"the characters, uh, did something that made me mad." that was a pitiful excuse, she thought to herself. but she hoped that they didn't catch on. "and i took it out on the book. because of the characters." she glanced at the book. "making me mad."

"this one women ended up killing her ex-husbands current wife...because she was jealous of their relationship being better than the one they had." she finished. if none of them caught on, maybe she could actually keep this lie going.

but that didn't stop the wolf from jumping into battle, bearing her razor-like teeth and sharpened claws. she whipped her head around, scanning the battle with clear blue eyes. her eyes locked on the first enemy she saw - ashbringer. she started to rush at the lion, her eyes burning with the roman spirit fighting to break out.
romania wasn't one for taunts but she couldn't help but express her anger. "get off my territory!" she bellowed, her voice quaking with rage, right before launching herself at the lion, slashing downwards with her left paw, aiming for her side. once that caught her attention, she would dodge, moving away with lightning speed, prepared to strike again.

[size=8]ah, late, late late. that's all she was lately. she settled down mid-way through the meeting, narrowing her eyes at dahlia in order to take in as much as she could.
promotions, demotions. the wolf didn't react to any of the names she didn't know, except hazel and her own. a warm feeling bloomed in her chest and she stood up straighter. "thank you, dahlia. i will specialize in liberation and warfare." the feeling of having power was new and yet familiar - she was prepared, even if she didn't realize it, to wield it well.
the meeting went downhill from there. displeasure was evident in her features. she couldn't help but frown and narrow her eyes at bast.
the wolf listened with pricked ears as replies and retorts flew back and forth between her fellow comrades. her right ear turned sharply and she looked at harlan with an imaginary raised eyebrow - he looked like a nervous wreck. "did you join the knights of eden seeking an easy life? that was not a good life choice." she mused.
"the knights of eden is now at war with bloodclan. where do you live?" she leaned closer. "you live in eden. and if you want to stay in eden, you will fight." her tone had taken on a hard edge to it. maybe she was being brash, rude, or inconsiderate. but romania knew war. she knew how that went down. there couldn't be any weak links in the chain and this was her own way of checking this particular doubter.

romania sidled up to the meet and greet, crystal blue luminaries focusing on the host. "hello there," she greeted the hellhound with polite friendliness. azreal was a new sight for romania, as well as robin, the hyena she had been speaking with. "i'm romania nicoleta nero. but that's too long so call me romania," a small smile curved on her maw.
"i'm the juror of warfare and liberation." she blinked after she finished her own introduction. "on the topic of species, i'm a wolf," she glanced at robin beside her, flashing a small smile. "and i hope i don't appear 'scary' to anyone here."

the smell of blood was terribly sharp, her keen sense of smell only heightening it. her form seemed to hover in the darkness, shifting side to side until it became clearer as she came closer, approaching cautiously. romania blinked at the scene before her, looking at bast before slowly moving her eyes over to necros. "are you okay, bast?" she asked, her concern for her clan mate one of her priorities.
romania moved closer, studying necros with a thoughtful gaze. "in this case, yes, i think it would be alright if you stayed here." she paused, allowing them to absorb this. at the same time she glanced at bast. "do you think you need any...um, medical attention?" they didn't look wounded but with all this blood, she couldn't be sure.

the wolf had not been alive for a long time but she knew war. she knew it and she knew it well.
she saw it every night in her dreams.
"you don't have to fight, gordon, and no one is going to force you too." she glanced at dahlia after she spoke. would she actually force them to fight, even if they did not want too? she didn't know. the she-wolf kept her doubt hidden, though.
