CAPITALISM KILLS — loveletter — blizzardclan — she/her — tags
She was still breathing in the grass, as if it were euphoric, up until she hard a thick russian accent sound above her. Cocking a brow, the calico tilted her head till her sunken yellow eyes, the color of molten gold, could take him in fully. She offered her signature smile, something he wouldn't recognize but something her other clanmates might. "Hey buddy, just the myth, the legend, Loveletter in the flesh," she started, slowly, achingly pulling herself up so she was sitting. She looked as if she had gone through the wash three times in succession, for her cheeks were shallow, her eyes hollow, and her flank hugging her ribs. Even so, she seemed to be able to joke. "I'm about as rare as a cryptid. Mind taking me in again?"
She seemed to yawn and the bags beneath her cloudy golden eyes seemed only to amplify and grow once she noticed Jerseyboy slip from the shadows of the forest. She grinned at the sight, though she seemed tired. "I took a vacation to Hell," she answered with a wink, keeping her reasons for disappearing vague. "Satan has a nice cabana on the beach. It's really very pleasant and warm, especially with the music made of damned souls." now her jokes just seemed dark, but she really couldn't help it. It was almost as if she was able to make a joke out of anything, even something like the literal Devil. She smiled at the thought, though she cast her eyes across Jerseyboy, as if scanning for something. She hoped nothing changed. She didn't like change.
Finally, there was Pierce. The guy was pleasant, if a bit quiet, and Loveletter did like him, though she seemed to be searching for someone else, as her eyes often strayed to look deeper into the forest. Distracted by the memories and desperately hoping everything would be the same, she glanced back to Pierce and grinned, trying not to remember her little fall from grace a few months ago. She was unsure if her ribs were healed or not, for it still hurt to breathe. "I just broke every bone in my body, no biggie," she responded, the smirk upon her face indicating she may be joking, but the glimmer in her eyes telling a different story. Perhaps she really did break every bone in her body, but who could tell? "So, what's goin on here? Any bid secrets? Drama? If you guys don't tell all I'll be forced to eavesdrop."
