Fernando had left weeks ago and Rose Quartz followed in his footsteps soon after. That left him, Aquila, alone amongst strangers he had to call his allies. Joining a clan was all about unity because of similar thoughts, but how could he know what others thought when he couldn’t even talk to them? He thought the merge would let him meet new people, but it just seemed to spread himself farther apart than he already was in his old home. True, he was never an open person and he knew his appearance shut people off, but he thought that his allies were his friends and didn’t understand why he would constantly be ignored or singled out and socially eradicated.
So, he had called a meet and greet. If people didn’t want to talk to him after he spoke, then he would wait for them to say something. “Gather for a meet and greet,” the fox called out simply.

Aquila was surprised at all the faces who had showed up in a short amount of time. He recognized all of them but didn't know anybody's name. At that moment, he had felt enclosed as he stared at the people in the crowds saying their manes one by one. He felt guilt for not knowing their names either.
First was Blazeheart, a much older cat who seemed to know much more. Maybe it was because she used to be the leader of the clan he once called himself part of, but she had already earned his respect if she could call herself a former leader. Next was Elijah, though he was younger he was still larger than the fox. The wolf's first impression was that he didn't really care about a lot of things. Perhaps he was apathetic or just acting like a normal teenager. Aquila knew that teens were into some weird stuff. He then laid his eyes upon Kate, who really didn't look as old as she said she was. She looked to be maybe three or four years old, but then again that was three years more than he had. She seemed like an interesting person, though, so he didn't quite care. Finally, Nirvana. Aquila gave a smile at her response, the childishness in what she said stuck out to him more than what anyone else had said. After analyzing his clanmantes, he supposed that it was time for him to say something. "Well, it was very nice to meet you all," his glance circled around the crowd once more, a hint of shame still resting in his eyes.
Now, did he have to share an interesting fact? Everyone else had. The thought made him hesitate, freezing in his place as if his paws were glued to the floor. He didn't want anyone to know anything about him except his name. Even if they were his allies, it felt strange of him to give away even a hint of information. He swallowed a lump in his throat. "My name is Aquila, and I was born in Italy. Explains my strange way of speaking," he addressed towards everyone. That was good to say; his accent wasn't foreign towards anyone's knowings of him.

A begrudged Aquila arrived, only anticipating his demotion. He sat on the outskirts of the crowd as well, though he knew that this would greatly increase the amount of clanmates he still didn't know.

A rather excited voice prompted the fox to enter and, hearing Elijah's reply, noted the voice as an ally's. He pulled the hood of his cape down as soon as he heard the conversation and casually walked over to the others. He let Elijah do all the talking in that moment and awaited a reply from the member of The District

In all honesty, Aquila had never noticed Kate's disappearance. He never got around enough to even see most of the clan members anyways. "I saw her at the meet and greet, but that was many days ago," he remarked, having been simply passing by the leader when he heard Roy's question. Now that he thought about it, he hadn't seen the old feline the entire day.

Hey so uh I’m probably gonna leave this clan soon because honestly my inactivity is so bad and I just need to find a more slow-paced clan

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll be sure to check those clans out when I’m searching for one

A place that valued peace, huh? Aquila had heard that about Riverside by a passing rogue. He had doubts that he would be a good fit, but he decided to visit regardless. Their territory sure was aesthetically pleasing, so that was a good thing to him. He just wondered if the members were just as warm and soft as he was told. "Hello, I am Aquila. I am wondering if you would allow me to join your ranks," the Italian called casually, hoping somebody would show up and let him inside the borders. He had done this before so he had no doubts.

First The Covenant and now Riverside. Aquila believed to have gotten used to the territory quite well and it was now time to meet the members. The fox sat on the snow-covered ground and saw his breath stream out into the air as he spoke. “I am hosting a meet and greet here,” the Italian said simply, waiting for someone to arrive. Preferably an attractive lady or man. Whichever it was, Aquila was most likely going to make a move on them. It wasn’t something he had done in quite a while, and now that he could get a fresh start he was able to act more like himself.

Hey uh so i just joined a couple days ago what’s up guyssss

Where Aquila came from, there was always the occasional winter snow. It was never bad but still trapped everyone who lived around him inside simply because of the temperature. It was a good excuse to play outside and see his friends, but those days were long over. He never had hot cocoa during the winter back then, in fact he had had it for the first time two months ago when he didn’t move clans. So, when he heard that there was some, the fox jumped on the opportunity to obtain it. “Ciao, signorina,” he smiled charmingly, pulling the hood down from his cape. “Would I be able to have some?” He flicked his tail in anticipation of an answer as he looked at the stranger.

we don't need doors in our good riverside chat thread

My school just had a two hour delay even though we've gotten even less snow and had two days off

Aquila's eyes first went to the hawk perched atop the lion cub's shoulder. The Italian wished he had a companion like that; an eagle preferably but any bird of prey would work. He always had an unexplained fascination over eagles ever since he began to take English and learned that his name meant eagle. His eyes then shifted to Valemon. Nope, not flirting material. Aquila used his usual charm regardless. Not in a creepy way, though. "It's nice to meet you." The fox was taken aback by the cub's quick introduction, and it took him a few seconds to understand what he was saying. Even a slight fault in someone's English confused Aquila immensely. "I am Aquila," he nodded towards the other. In regards to his cape, it wasn't for fashion or comfort. It was a symbol of an alliance he held to a group of assassins, though he had many doubts that Val had even heard of them. Besides, it wasn't really the cub's business. "Grazie" was his only response. "Who's she?" He pointed his nose towards River.

Aquila had simply been wandering as he usually did. The fox was a curious spirit and he also enjoyed greeting joiners and allies if he happened upon one. His ears perked up as he heard a screech and scented blood. Sinking low to the ground, he entered the scene to see what had happened. He spotted a monstrous-sized wolf eating away at a deer carcass. Well that explained the scream. Aquila guessed that the wolf had no idea that he was intruding on clan territory. Coming out from behind a tree, he greeted the stranger. "Buongiorno, signore," he greeted, a slight tremor in his voice as his head glided up to meet the wolf's eyes. "Are you aware that you're on Riverside territory?" Aquila tried to use the least threatening tone he could. He was raised to fight off any trespassers, however, so he couldn't help to let out a hint of his displeasure.
