When he got word about the expedition he was invited to, he instantly packed a sack. Although he was afraid of the many dangers the world had to offer, exploring was too good an opportunity to decline. The six foot four man dressed himself into the appropriate attire for Dorne. The area was quite warm, at least in his opinion as he was a Stark, and therefore he would want to dress in breathable clothes to prevent excessive sweating. He was sure his fellow Westerosi would not want to see that.

Shortly after Queenie had approached the Targaryen, Lykos came along on his chestnut gelding, squinting against the burning sun but grinning at them nonetheless. "A wonderful day for an expedition, hmm? My thanks for inviting us, My Lord," he said, nodding his head towards Lucerys. He chuckled at Queenie's words, but said nothing of them. She was always a pleasant person to be around.

Here he was again, somehow managing to stand beside the Targaryen he saw so often. He promised he wasn't following Lucerys, but he always ended up nearby him. A part of him wanted to hightail it out of their view, but he knew that they would have already seen him by now. Best not make it awkward. "Greetings, My Lord, m'lady," he barked, politely smiling at both of them. "I take it this is a tour of our capital?" he mused, his gaze drifting off of them and onto the scenery around them.

One of the newest members to Westeros, a charming young fox, had caught Lykos' eyes. But then again, when didn't any charming male of Westeros? He had quite a lot of people he was interested in, but never did he make a move. No, most of the Westerosi males were straight. Or at least he thought. After a long time of thinking, Lykos decided it would be a perfect time to give a tour of his home to the new fox. It would both help him understand his new home and give them time to know more about one another. He thought himself quite sneaky, hence the way he was trotting with his chin up.

There he stood at the great doors to Winterfell, gazing up at them with admiration. Sure, they could use a bit more love and some tidying, but they had so much history to them. All of Winterfell did, actually. He was proud of his choice of house, and was aiming to keep House Stark alive and well. Earlier that day, he had sent a letter by bird to Mehki, inviting him to the mini tour of the North. The fox would hopefully get it and hopefully want to go. If one of those failed, well, Lykos would sulk for a few days.

The canine himself hadn't joined the house that long ago, so it was surprising to hear his name being called for the joining. He hadn't seen Kinleigh in a few days, and without her it was just him in Winterfell. With this in mind, he was excited to hear someone was joining. Not only that, but it was Queenie - the friendliest Westerosi here. He approached with a bright grin, nodding to Zerrak and Mara as to acknowledge the others before turning his full attention to the vixen.

"I'm thrilled you've chosen House Stark, m'lady," he woofed. Lykos then thought back to previous house joinings and how they went. So far, it was only his, which was rather unusual since there was no one but the king to accept, and then Alexus'. He would use what Strider had said, then, since he wasn't used to accepting. Was it even his place? Even if it wasn't, he'd voice that she was welcome to join.

"I ask that you swear your loyalty to both House Stark and Westeros." And that would be it. After she swears fealty, she will be apart of House Stark until she decides to leave.

King Tsubodai Targaryen had given out weekly tasks to those willing to take one, and he got one to welcome newcomers and educate them on all things Westeros. He decided to have this placed at Winterfell, his house's hold, and send out invitations by bird from there. Here, there would be an optional tour, and a meet and greet mixed with a 'q&a' session. This way, they not only would get familiar with the physical land, but with the Westerosi there. Leaning against the open gates of Winterfell, he gazed back into the castle where decorations were hanging, music was echoing from, and the sweet smell of a feast was floating out from. He knew that some people would most definitely come just for the food, and he didn't blame them. Some just didn't have an interest in gaining more knowledge.

He wore a dark outfit that was mostly hidden by his heavy, furred cloak. He needed this while he was up North, or he would probably continue getting cold after cold. That's something he didn't need while he was one of the only Starks trying to keep the house alive and well. Lykos slid his dark, brown eyes back to the road where others would be arriving soon. Hopefully the birds actually arrived at the destinations they were ordered to.

Lykos Stark - House Stark - 28 months

He'd marry for Westeros (more specifically his house), even if it meant being with a woman. He'd hate it, but he'd do it.

The only reason Lykos was down at the Iron Islands was to deliver some supplies to those living there. There wasn't much of a population here; only about twenty npcs lived on the islands as a whole. He thought that while House Stark was slowly building itself up, it wouldn't hurt to try and gain friendships with other places in Westeros. Besides, they had enough supplies up in Winterfell. For now, at least.

He had been taking his leave when he noticed something rise out of the water. Doing a double take, Lykos gazed from a mile away at the horse-like creature that dripped water from its body. Although he was terrified, he decided he'd need to take a closer look and make sure this animal wouldn't terrorize the people of the Iron Islands. Approaching cautiously, the wolf peered up at him, just a bit shorter than him due to his long legs.

"Beg pardon, but who are you and what is your business here?" he inquired, tilting his head in curiosity.

The wolf let out a low chuckle, watching the vixen before him. Ever so bubbly. He then listened to her declaration of loyalty with a proud smile, his chin lifting a bit more than usual. Another Stark. This was quite the achievement for him. As she finished he couldn't help but wag his tail as he deeply dipped his head towards the fox.

"Unless stated otherwise from the King," he began, saying this because he wasn't so sure on whether he was allowed to do this, "you are now, officially, a member of House Stark." Lykos then looked back up, gazing at her with a bright glint in his eyes and a large smile. "Congratulations."

In his opinion, Queenie seemed much more like a Lannister. What with her sense of fashion and her hair color. But stereotypes were meant to be broken, and here she was joining his house. His eyes crinkled as he watched her dance on her paws, amused by her excitement.

"Perhaps we'll have a gathering of sorts at Winterfell to celebrate your joining? If you wish, you can plan the whole thing with a little help from me - a possibly Lady Kinleigh." He was going to tell her no when she asked if there was anything to do, but then he came up with what he said. They didn't want to fall into any more inactivity, and perhaps this was the way to go about her choice of House Stark. The dire wolf of his house then padded up, offering up her introduction, and he gave her a polite nod. He then heard Strider, and a bright grin appeared on his face with what the cheetah said. Always a kind man, he was. It was then Katarina and the raptor that approached next, and he murmured a hello to the both as to acknowledge their presence.

Although he felt the need to go aid them in the fight, he knew that would be useless. He didn't even know how, and he'd just get in the way. It would be better if he looked after Westeros while those gathered here left. What if there were an emergency or even a raid here? Even if he wasn't prepared, he'd do his damn well best to keep his home safe. Not saying anything to those here, he watched to make sure he knew was leaving and who would still be here.

Just a day after his return from a business trip and he had another Westerosi want to join House Stark? With a spring in his step and his tail wagging violently, Lykos made his way over. It was nice to see others congratulating him before he could get there. Even though he didn't really know Katarina and Alfeynnah, he had a liking for them. Despite their frightening nature, they seemed to have good hearts. "A wonderful choice, Leo!" he woofed, gazing down at him. "Before you join, I would wish for you to declare your loyalty to Westeros and House Stark."

okay now i really sorta want there to be a hetero arranged marriage with lykos and he's just a sad boi but does it for Stark/Westeros

He had arrived rather late to the meeting, as his return from a business trip to other parts of Westeros delayed his arrival. He had been off trying to get a better feel of what the other lands of Westeros were like instead of just looking at the maps. It had warmed his heart to see so many different people and cultures, and he brought with him lots of books that he had purchased from those areas. Needless to say, he was huffing and his fur was flying everywhere when he sat down. He listened with his ears perked forward, curious as to what he missed. Lots of events were happening. Westeros was booming. As King Tsubodai said his last words, about House Stark, Lykos' eyebrows raised. Him? A Lord? Behind him, the beating of his tail against the ground could be heard. He stood up just seconds later and bowed to the king. "I am honored, Your Grace. Thank you for this opportunity; I gladly accept it." He glanced over to Queenie, who had graciously offered no opposition. He grinned at her brightly, his heart pounding with excitement.

Upon getting the invitation, Lykos jumped at the opportunity. Quite literally. He had leaped from where he stood in Winterfell and climbed onto the back of his bay gelding. He was quite a large horse, but then again, Lykos Stark had incredibly long legs. The 6'3 man had gotten upon his shire with ease before he set off to the Eyrie. By the time he got there, his horse was panting, and he made sure that once he got off his horse hadn't been too tired from the journey. He watched intently as his gelding was lead away before turning his attention to the three others already here.

"Lady Targaryen, I'd like to express how thankful I am to have received an invitation," he began, bowing to her before straightening his back again to show a courteous smile. Lykos then turned his eyes to the other two. "Lady Bolton, Kloun," he greeted them, nodding his head to the both of them. He hadn't seen the latter one much around Westeros, but then again he hadn't been around for a week as he had been on a trip. Perhaps he'd be able to be around the male a bit more now that he was back.

Lykos arrived during Jaelynn's small speech, listening intently to her words about House Mallister. Yes, he had read about the house in the past, but never really had taken much interest in it. Now, he guessed, he would be able to learn a bit more about it. He sat next to Queenie, offering her a polite smile before turning his head to the person who spoke after Jaelynn.

From the smell of it, she was a Greyjoy. He hadn't met her before, he didn't think, but he recognized her. And she also seemed to not particularly like the Mallister's take on history. His eyes awkwardly shifted between the two, wondering if an argument were about to ensue.

"Heaven knows I need to learn some self defense," came Lykos' bark. Despite his intent to grow more skillful in the world of weapons and fighting, he still hadn't. It just seemed so rough and cold. Yes, he lived in the North now, at Winterfell, but to him that was so much more different than the art of fighting. If anything, it frightened him.
