    THIS TIME I'LL BE BULLETPROOF

Elliot had started her day in her space ship. As a human.

Now, she was lying in the middle of nowhere in the form of a... neon wolf? The female was terrified, and reached over to grab her slightly cracked goggles. She seemed unharmed, and managed to stand up to survey the wreck of her ship. The radio was still blurting random tunes that she'd found on the black market - vintage from 2017, on a CD and everything.

A thought entered her head, and she would have squeaked if she had been certain she was alone. What if she was in enemy territory? What if she'd crash landed on the planet she'd been patrol-

A sudden move to her left caused Elliot to lash out and swipe aggressively at the figure, but she had no control over her claws, and it was just a smack. Still hard.

"I'm sorry!" Elliot burst out, staring at the lion cub she had slapped. He was quite a bit taller than her, but lions seemed very big. At least they had in the books. The next few minutes happened in a blur with a small mouse-rat thing arriving, and someone commenting about her fur. These guys could talk... and they were animals. The once human female began to feel rather faint, but was soon bought back by an angry remark off a tiger.

"Hey, you wanna back up-" Elliot began, taking a step forwards and narrowing her eyes, cut off by an older sounding voice telling 'Naomi' to stop. Great. They had human names too. However, she felt grateful that this older male had arrived.

"I didn't mean to!" she said to Pluto, a little frustrated, her shoulders sagging to emphasise her point. At the second point, Elliot began to feel a bit bad and was going to reassure him when his dad arrived. Ohhhh crap. This guy was freaky.

"Yeah, I didn't mean to. Capiche?" she stated clearly, trying to hide the fact that she was absolutely terrified by using sarcasm. It often seemed to work for her, although a couple of people had managed to see through it before.

"I'm Elliot, I'm a pilot. That is- was my ship."

Elliot found herself grinning at Pluto's introduction, before it disappeared and she nodded instead. The wolf scrunched up her rainbow nose, before looking around.

"Windclan? What kind of a planet is that?" she asked, half jokingly and half genuinely. Windclan was an odd name for a territory, she thought - maybe it was another language. Could well be, but she was almost certain one of the scientists up on the base would have bought it up.

Elliot stared at Vader, taking it in with a small smirk forming on her face. "I'm probably a better pilot than you, Vader," she grinned, before turning to Pluto and chuckling slightly. This just made the young pilot want to annoy the lion even more.

"Yeah, this is my ship. It's called The Independence, mark 5 AC98 type light battle class. It flies in the sky and shoots stuff," Elliot said, hopping back over to the wreck and grabbing the end of a laser gun.

Elliot grinned at the reactions of the two others - if she was a human and her ship wasn't broken, she'd have leaned on it and winked. Currently, she had no idea how to do either of those. "Ha, I can't shoot it without the control system... and yeah, I'm gonna fix it. Indy's gonna fly again, I promise," she grinned, before leaning into the cockpit and frowning slightly at the damage that had been done and aimed to manually turn off the radio. As soon as she pressed it, the music grinded to a halt, ejecting the CD... and then the whole control panel.

Yet again, Elliot had been back to the wreck of her ship. She hadn't even attempted to fix it, but had instead looked around it, climbed in it and just generally scan it over. There was no point in trying to fix it when you couldn't see what the problem was.

After around an hour, the wolf had noticed Pluto a little way away; he was heading up the mountain. Elliot grinned, hopping out of the ship and bounding after him, desperate to catch up with the feline. She knew that she probably wouldn't, but a run would be good for her anyway.

Elliot managed to reach him at the top of the mountain, only to find that there were two other people there - Poppy and... Plu's sister? The pilot frowned slightly, coming to a stop next to Pluto. "What are they doing?" she whispered.

"Sensing the what now?" Elliot asked incredulously, staring between Plu and Alice with a raised brow. She had no idea what was going on, but it sounded hella weird. She decided to stick closer to Pluto, freaked out by what this 'force' thing was.

// #time for han solo quotes

Elliot would have laughed, but as soon as Vader arrived she became somewhat put off the idea. He really didn't seem like a jokey person - not that Elliot actually cared about his personality. It was just that she'd heard about his fight with Henry in the hall - she'd learned to listen to conversations in the base cantina when she was human - and was wary of him. She knew how strong he was, but... well, he wouldn't do anything to a friend of his son's. Would he?

"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side," she eventually offered, shrugging whilst smirking.

Henry seemed alright to Elliot. So she was nice to him. Simple.

"Sir, I don't wanna be rude or anything, but I really think the poppy seeds would help," she said, frowning sympathetically. She'd never broken anything - she'd sprained her wrist and ankle - so she had never experience that sort of pain. She sure as hell knew that she would like the seeds, though.

Eli arrived next to Pluto, wincing at the sight of Chai in a rather nasty state. The wince soon turned into a grin as she sat beside the chipmunk to support him.

She reached into her satchel, pulling out a hastily wrapped bar of chocolate. Pulling aside the silver foil, Elliot snapped off a piece of chocolate. "Hey Chai, do ya like chocolate?"

Elliot had followed Atticus up the hill, trailing a few metres behind - she had wanted to see what he was doing, the nosy little bugger, but hadn't wanted to interrupt him. As soon as Vader appeared, Elliot shrunk into the bushes before pouncing out as he insulted the pregnant dalmation.

The tall-for-her-age wolf skidded in front of Attie. "Leave him alone, alright! Just cos you're an emotionless tool doesn't mean everyone else is!" she cried out, sending Ollie a glare as he told everyone to calm down.

Now, it was perfectly obvious to most people that Elliot hated Vader... with a damn passion.

So, when an aggressive-looking dude showed up at the border and demanded for Vader, Elliot's ears perked up and she stopped repairing the engine that she'd bought into the camp from her ship. This was going to be... interesting.

Elliot bounded over, the goggles on her head slipping down slightly so they covered her eyes. A paw stretched up and pushed them back, catching slightly on the broken glass.

Elliot was about to send another quip Vader's way, but Atticus yelled out. This was rare - she'd never heard him yell before. It reminded her of her dad - he'd always been really calm, but the day that his best friend came back from a battle injured... he'd screamed and yelled for help. It had terrified her.

She slunk down, nodding to Oliver. "I'm sorry, Atticus," Elliot murmured, staring at her paws.
