The golden retriever wasn't normally one to stay in one clan for long; it was somewhat difficult to gain his allegiance and even harder to keep it due to his wandering ways. But now that he'd found Lucifer in the Elite, there was no way he was leaving. He had no clue what his future might hold being a member of both the Elite and StormClan--despite being able to see into the future, he hadn't thought to do so yet. Or perhaps he'd leave it alone. Whatever he may do, his future was set in stone, and he didn't know if he even actually wanted to know what would happen. Maybe he should just take life as it came. And besides, he didn't have nearly enough time or energy to do anything as taxing as searching the future. So instead of sitting back in the main camp of StormClan doing absolutely nothing, Gabriel decided to go out and wander the territory. This way, he could get more acquainted with the clan he was living in while also alleviating his boredom.

There's a tree, he thought to himself, and another. Yep, this is so much more interesting than sitting and doing nothing. Just as he was about to turn and head back to the main camp to try and initiate someone back there in a conversation, his nose caught the scent of something that he knew didn't belong there. It wasn't a member of StormClan, and it sure didn't smell like it could be a prey animal. So, being the responsible clan member he was, he followed it until he found the source--a feline who was definitely a stranger, yet was somehow familiar to Gabriel. He couldn't help but feel like he should know this Chuck, but his memories continued to evade him. They'd been slipping away lately like shadows into shade, and he had to be reminded of people he once knew. It was worrying him, even if he never let it show past his trickster facade. "Hey, I'm Gabriel," he greeted with a slight chuckle, mirth flashing in his cocoa-colored eyes at the feline's apparent awkwardness.

Hearing someone approach him and announce his name, the canine's ears pricked up with interest. They knew his name? He didn't know what to expect when he turned to look at who it was, but he sure didn't expect to see someone bowing to him. He also didn't expect her to recognize him, much less bow to him. "Oh, no need for that! Get up," he protested with a smile--no surprise there. When did he not have a grin on his face? He may be one of the most powerful of God's creations, but that didn't mean he commanded respect like half the others did. Bowing to him was a paltry action, one he didn't quite see the need for.

"Well, you know me, obviously...so what's your name?" Oh boy, he sure hoped he hadn't known her and forgotten her somehow. He'd been finding himself forgetting a lot lately, mostly names and faces of people he once knew. He'd been losing memories along with his power, and there seemed to be no solution to the anomaly.

Luckily for the Abyssinian, Gabriel was the one who noticed him. The mansion was quiet today, so it was no surprise that he was out and about, wandering the territory in search of something to do. Who knew, maybe he'd meet somebody out here and have a nice chat. And sure as shit, he smelled something off toward the border. "Hey! Who're you?" Along with the question of who the other was came the unspoken inquiry of why he was here. Though the retriever's tone was lighthearted, there was still that bit of steel showing beneath it. Of course, the warmth in his voice wasn't the easiest to see through, but it was surely marked with friendliness--he didn't care if this guy was here to attack him, but he was pretty sure he could handle himself. And besides, if he were here to attack, then why would he wait by the border instead of waltzing right on in?

Fawnpelt. It was a traditional clan name, one that seemed to fit her well, what with her pelt being about as golden as his own. But her name sparked nothing of any memory of her from anytime before--and she had shown no signs of being offended or confused by his lack of knowledge about her, so that was a good sign. No broken bonds there.

Sympathy broke his mischievous trickster façade when she spoke so desparately of Castiel, showing in his eyes as he shook his head apologetically. He hadn't seen his younger brother in ages, it seemed. Though that feeling could be attributed to his slight amnesia, he doubted it. He would know if he'd seen any of them lately, and in the case of Cas, he hadn't. "I don't know where he is; I'm sorry. But I'm sure...I'm sure he'll turn up sometime. If you're bonded like that, he'll surely know how to find you." That was, if he wasn't still possessed by a Leviathan. If he was, then it was probably for the best that he hadn't come around. But that thought didn't tone down the empathy he felt toward the female any. He knew what it was like to wait for someone, to spend every day hoping they might show up, and he could agree that it wasn't pleasant.

"Ya know, I miss him too," the golden-furred canine muttered, understanding the Enochian words for obvious reasons. It wasn't a lie; he missed all of them. They were family, whether anyone like it or not, and he wanted to see all of them again. Sure, he'd been reunited with Lucifer, but there were still tons of others he hadn't seen in a while--or couldn't even remember. His memory loss was surely one of the worst things to ever happen to him, and that was saying something; he'd lived for a long time and experienced a lot of things in that expansive lifetime. But now wasn't the time to dwell on his own problems. "I wish I could help you out, go out and track him down, but I can't." Not since whatever had happened that caused him to begin loosing his 'angel mojo'. Before, he could open entire universes with a thought, but now it took concentration to even conjure himself a lollipop.

Gabe wasn't all that surprised that this guy was here to join, seeing as he had the politeness to stay across the border. Politeness was a good sign--they shouldn't have any problems with this joiner. And with that in mind, he decided he could be more amiable toward Jupitertides. "Sure is," he confirmed the Abyssinian's question with a chuckle, casting a quick glance back to Lucifer. Then he figured that since the feline had, he could introduce himself in return. "I'm Gabriel, by the way. It's nice to meet you, Jupitertides."

He was being promoted to a Stylist? The thought brought a grin to the retriever's face, and he nodded with a short wag of his tail. "Yeah, I'll take it," he stated before giving Jupitertides a sidelong glance once he heard the feline's idea. "I agree; the idea of a party sounds pretty fun."
