Many males his age would never even have a second thought about wearing a flower crown, but of course, he was secure in his masculinity. And anyways, he was bored, so why not? "I want a flower crown," he announced with a grin, trotting over to the two. He hadn't met either of them before, as far as he could remember, so he was, of course, inclined to introduce himself. "I'm Gabriel, by the way."

i could keep running, hiding till they find me ( male - older than time - the elite - stormclan - archangel - tags ) The current leader of the Elite was almost always seen either wandering the territory or tidying things up in the mansion. At this time, it was the former. And when he wandered, he almost always ran into someone. That said, it didn't take long for the archangel to notice the fox stepping across the border and teleport closer. He could have walked the whole way, but he was tired. Being leader meant he had duties and responsibilities, and they included keeping the mansion intact--and that took a lot of time and energy, cleaning things up and repairing broken things. Sure, the mansion was meant to look ominous on the outside, but it had to at least be inhabitable on the inside. "Heya, buddy. Whoever you're looking for isn't here, at least not anymore," he called out as he padded over, his usual grin a bit strained as he laid eyes on Luca. Was his power at a low again? Because he didn't need sleep, yet he was more tired than he'd been in a long time.
"Name's Gabriel, by the way. I'm the leader here at the time. Though to be honest, there's not much to lead anymore. Who are you?" -
i could keep running, hiding till they find me ( male - older than time - the elite - stormclan - archangel - tags ) The canine's response to the statement was, of course, a somehow even broader smile. He was slightly surprised by the dogon's claim of wanting to join, but the grin never fell. It was partially habit for Gabe to be almost constantly smiling, anyway. "Well, then, welcome to the Elite! Do you want a tour of the place or anything?" He gave a wag of his tail before realizing that if he couldn't remember the dogon's name, the other might not know his name. "I'm Gabriel, by the way." -
i could keep running, hiding till they find me ( male - older than time - the elite - stormclan - archangel - tags ) The leader was unsure of whether or not to even read rhe contents of the envelope--that was, until he saw the GraveClan seal. Then he was more than eager to open the envelope and see what their ally had left. Golden-hued eyes scanned over the writing for a few moments before setting it back down where he had picked it up from, deciding to leave it there in case any of the other members of the Elite were to come across it. An ally meet and greet sounded like something they might enjoy, even if he was really only going for the sake of being polite--he was absolutely exhausted for some reason and interacting with others didn't really sound all that great, but it was better to surrender a few hours of rest in favor of strengthening alliances. It only took him a few seconds to remind himself where exactly GraveClan was, then the golden-furred canine was off. -
i could keep running, hiding till they find me ( male - older than time - the elite - stormclan - archangel - tags ) He was tired as it was, but even using a modicum of his power to teleport to GraveClan took a lot out of him. But the power drainage was worth it. The Elite was floundering, like a few other clans, and their alliances could eventually need to be called upon for assistance. And this meet and greet was definitely the way to build up those relations with allies. "Hey, got your note," he announced to the caracal--whom he recognized to be Ceasefire, likely the one who'd left the note--as he approached with his usual easy grin on his maw.

i could keep running, hide until they find me ( male - older than time - the elite - stormclan - archangel - tags ) At her expression and thanks as she took the lollipop, Gabe couldn't help but smile even wider. "No problem." The colors he'd named reminded her of the earth, treasure, and sunlight? Well, those could definitely be accurately applied to him as well He'd always thought of his wings when he thought of gold--unimaginative, sure, but true. And when he thought of dark brown, he mostly just saw trees and hills, and then the expansive plain of his own preferred place in heaven. Though it made him somewhat sad to think about that; he'd found that since finding himself resurrected in the body of a dog, heaven was an unreachable place. "I'll agree; I like pale purple more, too. I've always liked the sky's colors in between day and night." -
i could keep running, hide until they find me ( male - older than time - the elite - stormclan - archangel - tags ) As one of the only adults in the clan, of course the retriever felt it was his duty to simply smite all of the attackers at once. Unfortunately, his power had been running so ridiculously low lately that he wasn't even sure he had enough left to kill one of them. And if he did that, it would take all of his power. So it was time, he decided, to prove his physical strength. He spotted his clanmates each fighting their own battles--Blaze was busy guiding her daughter away, Kaleidoscope was fighting off some jackal-looking shit, and Featherpaw was already in the midst of a fight. He didn't want to make any redundant attacks, but he needed to somehow get them to leave. Or at least hold off their attacks for a few moments. So, naturally, he went for the one who seemed to be the ringleader of this whole thing. The multi-tailed fox.
Normally he would have simply spat out some sort of insult and just toyed with whoever he was attacking, but this was far too serious a situation for that kind of thing. And with his power at a low, he had less to rely on, so he had to be careful. So he would offer no words as he teleported past all the other BloodClanners to appear before V.KYUUKETSUKI , normally warm golden gaze hard and cold as ice as he attempted to shove the other backward with telekinesis. The combination of teleportation and telekinesis made his vision go slightly blurry for a moment, so he couldn't even be sure if his attack had hit, but at this point he didn't care. If he passed out, so be it. He was putting enough power into his attacks to fend off an entire clan. -
i could keep running, hiding till they find me ( male - older than time - the elite - stormclan - archangel - tags ) So he'd lived here before? Well, that was both interesting and embarrassing. The Elite was surely much more populated and stronger back then, he supposed. Gabe had been attempting to recruit new members and boost their reputation, but he was only one person--err, archangel. Despite his small wins such as becoming closer allies with GraveClan and the Rebellion, he still felt as though he had failed the clan. He'd known it was a bad idea for Lucifer to leave when his younger brother was the only high position present to take over as leader.
His smile faltered for a moment in order to be replaced by a somewhat sad look, then before you could say "exhausted and overworked", the bright grin was back. "It's great to meet you as well, Luca. Welcome back to the Elite." he responded smoothly, curled tail wagging vigorously. Luca wanted to stay? Of course, the leader's reply was obvious at this point. "Of course you can stay! We'd be glad to have you!" -
i could keep running, hide until they find me ( male - older than time - the elite - stormclan - archangel - tags ) Upon being instructed to write down his name, the archangel instead simply conjured a slip of paper with his name on it. Easy peasy. "Got it," he dropped it into the hat with a fluorish, grinning wildly as he did so. This group didn't seem like one he'd be able to do much with like he normally would, but it could always prove to be fun when made to sit in a den with someone for seven minutes.

i could keep running, hide until they find me ( male - older than time - the elite - stormclan - archangel - tags ) Benedict! He was close enough with his guess of Benvolio, though Benedict was definitely more fitting for the dogon. "Alright, Benedict. It's actually not too far. Giant mansion, pretty nice. Kind of dusty, but I'm getting it sorted out. Just follow me and we'll be there soon." He turned with another quick wag of his tail, navigating his way to the mansion by memory. He'd mapped out almost the entire territory by now, to his pleasure, and hoped the other Elitists would soon as well. "What brings you here, anyway? Just randomly decided to join?" He questioned over his shoulder, golden eyes showing just the slightest flint of intrigue.

i could keep running, hide until they find me ( male - older than time - the elite - stormclan - archangel - tags ) He was tired. He was battle-weary and all beaten up, long bleeding gashes across his muzzle and powers nowhere in sight to heal the scratches. His normally bright gold eyes were dull and bleary from exhaustion, and his head was pounding. But despite all this, he'd still managed to write out a note and leave it for the clan to hopefully find.
The note read:
"Hey guys, I'm sorry. I've screwed up before, but I've really gone and done it this time. I'm sorry for leaving so suddenly, but it's the only way I can think of to make things better. Blaze, I'm especially sorry for leaving you here to manage this clan full of kids all on your own--I know how having another adult around helps, but I can't stay. And you young'ns, don't be little rats, got it? I don't know many of you too well, but you're kids, and you better not drive poor Blazestar crazy. She needs to be sane when I eventually get back here."
By this point, the retriever was gone, his paws leading him to an unknown place, far out past the towering mountains in the distance.
