[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%] // this is very late, I am so sorry! Also kinda rushed, I am very sorry about that too!

It was very cold out here and very loud. She couldn't make out what was going on, considering she was just born, all she could make out was that there were noises. Loud noises. She wanted back in, back into where ever she came from. It was so warm, so comfortable, but now she was cold and surrounded by irritating sounds.

Alongside the cold and all the noises, she felt another thing, an urge to drink. She attempted to move a bit closer to her mother and continued to suck on her mothers teat.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Cherry didn't know a single fact about her family. She never met her mother, nor her father, and even if she did she had no memories of that moment. The farthest back she could remember was a few days ago, maybe not even that far back. In fact, she could barely remember what she had eaten that morning. If she couldn't remember her last meal how was she supposed to remember her parents? Did she even have parents? Perhaps she was just summoned or appeared in some bush in the middle of nowhere. She didn't know where children even came, so she assumed that the latter was the truth.

Since she had grown up with practically no family, she had been attempting to teach herself things that parental figures would normally teach her. She had eavesdropped on conversations to learn a variety of words, she had witnessed other clanmates hunting, which gave her an idea on how to attack prey, and she also learnt how to have fun when living alone. All she had to do was imagine she was surrounded by friends and the kit would be satisfied.

This was absolutely perfect for the kit. Except for one thing. Her fur. It was a disgusting shade of ginger and made her look so plain and disgusting in every way. She had to find a way to cover it or draw peoples attention away from it. She supposed the prior would be simpler, so she would try to create some sort of hat or accessory to cast some shade on her face and make her fur seem somewhat darker. It would work for the time being until she could find some sort of clothing or cloak to wear.

The beach had plenty of good supplies for crafting. Grass, wood, seaweed, but wheat or straw would do the best.

There wasn't much wheat or straw around the area, but there was some tall dry grass, which the girl would use to create a nice hat. She just needed to find a way to get the grass to stay together, but perhaps it would cooperate and just stay still. That would be a miracle. The kit tore a small patch of the grass out of the ground and attempted to form them into the shape of a hat. Right when she placed them though, the grass would rip or spring back into its original shape. After a few minutes, the kit let out a furious huff. This grass was being so uncooperative! What a disgrace! But she didn't plan on giving up on creating the hat. So she would just continue to fold and curve the grass until it eventually behaved.

I am new here! Thanks for all the welcomes!

I don't have as many characters as the rest of you, I only have four and I'm not roleplaying with two of them at the moment.

How do you guys even keep so many characters? I can barely keep muse for one.

I only have friday off this week, y'all are lucky.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Cherry nearly jumped when she heard a voice from behind her. She slowly turned her head and stayed quiet for a minute. It was a dog. Even despite never personally meeting one, the kitten knew about the food chain. The mouse eats the grass, the cat eats the mouse, and the dog... eats the cat. It was dark, and she shouldn't be thinking so rudely about a stranger. But she couldn't help but think about how life goes.

He seemed nice enough though. So she took a deep breath and replied to the other. "Hello," She began, not making eye contact with the stranger yet. She felt incredibly nervous. No one had really interacted with her before. Most likely because she spent most of her time wandering around. She raised her eyes to meet the dog's and continued. "I am trying to make a hat, it isn't really working out though." She stated, giving the pile of dry grass a quick glance. It didn't even look slightly like a hat! She most likely just embarrassed herself by telling the man about her project! How stupid, but she couldn't just leave the conversation to make the pile look appropriate. She had to finish talking to the dog. It is nice to meet you Felix, my name is-" Should she really give her name to this stranger? Despite his kind attitude, he could be some sort of... evil dark predator. But perhaps she could trust him. "My name is Cherryblossom"

Neonkit immediately caught her attention. His greeting caused her face to darken a bit. She knew someone would remark on her fur! It was so noticeable and crude looking. She should've just grabbed the supplies she needed and ran to someplace private. "I would really like it if you would refrain from calling me Ginger." Perhaps she shouldn't have come off so rude, but she had to get her point across and make it clear that the other had to stop himself from using the nickname.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]This was very new to her. Cherry honestly had no clue how to respond when she got there. But when people began to shout out 'Oh, I'll take one!' she got a basic clue on what she was required to do. The kit cleared her throat and gave a small shout. "May I take one?"

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Cherry didn't know how to react to the shout at first. Should she ignore it or see who had yelled? Should she tell someone or runaway. She didn't quite know at first, but she ended up choosing to investigate.

Once she had reached the bridge where she had heard the shout come from, the kitten couldn't help but stare in confusion. There stood a tiger. Large and intimidating. It had some sort of scar on its chest. It must've hurt when they were given the wound. The sight of the scar caused the kit to worry a bit. How did they get such a wound, and why?

Then she witnessed a dog head up towards the tiger. Why would they approach such a creature so carelessly? It could be some sort of monster, or a psycho. The kitten decided she should head up to the tiger and try to talk to them. Maybe they were actually just a nice animal who wanted to visit the clan! Even if they weren't, she should at least try to ask it a few questions.

The kitten bounded up to the other and immediately started speaking to them. "H-hello there! What's your name and what's your business in RiverClan? I'm Cherryblossom and my business here is living here! Do you live here as well? Have I just not met you yet? And oh, if you don't mind me asking, were did you get that scar? It looks awfully painful." Hopefully she didn't ask too many questions. She honestly couldn't help it. Once she asked one, others just kept flowing on out.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]"I-I..." All of this occured in what seemed like seconds to the kitten. The person she had greeted, who she assumed was a stranger was claiming to be her mother. Her mother? She had a mother. How would she respond? With an "I love you." Or perhaps with a nice "I missed you." Oh, but those all seemed so meaningless. People were told those things all the time, especially in casual conversation. She didn't know what to say at all. She couldn't muster up a single word.

    Until Esca said one thing.

    "I was murdered."

Her mother had been, killed? It was hard even thinking about it. Who on earth would do such a cruel thing to a person. Especially one that had a child. She couldn't help but spit up one short sentence. "Who... Who would do something so terrible? What kind of sick, disgusting person would... Murder another?" If she could she would've stopped herself. She would've told Esca how much she missed her and how much she loved her. But she couldn't help herself. She just had to find out who the monster who murdered her mother was.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]'Pastel Paint War'? Cherry had never heard of such an event before, but it sounded marvelous! "This sounds like fun! I can't wait!"
