"Kate!" the child cried out in an exclamation of delight as he came to a rather abrupt halt besides Oliver, his emerald green gaze bright and full to the brim with excitement. He had been slightly disheartened when the female had headed off to live solely in Riverclan but that did not matter. At least she was swinging by to see them, even if the circumstances were more formal than the Hacksaw child would have liked them to be. That did not matter though. The youth was just glad to be able to see the former windclan medic's face once more. He did noticed however, that there was something that was a little off with the female but he was unsure what it actually was and because he was unable to put his paw on anything exact, he opted to not speak up about anything. He did not wish to jump to any conclusions and then potentially upset or offend the medic just in case he was being stupid and she was in fact perfectly fine. "It's nice to see you again! How are you?" he added, nodding slightly in agreement to the deputy's words in regards to the things that the female had also brought along, the dalmador's gaze very briefly lingering on the apparent invitations with their cutesy pirate illustrations before his attention shifted back to the messenger.

"Well then, it's nice to meet you Vilney. And that's alright, it's not your fault if you didn't notice the borders" the child chirped in his usual, optimistic tones, spouting reassurance in a way that reflected the fact that he was the type of being who saw mostly the good in those around him. Even if V had come with the intentions of harming them, he would have probably been able to conjure up some kind of mental conclusion as to why he had done so because he was well aware of the fact that even good beings were able to do something bad if it was for the right reasons. He would have been able to use that knowledge to help himself believe that the stranger, who this time had been identified to be Vilney, was not a bad individual. The fact that he had missed the border line that they had set up around their territory was a mishap that the youth was easily able to mentally gloss over seeing that it was more his clanmates fault for not properly securing the scents that defined their home from the outer lands surrounding them.

The dalmador was quickly able to conclude in his mind that V was not at fault and swiftly laid any doubts to rest, friendly expression still vibrant across his features. "Oh, can I help you out with anything or are you alright to go?" Melchoir added after a few silent moments to allow the other Windclanners to interact with the new coming kitsune before speaking up once more himself. He was not sure what services he would have been able to provide the other male with but, he had discovered that it was a polite thing to ask and wished to display himself as a very welcoming, cordial being to ensure that his new clanmate would not feel any major unease whilst settling into life at his birth home.

Melchoir remembered this guy very clearly from when he had opposed that weird guy who had thought that they would be able to take over Windclan. Yes, Mob had spoken out against it which had partially been the reason why he too had voiced his own harsh opinion on that situation that they had been in. He had matured and grown slightly since then and the other male was quite different however, the child was still able to quickly recall who the feline was that everyone was greeting and was therefore able to be bright in his approached with a light spring in his step.

"Ooo, welcome back to Windclan. Mob, right? I'm Melchoir, I don't think that we ever spoke when you was here before" the dalmador puppy chimed in as he drew to a stop besides Luke, body leaning forwards slightly as he peered up at the black scottish fold through bright emerald eyes. It was nice to see yet another former Windclanner returning back to where, Mel believed at least, they rightfully belonged. Maybe, even Kate would chose to come back too. That was a thought that even the optimistic child was quick to try and dismiss but he could not deny that it would have been nice to have her amongst them once more. But, she was not and the main focus at that moment in time for Melchoir was Mob whom he beamed up at in a friendly manner.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:#000000;][font=georgia] MELCHOIR HACKSAW - i can fly as long as i’m with you
For once, the young child was silent as he approached the scene unfolding before him. Melchoir had no outright opinion on the current topic at hand. He did not really have a place within the politics of Windclan seeing that he was both a young child and not a member of importance in regards to him being a normal, ordinary member. Kate had gone to Riverclan though and the thought that they had nearly been dropped to enemies by the group that the former medic had left them for left a sour taste within the youth's mouth. Not because he did not like the other clan. It was more that he did not want to be witness to such turmoil and manipulation. It seemed, from what he could tell, that Bloodclan had manipulated Riverclan in a way by using Windclan as a pawn in their games.

It was unfair but then again, so was life and although he really wanted to, he was not one to focus on and complain about the darkness that attempted to shroud the lighter, more vibrant aspects of life like having fun and laughter and making friends. His ears were angled against his head slightly as he came to stand besides his father, pressing very lightly against the older canine as he took in words about something that he did not understand. A thing called the Libra Alliance. It was a term that was entirely unknown to the youth seeing that he had not even been alive back then when it had been an enforced thing among the brighter groups and clans. It had sparked some sense of intrigue within him which was reflected through the slight glimmer of curiosity that had been ignited within his emerald gaze but he did not speak up about it, leaving his gaze fixed on the other leader from his space besides their own leader.

    //percival my child no

Melchoir could not deny the fact that he knew just how his brother felt. Although he was well aware of the fact that he was supposed to be happy and content with the fact that his parents were both now back in their rightful places, he still felt an emptiness within him. However, the sensation that he felt burning in his chest day by day was much different to his siblings. Where they felt sick of the constant daily rituals, he was more anxious and constantly paranoid that he was going to lose everything again. He only really had Percival now seeing that the rest of the litter were not really about all that much and like how he had, in a way, lost them, he did not want to lose this brother. It was the same feeling that he could relate to the thoughts about his parents. He had already lost Attie once and Henry had been hurt far too many times. The last thing that he needed was to loose his brother too.

"Percival? What are you doing?" the young dalmador inquired in a low, curious tone. However, he was not entirely sure whether he wished to know what thoughts were plaguing the mind of his sibling in fear that he was to hear something in response that he did not like. He had not expected to run into anyone at the the point that he had climbed to and had even less thought that he would stumble upon his brother, stood up on the top of one of the large shrines. A churning sensation of anxiety caused his stomach to lurch as he took a tentative step forwards, narrowed emerald gaze not shifting from his sibling as he craned his neck back in order to peer upwards at the other canine. This could only end badly, the child was almost certain of that.

//welcome back to windclan deerbae c:
    rest in peace mel's innocence

The Hacksaw child had not been too far off when he had caught the sound of a nearby conversation. Being the curious youth that he was, the canine found himself approaching the scene in a light jog, his gaze bright as he first regarded the familiar faces of his clanmates before he turned his attention onto the stranger, absorbing their words with clear interest. "What's a Windfucker? Am I one? Oh, I'm Melchoir Hacksaw by the way, it's nice to meet you mister Roosterteeth. Does that mean that you're a Windfucker now too?" the young child chimed in with a small, innocent little smile painted across his youthful features. He had not really been exposed to the vulgarity of profanities which was why he found himself testing out the word spoken by the stranger who had called themselves Roosterteeth. He saw nothing wrong with the words being spoken and if Kate was alright with this being and whatever they were saying then he saw absolutely no harm in reflected the things that had been said. He trusted Kate and he trusted her judgement.

His fictional brows were slightly furrowed as he contemplated the term when he noticed that there was some apparent conflict going on, nervously drawing his tongue over his lips as he looked with wide emerald eyes to Vader. "Hey now, that's not very nice" the child exclaimed, the dalmador pup's hackles raised slightly as he took a tentative step back from the scene. He was certain that Oliver would not be too happy to stumbled upon such a scene that had escalated quite rapidly, even if Roo had technically provoked Vader. It was a situation that could have been avoided and although he had no power to stop anything, he would still try.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:#000000;][font=georgia] MELCHOIR HACKSAW - i can fly as long as i’m with you
The sting of knowing that his father was no longer in charge and therefore now rarely around was something that he was not able to get over. He had barely been able to see either of his parents and now it was such a rare occurrence that he found himself not able to wish for their appearances anymore. He would just wait until their showed their faces again and then have to anxiously stick to their sides in fear that they would just leave him again. And, although Melchoir was certain that it would be so much easier to resent Oliver for replacing something that he believed should have never been replaced, he did not feel that way. There was not one single bone in the young canine's body that was capable of true loathing, even if thoughts would try to tell him otherwise. He was too full of hope to have any room for hate which was the primary reason behind the continued amiable actions towards the new leader. He had always liked the green griffin and found himself unable to physically or mentally feel anything other that that. Admiration and curious still seared through his veins when he looked upon the larger male. It was just the way that he felt and he knew that would never change. After all, it wasn't his fault and although the child wanted someone to blame, he could not place fault on the innocent.

"Hello mister Oliver. How are you doing?" the child started, his emerald gaze drifting across the crates and objects that he had been obviously moving. Right, it was about time that he moved. As the leader, it was only fair that he cemented his position as the leader by moving into his rightful place. The leader's chalet. The child felt a swaying sensation of nostalgia rock his lithe form as he stared for a few moments. He wouldn't be able to run in there anymore and mess around with his father. He would probably only be permitted to go there if he had news or ideas or something like that. Something serious and businesslike. Melchoir drew his tongue over his lips, blinking away the hazy thoughts as he tilted his head up to beam at the leader. "So you're moving in? Can I help? Please?" he hummed, drawing out the 'p' in please, his tail wagging to and fro in an aggressively cheery manner, hopeful grin parting his lips as he peered upwards.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:#000000;][font=georgia] MELCHOIR HACKSAW - i can fly as long as i’m with you
"Hello! Like Luke said, thanks for the stuff. It's really appreciated." the youth chimed in with a light nod of his head, emerald gaze bright as he peered at the unfamiliar face. He could tell that they had visited before from the way that the responded to Weed and the way that they acted upon the border. There was a sense of familiarity that they held in themselves where the stood on the border. It was nice though, even if they were not a familiar face to Melchoir. He would like to make them into a familiar face thought. "I'm Melchoir by the way, it's nice to meet you miss" the dalmador pup added, his tail wagging rather aggressively as he regarded the gift bearing being, cheerful grin plasters across his lips as he addressed them.

ahhh homestuck! i used to read it but i still haven't finished for some reason whoops. and, why don't you just do like an introduction so that everyone's under the assumption that they've already joined or something?

[center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:#000000;][font=georgia] MELCHOIR HACKSAW - i can fly as long as i’m with you
As an imaginative young child, he could not help but gawk in silent awe at the stranger, his emerald green gaze widened slightly as he peered upwards at the larger animal. He had not really interacted with many wildcats so the sight of a leopard was a foreign one to the young child. However, such a sight was not an unwelcome one to him and he found himself feeling rather giddy. This being could be here to join and then he would be able to see them a lot more. It was an exciting thought for the dalmador pup considering the fact that he was the type of being who sought after adventure and change. At least, he craved change that was not major in the way that it would affect him and his personal life. Melchoir remained silent despite his clear intrigue, gaze tracing the arches of the sparking blue lightly as he drew to a halt besides Weed, casting the guardian a very brief, questioning glance before he focused solely on the stranger. It was almost as if they had appeared from some alternate reality and although in his logical mind that was unlikely, it was still something that he could not help but speculate.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:#000000;][font=georgia] MELCHOIR HACKSAW - i can fly as long as i’m with you
"I think that it looked really cool" the young canine remarked in a bright, careful tone as he approached the scene. He would have drawn near earlier but Vader's appearance had drawn out nervousness from within the depths of the bold pup, causing his movements and determination to falter slightly. However, he had been able to pluck it back up swiftly and found himself slowing to a halt near the trio, a kind smile directed towards the two who had been manipulating the fire and sand to create the minature whirlwind which had caught his gaze. Such things would never cease to fascinate the child, especially considering the fact that he had quite a creative mind but did not hold any magical powers of his own. He was only able to stand by idly and marvel and the wonders that others were able to create. Not like he was jealous or anything, he enjoyed being able to admire the handiwork of others without being able to compare himself to them and their powers. It was nice to be unique in a powerless kind of way. "How did you do that? I'm Melchoir by the way" the dalmador chimed in once more, lips parted slightly in a light grin as his emerald gaze drifted briefly to the remains of their combined abilities. The thing that had caught his eyes had been snatched away from their reality so quickly. It was scary to think that it could be over that fast much like how life could be over in mere moments. However, he did his best to not allow his mind to dwell on such thoughts, remaining positive as he cast his attention back onto the apparent magicians before him.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:#000000;][font=georgia] MELCHOIR HACKSAW - i can fly as long as i’m with you
In a way, Percival was the more mature of the duo. The way that he held himself and reacted to certain situations was something that the young male would probably never be able to accomplish, no matter how hard he tried. Seeing that they were the only two really around anymore, it was the case that one was a lot more responsible than the other and the weak minded Melchoir tended to act more out of kindness and the fear of receiving negativity in comparison to his brother who acted based on his own reactions to things. He would always be the bright, naive, bubbly one. The immature one. But, it was not like that mattered, it just meant that he would probably look to his sibling for guidance more often than not. Melchoir was no less open to the concept of losing what had basically been their home than his brother but, unlike the other dalmador, he had a different way of reacting to and coping with the situation. There was already far too much conflict and problems going on around him and the youth did not want to add to those trouble and burden everyone further by outwardly protesting against Oliver and his leadership. He turned his emerald gaze onto his sibling as the male came to stand besides him, leaning to the side slightly, very lightly brushing against the other canine in a silent gesture of both greeting and questioning.

He could tell from the way that he had approached the other canine was begrudgingly accepting the fact that Oliver was moving into the place where they had previously resided. He bit down lightly on his tongue as he peered at his brother for a few moments, wondering whether it would be better for him to instead make up an excuse against assisting and leaving the scene. But, Melchoir was not the best liar and he had already been so insistent that he wished to help out that he would make himself look stupid if he walked away now. "Right, I got it" he hummed lightly as he moved to sling the quiver over his back, the object quite large in comparison to him. He took a few steps to steady himself, drawing in a deep breath as he did so. He glanced over to Percival for a few moments before he averted his gaze, his brothers presence cementing a sense of faint reluctance within the youth's mind.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:#000000;][font=georgia] MELCHOIR HACKSAW - i can fly as long as i’m with you
He had heard about the extremely dangerous wildcat traversing their territory, a feral creature that was different to them in the sense that it was not able to be capable of complete logical thought. It was scary to think of really and the youth had found himself being a lot more anxious when travelling around to do things such as patrol the border or even just go to get a drink or something. It was nerve wrecking to think that at any moment, a massive creature could pounce upon him and snap his spine in a matter of mere moments. It seemed however, that his sibling had very opposite ideas to him and that made him worried, his concern clearly evident as he approached the small group.

"Come on Percival, don't do anything dangerous" the child muttered softly to his brother, cautious emerald gaze flickering between his sibling and the large wildcat that posed quite the threat to them. In his eyes, this was a very dangerous thing for the other youth to do. Even if he was just observing, there was still the chance that the beast could detect him and sink its fangs into his flesh in mere seconds. Even the vague thought of stumbling across his brother's mangled corpse sent violent shivers down the honorguard's spine. He knew that it was a bit too late for him to be trying to stop his sibling from doing anything stupid or reckless after seeing the way that he was on top of that shrine but he felt that he could instead learn from that experience and do what he could possibly to do keep the other Hacksaw out of as much trouble as he could. They only had each other at that moment in time and he was not sure what he would do if he was to lose his last relative, especially in such a brutal way like being killed by a cougar.

right, so i was meant to post this the other day but i forgot. i'm currently in the midst of exams which is physically and emotionally draining meaning i haven't really had the time to post with melchoir. i'll try to get some stuff out this weekend to make up for it but i felt like a notice was needed to justify my lack of activity c:

i'll try to get about more but at the moment my exams, although they are mocks, are still my priorities. thanks for taking the time to read this <3

[center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:#000000;][font=georgia] MELCHOIR HACKSAW - i can fly as long as i’m with you
She reminded him a little bit of his own sister and the youth felt a sharp sensation of sorrow flooding through his body. He had not seen Clara for god knows how long and it was saddening to even though of his lion loving sibling. Despite them not really interacting all that much, the dalmador pup still missed her. All he had was Percival and he did not intend on allowing the other male to slip from him either. He cast Jazlyn a bright smile as he came to stand besides Luke, brushing the thoughts from his mind in an attempt to regain his usual optimism.

"Of course, you're allowed to stay here for as long as you like! Welcome to Windclan, Jazlyn. I'm Melchoir, it's nice to meet you." the honorguard chimed in as he peered at the unfamiliar face with a spark of curiosity in his emerald gaze. He soaked up their words for a few moments, contemplating what they were saying. So, they were lost and looking for their home but willing to stay in Windclan until they did so? It greatly intrigued the extremely inquisitive youth and although he did not wish to pry he still wanted to find more out.

"Do you remember where you are from? Maybe we could help you to get back there" the canine added in a hopeful tone, tail wagging slightly as the idea of assisting this new potential friend blossomed clearly within his young mind. He would not mind her departure if they did find her home because even if she did not stay in Windclan, at least it meant that she would be able to be happy. He glanced over to his fellow clanmates as if seeking agreement to his own words before emerald eyes focused back onto the kitten, friendly, positive expression still present on his face as he did so.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;color:#000000;][font=georgia] MELCHOIR HACKSAW - i can fly as long as i’m with you
"Jazlyn?" the small canine echoed with a small frown physically reflecting his thoughts as he took a few moments to think the name over in his head. Right, was Jazlyn not that young girl who had arrived the other day looking for a place to stay whilst searching for her home, the place that she had lost. This appeared to be her sibling which only lead to him coming to the conclusion that this being too had gotten lost. "Yeah! I know her, she's safe and around here somewhere. Probably back at camp or something. She might come over here but there's a chance that you would actually have to come to our camp to see her" the youth hummed, head tilted as a bright smile overtook the contemplative expression that had previously engulfed his facial features. He regarded the other child through bright, interested emerald eyes.

They did not seemed to be all that confident despite the way that they had initially held themselves and although Melchoir was a similar size to them, he found himself instinctively sitting down as if such an action would soothe them in some way despite it not really making that much of a difference. "Oh, I'm Melchoir, who are you?" he asked with a genuinely interested smile dancing at the corners of his lips. That was the right thing to do, right? Ask for their name when it had not been given. It did not look like they posed much of a threat seeing that they had only come to see their sibling. He glanced over to Luke with a flick of his ear, unsure of what course of action to take now. What was the protocol for such situations? He had absolutely no idea and hoped that the guardian was better suited for such things, casting the unfamiliar face a bright smile as he did so.

MELCHOIR HACKSAW - i can fly as long as i’m with you
Melchoir slipped over. He noticed his sibling's gaze, fictional brows quirked in silent curiosity as he slipped over to the other canine and sat down besides them, flashing the other male a very brief smile before focusing his attention onto Oliver. Luckily, the youth had arrived just in time to catch the start of the meeting and although he was sat quite straight, businesslike even, there was still a small sense of childlike eagerness present within his posture and overall demeanour as if to constantly remind those around him that he was in actual fact just an excitable little pup. An intrigued frown creased his features up and he found himself nodding every so often as if confirming to himself that he was actually listening to what was going on and taking in information. So, there was a cougar, a threat that he was already well aware of, and also the looming risk of a potentially dangerous storm. It was quite unsettling to the youth but he did not comment on it, opting to instead merely dip his head. So many bad things had been going on and he had no idea how he would be able to put up with it all.
