sparklingpaw's interactions with others had been a bit hindered, due nearly completely to her weak cardiac organ. her childhood thus far had consisted more of resting than actual childlike behavior. her jaws parted as she breathed in the ocean air with short breaths, seeming a bit too winded to have just taken a stroll through the carnival. the alabaster feline leaped ungracefully onto a ride of some sort, tail waving in thought for a few momens before she began to speak. "hello! i'm sparklingpaw, but you can call me.. well.. whatever you'd like, really." she called loudly, attempting to catch the attention of as many of the members as she could. she knew that one often gave nicknames when introducing themselves, and her name was long enough to yield one, but she hadn't thought far enough ahead to have one prepared. she gave an uneasy smile as she lay in wait, wondering how long this sort of thing usually took.

the girl's head turned sharply as she searched for the figure speaking to her, realizing quickly that the blurry brown spot in her vision was frisk. "nice to meet you, frisk!" the young tigress stopped at this, unsure what else she was suppose to do in the event one wanted to make friends. it seemed that she wouldn't have to think about it, though, as a question was thrown her way. "i came with my dad.. claviclekiss. but i never really got around much before." she nodded wisely as she finished speaking, smile beginning to turn down at the corners. she knew her heart was weak, and that she could hardly see, but she still disliked that fate had made her this way.

"what about you?" she decided to return the question, because frisk seemed very smart and she wondered if they'd lived here for a long time. maybe they could show her around or something, because her knowledge of the layout began and ended with a handful of the structures.

the young tiger approached shortly after frisk, her small face contorted into a worried expression. sparring.. she'd never fought before, but it sounded hard and a bit like a waste of effort. she'd never even seen a fight at this point in her life, though, and she stopped a good distance away so that her eyes were able to focus on the two figures. her father, she recognized him there on the ground. and he was in distress, it seemed, which made her wonder exactly what the other had done to him. she edged closer to frisk, whom she saw on the other side of the pair, shooting the other a worried expression. "what happened to him?" she whispered loudly, pale eyes flickering to claviclekiss for a moment so she would know who she was speaking of.

the large child padded ungracefully along, head moving from side to side as she took in the place. it wasn't the most interesting, really, everything was broken down and the tall metal skeletons were mostly too thin for her eyes to focus on, and so she continued on without really looking at anything better than sideways glance. the buildings drew perhaps the most attention of anything, because they offered a large focal point and bright colors to help catch her attention.

with blue eyes wide she drifted closer to a particularly long pink building, drawn in by its unusual lack of one of the usual walls. she was too close at this point to really make out what lay inside, besides a whole lot of the same thing, though the sound of frisk's voice hit her ears and she plodded closer on heavy paws. "frisk!" she called, spotting the familiar brown shape investigating one of the objects. she peered closer at it, seeing that it was a looking glass. not a particularly good one at that, because the reflection was distorted and misshapen. "why is it like that?" she asked frantically, looking back at he feline to see if her body was, in fact, correctly shaped.

the place did seem desolate, with members few and far between, but really it just gave spark more time to rest when her body was heavy with the exhaustion of walking. at this particular time she was laying inside of a sideways teacup of massive scale, a spiraled lolipop between her bulky paws. her fluffy head lifted with interest as she heard a call from nearby. she would like to play a game, come to think of it. she quickly stood, head clanging against the top of the metal object. she gave an agitated shake of her head, peering upwards at the colorful paint before trotting lazily towards frisk. "sure, i love games." she mewed, depositing her lolipop neatly in the dirt. her happy expression drew serious as a thought crossed her mind, and she spoke again "well.. what game?" what if her idea of a game was racing or swimming or something, like the electric-furred feline had wanted everyone to do. in that case she'd much rather curl back up and sleep.

how she had found herself in this situation the child did not know, but she tumbled through the deep water all the same. in her reptilian mind she supposed she'd gone for a swim back at the carnival, whatever the place had been called she did not know, and had continued to swim(flounder) until this point. her memory was not sharp, and of course it was all speculation. a salty wave crashed over her head, swiping the thoughts away and grinding her into the sandy beach. ow. she fumbled to drag herself from the grasp of the ocean, taking gasping breaths all the way. she dropped herself a yard or so from the tide, which seemed particularly calm for the way it had treated her. a heavy paw swiped at her face in an attempt to brush away the sand that clung to her wet fur. she gave up quickly, as it was a time consuming task.

sparklingpaw drew herself to her paws, sucking in ragged breaths as her hardly-seeing eyes gazed at her surroundings. this was not the carnival. was she on the other side of the world? or-- even worse, had she fallen off the world? it did look very flat when she gazed upon the horizon.
