small lykoi cat w/ kinked tail ref
compared to other cats, wolfpaw is very, very strange-looking. this is understandable, really- she isn't a normal cat. she's actually a lykoi cat, otherwise known as a werewolf cat. this name is extremely fitting, as she in appearance (and, honestly, in personality) looks very much like a wolf. she looks almost like a sphynx cat, but with some fur instead of absolutely none. this is what makes her, and the remainder of those her breed, unique. their hair follicles are not capable of properly growing hair, and thus the underbelly area as well as others go without. to add, wolfpaw's eyes are a piercing amber hue, only creating an even stronger werewolf look-alike.
her tail is also very different from most others'. it is mostly normal, with the same sharp-looking fur as the rest of her body, until a point near the very tip of the tail. this part of her tail has an unusual kink in it that is unfixable at this point in time. this kinked tail was not the result of a genetic mutation, as it is for some siamese cats, but in fact created from a hard stomp to it that messed up the path of the tail. wolfpaw, however, is not self-conscious about this kink in her tail, nor is she about her abnormal appearance- she believes it is simply what makes her unique, and though she doesn't like the painful memories that go with her looks, she loves everything else about them. she wouldn't have it any other way.
