  • Girl Gang Galavants through Ganima {Sign-up!}

    Here is the sign-up for a lovely adventure. You are a creature of your own making in Varis, Ganima (map shown below).



    I will add to this map as our group advances through the country, but our starting point is indeed, in the country's capital, Varis.
    Ganima's universe is that of a magical one, where sorcerers, strange creatures, and oddly enough, equality exists. Think of this similar to the format of D&D where I am the DM: I create the world and the 'NPCs' while my character and you all find your own journey within this world.


    So our story (which we can plot on a separate thread) begins with our people enjoying the beautiful lake-front Varis when by chance they are brought together and soon decide to embark on an adventure for the sake of having a damn good time. Or perhaps some more personal motives i.e. finding one's self, treasure, their father. That's up to you. And who knows, maybe one, or two, or more will fall for each other. Or maybe they'll just screw around-- regardless, it's going to be a blast.


    Will you join us? Once you are accepted, I will give you a link privately to a thread where we can world build and build relationships with our characters. Once at least four people join we will start the roleplay. But of course, all are welcome, regardless of when they join.


    Note: There is an emphasis in this diverse roleplay on queer individuals and poly relationships. Of course, your character isn't bound to either of these things, but these are meant to be motifs.


    I also intend to create a list of species for this universe. Feel free to create your own creature or choose one I have already recorded below the form.
    I intend to do a lot of world building in general...

    Dark Elf
    Well built but with a feminine shape. Large hips and thighs, smaller torso and upper body.
    Lungs are too small so her body often resorts to fermentation to function properly... Terisa eats an abnormal amount of food to make up for her fast metabolism. She is naturally strong in addition to vigorous training. She also has immunities to many poisons. Without food she becomes fatigued and unsociable. Not very endurant.

    Some comrades in the guard force are her friends, but not many else anymore. She considers pretty much everyone her friend, though.

    She has no enemies yet that she's aware of. She might've made someone angry but she doesn't remember.


    Doughy lived on the streets for the first few years of her life, but doesn't remember much of it. According to her foster family, who owned a bakery, she had gotten through half of all of their dough before they found her in the back of their shop. They took her in, and raised her until she was 16. Then, she was drafted to go to the capital as a guard, since the threat of invaders and pirates were prominent at the time. The threat has since been gone, but even when her post permitted her to visit Basca, when she checked the bakery, it was abandoned. So, she had been absently doing her job until the thought of deserting the military was planted in her head. Her contract still has 7 more years left on it, but since she's only a low rank, and the record keeping in Gamina isn't so great, it's possible that she could escape. Sure, she'd be an outlaw, but Doughy wants to live her own life... especially since Gamina's nobles are corrupt, anyways. There is no good reason to guard them. She plans to talk to people in the tavern, The Demon's Meadhall, and find a good way to start a life as an adventurer. Perhaps she will even find someone to go with.

    Description/Looks/Scars (You an use a picture if you'd like):

    He has scars all over his body. White scars, long seams with strange, fleshy bumps as if something went wrong while stitching them. Some are circular. He has shrapnel like bumps growing out of his back and up along the sides of his face.
    Personality/Attitude: Eian tries to make the people around him laugh as to distract him and those around him from pain. He's not very socially adept, and doesn't quite know when to stop talking, but, he cares. He's an anxious person and cares what others think of him. Regardless of his insecurities, he comes off as a warm and friendly man. He sees the good in all those around him and loves to compliment and give gifts. He can be insensitive when people become uncomfortable in ways he doesn't understand, but he tries to learn when he realizes he has hurt them. He tries to make others come out of their shells.
    Skills/Talents: The strange experiments performed on Eian have made him very capable at heavy lifting. He's not very fast, as his heart has been manipulated to make him stronger and he gets tired easier when he is exerted cardioactively. However when he is focused and under control, he is a force to be reckoned with.
    Hobbies/Interests: He loves plants. Eian wants to learn about botany and the way that plants are alive and yet so different than the rest of living things.
    Philosophy of Life: It is a choice to be happy.
    Education/Special Training: Eian was simply an experiment on human strength. He was not trained very much, except physically. He is simply a heavy lifter, and although he could use his strength as a weapon and a great tool, he's never harmed a single scientist.
