I'm loving how Crashkit looks nothing like his parents. XD

The Savannah had a annoyed face. Quicksilver grabbed one of his whiskers in her front teeth, tugging it back before releasing it. "That's a shame, hopefully they will soon... hopefully one of our kits will have some sort of gene like us." It sort of disappointed her that none of them had her spotted pelt, and that neither of them bore Farstar's golden coat. The only thing they had left were Vivikit's eyes to assess.

The coloration exists as a recessive gene on the X chromosome, meaning that a cat needs XX (female) to get it. However, if they are mutated and have XXY (an extra chromosome), they end up male, but sterile. [b]There is another extremely rare mutation that can produce a non-sterile male. Hes a loyal, and extremely brave warrior I will be honoured to have by my side."

Timberstar found the tom in the mass of cats. "I don't have any doubts he will make a great leader when the time comes."
