smaller cat curiously, seeing as he seemed to be floating. "Also, Chastiefol, how exactly are you levitating like that?" they asked. "Is there some sort of machine in that pillow of yours?"

    The grey feline wasn't so sure whether to be impressed or disappointed. It wasn't as if they didn't have any magic of their own, but it blocked off a conversation topic. If anything, they were hoping to talk more about technology and such. But then they heard the cat give them a question. "I don't need any help," they told Chastiefol. "I'm quite sure I'll be able to get around without too much difficulty."

  • YOU WAITED SO LONG | open, stargazing


    Lyn sat down, looking up at the speckled night sky. It felt peaceful, as if nothing wrong was with the world. For just moving to Sunclan not too long ago, they felt content with the place. They didn't have an attachment to the place or the people, but they didn't plan on leaving. The sky was as clear as that of their old home. Though they used to live in the city, it was deserted and unkind, the vast majority of buildings being nothing but rubble. There were gangs and simple crime-loving creatures who were hostile to anyone they would come across, no matter who they were. There were many resources for their robotic and historical hobbies, but they weren't too fond of being required to live in fear. That was what already made this place better than the other.

    Lyn walked over to the unfamiliar canine, who everyone else seemed to know. The reason she was crying, they didn't know, but they might as well get to know her. "I'm not so sure who you are, exactly, but it's nice to meet you," they greeted calmly despite the overtly emotional attitudes of their clanmates. "No...Noe... Noelani, right? My name's Lyn, by the way."

    The lynx walked up to what appeared to be the border of a group. Like Sunclan, the place looked safe, or at least not easily endangered. Surprisingly, it was in good shape yet. They may be able to go about partaking in their hobbies here in peace, and maybe share some of their inventions with the community. "My name is Lyn," they half-shouted, as to make sure someone would hear them. "I'd like to be a citizen of this place, if I may."

    From what it looked like, this newcomer was once a member of Sunclan. Well, everyone else was familiar with him. Though others had strong emotions towards him, the lynx lacked such opinions. They didn't know what to think of him just yet. "Who are you?"" they asked, tilting their head. "My name's Lyn. I'm new to this place."

    The feline cringed a little at Santa referring to them as "miss," but they knew it must have been a simple mistake. "Thanks for letting me in," they said. "Please don't call me miss, though." They weren't all too prideful, but they simply wanted to get their introduction out of the way. They then noticed the offer made to them by the pink feline. "Oh don't need anything, but thanks anyways." They weren't in need of anything, and they weren't all too hungry, so they might as well let Raphael have his kill. About the prayer book for... Herthe, was it? If anything they were an atheist, therefore they weren't interested in reading religious scriptures unless for research purposes. They then turned to Duchess. "Nice to meet you. I'm not so sure if I expected to meet the leader right away." They gave a small smile as they said it, as a way to show they meant no ill will by it. They then gave a small nod to James and DB as a friendly greeting.

    As more Sanctum members came to greet them, they started to feel a little awkward. They looked at the small canine cowering under the leader, gently taking the beans from her paw with a simple yet slightly awkward thanks. They then turned to Icenine, whose comment they found rather strange. "I-I have no intentions to harm you," they said with blunt honesty before turning to greet Spanishlullaby. "...Nice to meet you."

    "My name's Lyn," they told her bluntly, not really feeling the need to add anything to the introduction. There was not really any reason to give her any information other than their name for now, since they were rather new to the place and wasn't very familiar with the people or the territory as of yet.

    A guessing game? It sure sounded interesting, and it was kind of an opportunity to test a bit of the warrior's knowledge of historical figures. "My name's Lyn," they said, before going on. "One time I created a robot in order to... deface, I guess you can say... a statue of a specific colonizer from Europe. Can you guess which one it was?" There are many European colonizers which they had a full blown hatred towards, though there was one which was very well known among anyone who has ever read a history book. All in all, they expected this question to be rather easy.

    "Oh, thanks," they replied to her latter comment. They were confused as of if she actually thought that or if she possibly feared them. They'd rather not have people be scared of them, especially if they're people they don't want to put in harm's way. "I haven't gotten your name."

    "You've never learned about history?" they asked before continuing. "That statue was of Christopher Columbus, which was literally put on a pedestal he didn't deserve. But he was a human, so I can see why you wouldn't be able to learn about him. In short, he came to the Americas and nearly wiped out everyone there through spread of diseases and cruelty towards those he and his group of settlers came across."

    "Hm... what's your favorite type of machine?" they asked. "Do you prefer vehicles, computers, maybe robots?" They presumed he may have an interest in robotics because of his robotic foreleg, but they couldn't be entirely sure why he had it. Did he lose it? If that was the case, they hoped that it wouldn't bring back bad memories of they were to bring it up.

    Being still rather new yet, Lyn decided to introduce theirself. "My name is Lyn," they said before telling them more. "I like to make robots and I'm very interested in history. Unfortunately, all I can really access is U.S. history."


    // hey que pasa (excuse my awful spanish) I'm Catulet and I have a lot of OCs, Lyn being one of them. I basically have two stories, the one Lyn is a part of which I'm too lazy to write and some weird magical person story (which I'm also too lzy to write). in short, the first one is simply a story about assassinating an evil president that doesn't take itself too seriously. the second one is about an alternate dimension where people from history and sometimes even characters from tales and such are reborn as almost entirely different people with certain powers. I also really like cats and cacti and I like anime, cartoons, and a select few musicals

    Lyn didn't have much of a concept of the void or where it may be. For all they knew, it was a dark and empty place with no stars, no sun, and no planets. It sounded peaceful, actually. Yet there was someone before them, claiming to be a void, or the void. Are there more voids out there, or is there just this one who goes by the name Lirim? Could they jump through them if they were not in their physical form? They couldn't be so sure of what the answers may be.
