currently, cass is a member of blizzardclan.

not much is known about cass' species or origin. despite her seeming to have a cat's body, although, the one thing that makes her stand out the most is her eyes. cass has white, glowing, blank eyes. she doesn't speak much of it, often not answering questions about her when asked.

truth is, cass isn't truly a cat. she's just a shape-shifting creature, who's original state is comparable to a dark blob of slime. inside her rests a glowing orb, which is what appears as her eyes. damage to that orb is similar to damaging her vital organs. when she's in the form of a cat, she grows a layer of muscle, flesh, and fur. she is solid enough to seem like a normal cat. since cass herself can't grow eyes, the glowing orb to her replaces them. they are what appears to be her white, glowing eyes. over her 'eyes' lays a protective film, though anything sharp could break through it with enough force, which she can get really hurt if they're damaged too much. cass isn't fond of sharing her species, as she just wants to fit in with everyone else. she will freely be in her original state or shift into different (similar-sized) creatures if she is comfortable enough with a specific person. although, she tends to hide her abilities more often than not. generally, she prefers to keep it a secret, even from the closest of her friends.

something to note about cass is that she has no internal organs or blood. although, her body still reacts similarly if you were to cut through her skin. in reaction, the goo-like substance she is pretty much made out of will seep out. while she can technically block it back up, the parts that were lost are gone and she can't regain them. if she were to get attacked enough and lose enough substance, her orb-like core will be exposed. she can easily be killed if it's exposed completely. although, since it is at her eyes currently, it is in reach of others. she has a strong enough film developed around it to protect it from a few blows, though it is exposed otherwise. in addition, if you were to manage to cut off or rip off a limb of hers, it will revert back to its original state and cass she has no way of recovering that specific part of her that is lost, though can still get that limb back. (such as, the actual mass that was chopped/ripped off is gone, but she can get her limb back when given time to shift a part of her body into one/change her body composition to fit it.)

a second thing to note about cass is her unusual hunger. she will eat just about anything, whether or not it's deemed edible by anyone else. she claims to just love food and eating, though she does have a second reason for this. cass can grow the outer-slime layer to her by eating, so she'll do it a lot if she's either planning on changing her shape to something big (which is rare), or if she needs to recover from serious injuries. despite her having access to prey, she picked up the habit of eating weird stuff in the past, though never explained to anyone why that is.

cass is a shapeshifter, who takes form of a domestic black cat. she's rather large, weighing in at twenty-five pounds. although, she has a rather slender for her weight and size. her tail and legs are long as well, making running and jumping pretty easy for her. the thing that stands out about her the most is her eyes. her eyes are large, colored in a blank white, though the thing that stands out the most of them is that they glow. the glow to her eyes seems to carry over to her mouth, seeming to glow slightly in there as well. it's somewhat noticeable when cass talks, though doesn't come up nearly as bright as her eyes. she doesn't appear to have any scars or significant markings, though she still tends to stand out a bit. she gives off a bit of a ghostly vibe, which has been known to put some others off.

when it comes to personality, cass can be a bit of an odd case to some. the first thing that you'll notice about cass is that she's quiet. she seems to only talk when she feels that it's appropriate, or if she actually has something to say. she generally talks more around her friends and generally thrives off of talking to them, though cass is someone who can be hard to gain the trust of. cass has trust issues, often thinking people are only befriending her to either betray her in the future, or to use her for something. because of this, she is very analytical of other's words and actions. there will be occasions where cass will let her guard down, even around people she just met. although, this tends to be rare and only happens around those that either remind cass of someone she can trust, or if there's just something to them that she likes. cass also seems to be a bit secretive and somewhat mysterious. others brush this off as just a vibe from her appearance, although when others observe it more, cass clearly has some things that she's hiding.

something you'll notice about cass, when you first get to know her, is that she's completely stubborn. she tends to not let others make her do something she doesn't want to do, which will occasionally come in because of her trust issues. cass also tends to refuse to believe she is wrong about something, since she usually wants to be right. despite that, cass is actually very determined, almost in an admirable way. her determination helps her pull through a lot of stuff, though she can also get herself into a lot of trouble with it.

when you actually get to know cass, you'll see that she's genuinely nice and kind. she's always there to look out for her friends. she tries her best to always be respectful to her friends, even when she's having a disagreement with them. she cares a lot about her friends and allies, never wanting to see them get hurt. she tends to look out for them the best she can, though feel completely defeated if something really bad happens to them. cass is also known to be protective of the people she cares about. she may come off as critical or rude to the people she's protective of, often just trying to prevent them from doing something that she thinks would hurt them.

although, the thing about cass is that she actually has a hard time expressing and understanding her own emotions. while it's easy for her to just come off as happy or sad, she has a hard time putting words to how she feels, or even how to just act when she feels a certain way. cass also has a hard time recognizing certain emotions, often not noticing them until they've affected something. while she is protective and caring of her loved ones, cass actually has a hard time understanding and recognizing love; both platonic and romantic. while she knows how to just treat her friends with kindness, she can come off as indifferent or controlling, especially when she's really concerned about her friend's well-being. another thing cass has a hard time to express is her low self-esteem. although she may come off as confident because she doesn't let others push her around, and she doesn't just take shit from others, [color=#C274AE]cass actually has little to no confidence herself. not only does she have a hard time recognizing her own achievements, but [color=#C274AE]cass is also extremely insecure about what she is, which is why she always hides it from people. even if she's pals with something that can be considered just as odd as she is, she couldn't ever bring herself to let people know. she's ashamed. truthfully, [color=#C274AE]cass just wants to fit in, or to at least be accepted for who and what she is.

What was Cass thinking? She'd never climbed this high before. Although, that was the least of her concerns. What was at the top of these stairs? What would it lead to? Hopefully it wouldn't be anything dangerous. She wasn't really sure how she'd be able to handle it, if things would get bad. Although, it wasn't like Cass was guaranteeing her safety by walking up a staircase that lead to a mysterious set of floating islands. Perhaps she shouldn't question anything at this point, after all, she could be considered about as odd as those islands to some. She wasn't aware of the creatures that lived up there. Sure, she's heard talk from time to time during her travels, though she never caught any names. Cass just assumed they were rumors.

Her pure white eyes stared up to the end. She was almost there. Deciding to rush forward, Cass' paws pounded against the stone steps. Maybe she was running straight into her doom. She didn't quite know. Her long tail trailed behind her as she ran. It didn't take long before she eventually reached the end of the stairs. Despite the distance she ran, she didn't seem to be out of breath. It barely even seemed like she was breathing in the first place.

So, this was it. This is where the stairs lead to. Interesting. For now, she just sat there, still. Her blank eyes stared out in the distance. For a moment she just sat there, almost as if she were thinking about something.

So, there actually were others that lived up here. Interesting. Cass glanced over at Kenji when he spoke up. She was silent for the moment, almost analyzing the wolfdog. Her face held nothing more than an expression of curiosity. Her eyes went over to Jerseyboy when he spoke up. At this point, she knew she might as well introduce herself. If they would be unfriendly or threatening to her, she could easily turn back and move on.

"My name is Cass..." she started off, just introducing herself. "I'm just... exploring," she added. She doubted she was the first to run up this staircase, for the sake of exploration and curiosity. "Didn't really realize anybody lived up here..." she mumbled, mostly to herself. She hoped they wouldn't press her for more questions - she wasn't exactly overwhelmed with the amount of people that were around her, though she just didn't quite feel like having a conversation. They were a bunch of strangers. They could be dangerous. Hopefully, they were just friendly.

i'd say that i would reinstall it, but my phone has so little storage on it as it is.

but i might actually download it when i get more free time, so i can actually do something outside.

oo, a mysterious brother.

Great. Someone else just decided to butt into the conversation. Well, it wasn't like Cass could complain. She was technically invading their territory in a way. She listened as Fadingmoon spoke, glancing at her as she did so. Was she looking for a home? What an odd question. Cass had to wonder why she'd even ask something.

Then again, she wasn't completely off. A home wasn't something Cass came here for. It was only something at the back of her mind. Most of the time, the female spent her time travelling around and exploring. There'd be those few people and few occasions where she'd settle down for a bit and just enjoy life. Although, the longest that'd ever lasted for her was a couple months. Truthfully, a home sounded nice. Although, she wasn't quite sure if she could really trust these strangers or not.

"Haven't given it much thought, if I'm being honest," she replied to the stranger. "But, not gonna lie - I have no place to be," she added. Even if she didn't trust these strangers at the moment, she wasn't setting anything in stone with what she was saying. Still, she had the option to bolt down those stairs at any moment she wanted. Sticking around wouldn't be too bad for her, hopefully.

hopefully if you do adopt him out, someone will actually play him and not just drop him.

15 and 18 doesn't sound too bad, though i personally think it's kinda of a weird age gap when you're in high school. i mean, as long as it isn't illegal and the two are actually happy, i guess it's fine.

Well, Cass did have to think about it. She wasn't the type to make split-second decisions. Especially if this would be changing how she lived her life. When she heard Kenji speak up, she still continued to think for a moment. Joining? Sure, the idea sounded nice. She wouldn't have to worry about hopping around from place to place, or constantly travelling day after day. She enjoyed her adventures, though she never quite just got to sit down and enjoy a regular life.

"Well, I guess I will be. Yes I'd like to join,"she finally replied. Cass couldn't believe she was really doing this. She barely knew any of them, so she wasn't really sure if they had any bad intentions. So far, they seemed perfectly fine; none of them seemed to be aggressive towards her so far. Perhaps she actually needed a place to call home.
