    TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — He, for the first time in a while, had been in the mood to go out and at least try to hunt. There wasn't much to look for, but Riverclan wasn't going to recover on nothing. Besides, some mice or some other kind of animal might be scurrying around the territory, out of range of the water. But as fate would have it, clouds rolled in and choked up the blue sky, shoving out the light shining down. His eyes also wandered up and he quietly cursed with a shake of his head. Seemed like his plans had been foiled.

    Wrenbreeze turned, attention landing on the three standing around camp, slightly puzzled as he watched one of them scramble around like they were chasing after something. He approached, standing beside his sister Larchfang and sharing her amusement when he realized what Splashpaw was doing. "It seems Larchfang is true. Half-way there, kid," he teased along. He and his sister shared the same kind of humor, but she was probably a bit nicer when she joked around. Oh well.

    rookpaw,
    "Well, he's kind of a stick in the mud. I'll tease him a bit from time to time, but we don't squabble nearly as much as me and Magpiepaw. Still, even if we fight now and then, I deeply care for him. I even consider him a friend, even though I obviously get on his nerves. I'm not the bravest in the world, I know that, but I would protect him if it ever came down to it,"

    magpiepaw,
    "It's really entertaining how fired up he gets. That's mostly why I pick on the kid, because he has such a fire. Yeah, he's super annoying, but he's a good kid. He just has his morals in the wrong place. Like Rookpaw-and all my siblings-I care a lot for him. I'd protect him with my life, if I had to,"

    deerclaw,
    "I mean, I care a lot for her, but she really gets on my nerves. She's like an older, more responsible version of Magpiepaw, always getting on my tail. Even so, I would definitely protect her if I ever needed to,"

    larchfang,
    "OPINION"

    rainwatcher,
    "I really like Rainwatcher. He's super smart, and I respect him, even though I don't show it very well. Even so, I don't know him very well, and I would like to. I'm very curious about what's he's like when he isn't annoyed or angry at me. But he can be really annoying himself. Sometimes we'll just bicker with one another, which I'm used to doing with other people a lot,"

    mistpaw,
    "Meh, I don't know him that well. But I guess I should, given he's my apprentice. For now, I'm neutral about him,"

    cougarstar,
    "I really do respect Cougarstar a lot. I mean, who doesn't? She's the ideal leader-smart, strong, and confident in her decisions. She's the person I want to be. Like any of my clan-mates probably would, I would protect her with my life, even though she probably will never need protecting,"

    owldapple,
    "Owldapple? I don't know much about him. All I know is that he's Cougarstar's mate, and if he can earn her respect like that, then I guess I respect him, too,"

    i just found this and-
    i love mist's opinion on wren oml

    i mean wren would probably like be a sort of brother-figure??
    but he'd also feel like he has enough siblings already lmao also with the whole 'i like your brother' thing too

    (c) advo

    wren is my pride and joy rn, and i wanna get him out there and what not even tho i kinda suck at private threads lmao?? i just want my secretly depressed son to be happy

    he's basically an arrogant prick that picks on those who are younger than him. he likes to joke around a lot, and despite his confidence, he's actually a big coward?? he's also super depressed and has low self-esteem bc of his father's death and mother's disappearance. he's really just a big softie hiding behind a big and bad personality so he won't be hurt again

    anyway he's open to;;
    - friends
    - enemies
    - frenemies
    - interactions with cats from other clans (he doesn't really like the other clans, especially tc)
    - one-sided crush
    - adoptive parents/parental figures bc he has daddy/mommy issues
    - other adoptive family members
    - showing his sweeter side
    - any interactions with plot
    - long-term/major plots

    iffy about;;
    - capture
    - love plots (he's semi-open rn)

    closed to;;
    - death
    - litters
    - maiming

    if you're not sure, suggest something and i may or may not accept!!

    TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Amber eyes surveyed the leader as she took her stance, her subordinate coming up to stand before her. A small smile was hinted on his face for a split moment. Even as the smirk vanished, there was still a glint in his eyes, humorous and desperate to show itself. But he knew now that he had more responsibility, and that maybe, there was no more room to be a joking mess. Despite the longing in his chest, the inheritance of his father, he forced a netural face. "I'll take one, Cougarstar," he spoke evenly, his face broken by a smile once again. He simply couldn't hold himself back.

    now wren has to prove he doesn't hate him aaa-

    what if wren mistook it for him 'having thoughts'
    and decided to teach him the birds and the bees

    wren: you see, when a tom and a she-cat love each other very much-

    TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Unlike him, his pelt had bristled, skin tingled with rage, when they were refused at the Gathering. They were selfish, denying them of the territory they needed, while they were well-fed and without their ribs peeking out from underneath their coats. But he supposed that he should have taken Cougarstar much more seriously. She had said her words and planned to keep them. A promise had been sewn into her tongue, a promise he hadn't recognized at first. Now he was rigid as he looked on at the leader.

    Wrenbreeze, despite his outward appearance, was not a courageous tom. He had lucked into the position of deputy, earning his clan-mates' ignorance. He was a better actor than he had ever expected himself to be. But he hung his head, shame dashing across his mind, fear and anxiety tainting his chest. He took in a deep breath, filling his lungs, before letting it go. His claws flexed into dirt and the earth seeping between his toes helped to ground him. Taking careful steps forward, not trusting his shaking legs, he came to stand near Cougarstar.

    He opened his mouth to dismiss Mistpaw, certain that he was not fit to fight, but quickly shut his lips. While he was the younger's mentor, he wasn't the person to tell him what to do and what not to do. His elder brother could do that. Turning away, he steadied his eyes on the horizon, trying to focus on elsewhere than the moment now.

    TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — A hearty chuckle shook his chest, grinning at the female. Cougarstar, despite her gruff attitude at times, only cared for the well-being of her clan and loved ones, this he had come to learn since he became deputy. He shared a mutual want, only desiring the best for his clan-mates. "Hey, I was only smiling, empress," he teased lightly, a light-hearted smile still on his lips. Once he'd been released from her grip, he scurried off to round up a patrol.

    [center]

    TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — He had been ordered to set out a patrol, and he would do just that. He was a bit irritated, however, that he would have to traverse along the border of a clan he hated. None really knew why he disliked Thunderclan so much, and all he really offered was that they were 'selfish and proud.' Many would say that he should join them, but reality would disagree, as he was quite the opposite.

    "Warriors who would like to patrol Thunderclan's border with me, gather around," he called out. Once at least three warriors-and possibly their apprentices-stepped forward, they'd head off.
