Theo nodded with a smile. "Yep, that's my name," she said. The lioness was about to ask what book the other was reading, but Suga stepped over and asked Fairylights if she was okay. Now, looking at the deer closer(though she didn't need to to see the injury), Theo realized she probably should've asked that as well. Fairylights was getting worse, too. Theo frowned deeply, expression one of concern.

Theo, for some reason, wasn't Landon's biggest fan. The only time she'd seen him was around Sola, and whenever they so much as interacted the lioness would feel a tug in her chest that just made her feel flat out sick. Theo had no idea if it was normal or not, but she was usually able to push it to the side and go about with her day. It may always tug at the back of her head, but she was never sour about it.

Until now, of course. When the words left Landon's mouth, Theo's mouth went dry, and she felt her heartbeat in her ears like a drum. When Sola said yes, visibly excited about it, Theo could feel everything inside her drop, she felt like there was something stuck in her throat and her eyes burned as if she was looking directly into the sun. Theo just flat bad, llike the physical definition of bad. The girl could hear white noise burning in her ears, and Theo didn't know what to do. Why... why was she so upset about this? This shouldn't bother her, it shouldn't. But it did, and the lion stumbled backwards a few steps before turning and running. She wasn't that close to the scene, so she would go unnoticed. Hopefully.

i've decided to make a Frisk character and i thought it'd be more fun if they had a friend! it can be any Undertale character (other than Frisk, of course) and we can have whatever plot, i just wanna roleplay Undertale! here are a few things i'd like to get out of the way, though! :D

    - i'd like them to join the same clan and know each other. from what, i don't know! but that's the fun! we can plot that.

    - though your character doesn't HAVE to be exactly an Undertale character, with the name and everything (though i'd love it to) it has to at least be STRONGLY based off a character!

    - please be a decent roleplayer. i've done stuff like this where i asked someone to roleplay and they did one sentence per post, or it felt like it was written by a ten year old. it was... guh. you dont have to be AMAZING but,,, y'all know who you are. i'm really not trying to be rude, but a bad roleplaying partner just drains my muse

thank you! i know Undertale is officially old and the fanbase can be kinda... eh... but the characters are so good and bringing them to life is gonna be so much fun! thanks for reading, i hope to roleplay with you!

(too long? background stops and joining begins at paragraph three!)

The resets had never hurt you before. Never. You could always do what you wanted, kill them and then spare that, destroy things and repair them flawlessly, and then reset so you could see what would happen if you did things differently. Sure, there was the deja vu some characters had from past timelines and, sometimes, a character would become aware, but it was never a big problem. Usually, you could fix that and return the character to normal, while others just had to deal with it. You were just trying to get the perfect ending, so once you do it wont matter anyway, they'll be thankful. But, like you said at first, resetting had never failed you this bad.

Where... where are you? You look around, dazed, confused, frightened. This isn't the Underground, you know this from the fact that you can see the sky so clearly. This certainly isn't Mount Ebott, either, judging by the distinct lack of a mountain. When you reset, you always go back to the exact moment where you're falling through the mountain and towards your new adventure, so why aren't you there? Why is it that you seemed to be nearly shaking with hunger and exhaustion. Why... why are you an animal, with light brown fur covering your entire body? What went wrong through space and time to make you into this, was this even your dimension? It couldn't be. Why... now of all times, of all resets? You were so close to saving everyone and getting a perfect ending, but saving Asgore always proved to be a challenge.

You slowly stand, and immediately notice how weak and vulnerable and... small you feel. You're open to any attack and are much too weak and afraid to act in any way that could possibly save your life in that moment. With every step, you limp, and a small, strained whimper leaves your lips. You're shaking, more and more ready to fall down and starve the longer you walk. It would be easier, to give up. Whatever happened with the reset, it left you feeling weak, useless and hurt, like you'd been fighting the odds for days, maybe weeks. But, something inside you doesn't allow you to just drop and take the easy way out. You have determination. Determination that you'll find people, get better, travel back to your dimension and find the perfect ending. That's all you want.

You reach the edge of of the forest you've been trekking through and decide it's best to sit and catch your breath. You think about what you've done and what you'll do next. Perhaps, if you sit here, somebody will come, find you, and give you mercy. You try and breathe, but your nerves seem to be tight and constricting.

    give a little mercy ☆

It was only when you stopped your painful trek through the forest to take a rest was the cold able to catch up with you. After only a few seconds of sitting and trying to sort out everything that was happening in your head, you started shaking for reasons other than the pain. It's the middle of winter and it's bound to start snowing at any minute, but for now it's just freezing. If you don't die of starvation, perhaps you might freeze instead? The thought makes you frown and you really hope that someone, anyone, is out there to help, all social anxiety out the window.

A gust of strong, cold wind blows and you huddle into yourself to keep warm, only now noticing the thick scarf wrapped around your neck. It's blue, with purple stripes, and to your tiny child feline form it's huge on you. You stuff your face into it for warmth. You should start moving, to keep warm, but it's hard, and you keep telling yourself that you might not get the chance to rest again so you'd better do it now. Another cold gust seems like it's trying to tug the scarf off your neck. You close your eyes and whimper. This is how you die.

But, suddenly, an unsure voice is calling to you, and as soon as you hear it your head whips up from the comfortable scarf it's nuzzled in. You're too relieved and joyful to be nervous about talking to a stranger, you're just happy you're alive and saved. At his offer of warmth, you nod frantically, quickly standing. It hurts to move, but the adrenaline of surviving temporarily blocks out the pain. My name? Easy! Frisk. You think. You open your mouth to respond. Nothing but a strangled noise comes out. You try again to say your name and this time, no noise escapes you.

In this dimension, where ever you are and whatever place this is, you can't talk. But you know sign language, and you hope someone else here, wherever here is, does too. For you, it was a school activity that you took interest in and perused, while other kids learned curses and complained about how boring the mini class was. 'Frisk,' you sign, your hands shaking violently as you do so. When the raptor comes, you turn to look at the creature being offer a pained smile, the most you could muster, to acknowledge . You'd just come from a relm of literal monsters who walked around freely without a care that they looked much, much stranger than Blue. Still, the sheer size of her, of literally anyone, scares you. It doesn't help that you're a kid and therefore are much smaller than many people.

    give a little mercy ☆

Your gaze keeps switching anxiously between the giant... creature and the clouded leopard that stand idly in front of you. The raptor is your man focus, though, as it almost looks ready to attack. You know that it's pointless to hope that either of them have any idea what you're signing, but it's worth a shot.

Your eyes quickly catch the a third figure emerging, and you take a small step backwards before slightly wincing in pain. People are continuing to show up, and you're still not getting any answers. The fact that they're all sentient animals, like you, confuses you further. A few hours ago, you were just a human. Sure, you were trying to save an underground civilization of monsters, but that wasn't as weird as being a literal cat. You realize can do nothing but stare at the others, now that you can't speak. You sit awkwardly, not knowing what to do with yourself. But suddenly, a voice that isn't yours breaks through your thoughts and fills your head.

You let out a noise of surprise. Was that the lion that just showed up? Was this normal in this dimension, to talk though each other's mind. It takes a few seconds for you to process this information before you decide that the best thing to do was to respond. How... how do you respond? Do you just... think back? 'I... uh... I don't know where I am... or how I got here.' You think, hoping your scrambled thoughts don't distract the lion from what you're trying to say. 'I think I'm hurt... I'm definitely cold. And hungry.'

    give a little mercy ☆

So much is happening at once, you can barely process it. You just want to fall asleep and wake up in Toriel's familiar bedroom with a slice a freshly baked pie at the end of your bed. You want to tell Toriel all about your crazy dream when she comes into your room to wake you up, all about how you were a cat and couldn't talk. "My child!" she'd chuckle. "That is quite the dream. Maybe you should start writing them down."

But this isn't a dream, and suddenly there's another person coming up to greet you. Pierce. His name is Pierce, and his voice is soft and inviting. He asks if you can write. Your deep brown eyes go wide and you frantically nod. It'd definitely be hard to write in this new form, without thumbs or even hands, but it's definitely something you hadn't thought of before.

    give a little mercy ☆

You, Frisk, are never very... social. In fact, you try to stay away from from situations were you have to interact with more than two strangers at a time, as it makes you anxious. But now... now's an exception. You're new to this clan, new to this world, and new to this dimension. You're new to being a literal sentient cat, and you're new to not being able to speak. Honestly, you just want a sense of familiarity. You want things to make sense and you want to be able to know everybody, so you figure that that best way to achieve this is to get to know people around the clan and make friends. It should be easy.

You realize how stupid this is, though, when you shakily approach the group with no way to actually talk to them. For this reason, you find yourself scanning the crowd for familiar faces and end up rushing over to Pierce's side. He was very friendly at your greeting, and you know he sometimes carries around papers and pencils to write with. Maybe he'll let you borrow some. Once you're at his side, you look up at him and offer a nervous wave.

    give a little mercy ☆

You're a very curious child when you're not an anxious and confused mess. You like to explore and snoop to learn new things and answer questions and right now, the question you're looking for an answer to is 'where exactly am I?' It'd only been a day since you'd found yourself in another dimension and stumbled across BlizzardClan, and every muscle in your body is still sore, but you need answers, so you'd put your nerves and pain aside to stumble through the camp.

It appears you'd found yourself in the middle of an activity somebody set up. You walked close, listening in as people talked among themselves, and were able to figure out that was a place that people could make jewelry for themselves. Your deep brown eyes displayed your confusion as to how one could even make jewelry with paws and claws, but you tried not to dwell on it. Was this a normal thing for the clan? You lingered next to the table awkwardly, not knowing what to do.

okay so frisk rlly likes pierce bc he’s kind and quiet and they are too! maybe he can catch them in the middle of a really bad nightmare? it’s about another dimension and stuff and they’d have to explain it to him. maybe they can confide in him about never being able to go back to their dimension, especially when they find out they can’t time travel anymore. frisk rlly needs someone to fall back on and pierce seems like a great one-man support system

idk, im just rambling ideas at this point, it’s up to you!
