Archer wanted to start being an active clan member as soon as possible, so he padded over, standing. He would not sit on the ground, the dirty, gritty, disgusting ground. "I'd like one."

oh boy he got the fourth lmao

Niles watched the other approach, offeing him a smile when he stopped walking. "Hello, I don't believe we've met. Niles Crane, you?" He held out his hand for a handshake.

A fire? Oh dear. So many things could go wrong. He'd kill himself. He'd hurt someone. He'd burn down the camp, but he didn't want to disappoint anybody, so he swallowed his doubt and accepted with a short nod. Walking away, he stifled a cry of worry.

Niles smiled, stepping in. He looked around, observing everyone's casual attire. He seemed to stand out, but he didn't mind. He wasn't going anywhere in a t-shirt and jeans. "Lovely day, isn't it?" Being from Seattle, every day without precipitation was lovely, but that made no difference. He glanced at the beers and looked at Tommy, the strong aroma of cigarettes overwhelming his nostrils.

Niles realized how uncomfortable he'd made Pierce, understanding. "My apologies." He himself was not a fan of physical contact, and after the handshake he wiped his hands with a small wipe. He always kept a few packs in his pocket. "It's nothing personal," he added nonchalantly. "Just a thing I have."

Archer was not fond of fire. Not in the slightest bit. He didn't know if there was a punishment for failing to do a weekly task, but he did not want to be a rebel and find out, so, he decided to do it. His task had been to start a bonfire. Archer was almost positive that he would kill himself and/or the whole clan. But if he was successful, he'd be proud. So Archer got to it, gingerly collecting sticks from the ground. At one point, he stepped on one that flung up and hit his eye, but otherwise he was very successful. He picked a spot with no grass and put the sticks down. He had gotten some matches, and so he brought some. He lit it, striking it against a stone and holding it a bit too long, throwing it on the fire when it singed his paw. The fire seemed to jump up, starting instantly. He jumped back, tripping over a rock and falling on his head. He quickly gathered himself up and straightened himself. He stared at the fire for a few moments, proud of what he had done. "Yes! Oh, yes!" He beamed, awkwardly pacing with a stupid smile on his face.

Archer turned around, seeing Loraine. "Hello! I'm fine." He was never truly alright, always accidentally hurting himself, but he was just about as good as he could be. "It's a weekly task. Whatever that is, it's a confusing thing." He knew virtually nothing about the clan. It was ridiculous.

Niles hadn't noticed the comment made by DeyVarah. there was flirting involved? Niles was unaware of this. "Flirting?" He'd never really considered a homosexual relationship. It wasn't out of the picture, though, it was unlikely. Besides, there was a significant age gap. He turned to Pierce. "You were flirting with me?" Niles looked around with a puzzled expression.

"A bonfire," Archer replied to Sylmae. "Why are you so concerned?" He turned to Fading. "Hopefully not, if we're careful," he said reassuringly.
