    DANCING TIL' THE DAWN — eggpaw — blizzardclan — medic trainee

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]"Oh! Thank you!" Eggie wasnt even sure what his own favorite color was- they all seemed pretty to him- so that made sense. He smiled gratefully, turning to look through the pile until he pulled up a lavender-colored cable knit sweater. Pulling it on over his head, he purred; although with his long fur there was really no need for a sweater to keep warm, it was still soft and comfortable to wear.

The young medic trainee padded into the den where he had been summoned to. Being called in like this worried him a little bit; he was afraid he was in trouble, although he couldn't think of something he would be in trouble for. He didn't really break rules. Nevertheless Eggpaw sat down near Iselotta, dipping his head to the two authoritative figures. "Good morning!"

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]At first the boy didn't hear her call for Easter egg painting, but his ears involuntarily went up alertly as he picked up faintly on someone saying 'egg'. Was someone calling him? There it was again, egg, egg, egg! He padded towards the others before spotting their collections of egg cartons and food dye, a frown growing on his face. Eggie had never actually experienced Easter before, and didn't know what it was. He arrived just in time to hear Jerseyboy's explanation though, and nodded in understanding. "Oh, well then, I'll decorate one! Wait, they're hardboiled, right? I dont wanna drop any and make a huge mess." As he was saying this he reached to a carton and carefully cupped an egg between his paws, sitting back down and looking over his chosen one. This could have been an adorable baby chick... now he was worried it was gonna be a splat yolk on the ground.

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Eggpaw had been down the stairs of the island that day, looking through the brush for herbs he might be able to identify, when something began to tremble beneath his paws. At first he dismissed it as losing his own footing, but the rhythmic tremors on the ground nearly knocked him over, as if someone huge was stomping its feet down on the ground. Then the sounds of trees being shattered where they stood came within earshot, as well as a faint but harsh hissing, similar to a pot's whistle when he made tea. At this point he could think of no explanation for the strange occurrences and was full of terrified curiosity at the noises, so he began to stalk towards its source.

    Now, Eggpaw had always been a little bigger than others his age, and he had only recently been introduced to animals larger than a medium sized dog- lions, leopards, etc. Even their size was stunning to him, and so to see a creature as large as the metallic tiger nearly gave the 7 month old a heart attack. The medic trainee stood behind a tree, watching it walk from afar out of its path. Having lived in a city for most of his life he could recognize a machine when he saw one, but this was like no other he had seen before. It was like a huge animal, but with an unfriendly smell and an emotionless, cold feel. The Norwegian forest cat breathed out in a whisper, "Je n’en crois pas mes yeux..." What was the drill for seeing large mechanical cats out in the territory? He wasn't gonna go talk to it, and could only imagine what kind of destruction it was meant for and why it was on Blizzardclan territory. For now he looked from side to side for other Blizzardclanners- as if they could do anything about this!- and tried not to be spotted.

    The sound of an earsplitting screech filled Eggpaw's ears as he trotted through the territory in search of herbs, green eyes clouding with worry as he recognized the voice to belong to someone very young. Immediately he dashed towards the noise, stopping beside Witchkit and placing the few herbs he had gathered beside him. Oh, shit.. Was there no one supervising this child? He glanced at Venta and Pierce- they seemed like they had just gotten there, and probably didnt know what happened- then began looking over the injuries.

    Blood was trailing from his head, flooding from a large gash that was accompanied by a bruise- and taking into consideration the snapped branch from the tree, it looked like Witchkit definitely fell. However, when he felt the kit's pulse he was still warm and his heartbeat continued. So he wasn't dead, that was good. Luckily he had seen this before from Venta's own concussion, so he knew to try to place his paws on Witch's head, keeping it steady in case there was a spinal injury. The wound itself looked bad, and he wasn't sure if the skull had survived it untouched. That wasn't something he knew how to fix, if it was even fixable. "Heck.. could someone get Lottie please? Quickly." He talked quickly, keeping the kit's head steady as he took a bit of wet moss he had found while searching earlier and trying to carefully clean some blood off the wound so he could see it better, remember what Iselotta had done to see that one person's eye earlier.

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Herb collecting was something Eggie did often on his own already- surprisingly often, actually. It was almost shocking to the male how his priorities had changed, how even his hobbies were different. Regardless, it wasn't easy to have too much, as long as you didn't clear the territory completely of plants. He padded up, looking curious at how many people had volunteered to accompany Ben but not questioning it. There sure were a lot of people in Blizzardclan.. "Ooo, I'll join too!" This might be helpful to him, actually. With Iselotta balancing duties and training the trainees, it would be good to get some extra help to lighten the load or whatever.

    [center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]Eggpaw had been gone from camp for hours now, having disappeared early that morning- he always was a bit of an early bird, and had left by at least 6 AM. He was now back, lounging happily in camp and seemingly looking at someone.. unfamiliar. It was a green iguana, but it was only one year old so it wasn't very large, only standing at about Eggpaw's forearm. The green reptile slept lazily on Eggie's fluffy back as the apprentice struggled a bit with standing upright, since the lizard was so large. At first it had been apprehensive, but once they reached Blizzardclan's freezing old territory the cold-blooded creature had scrambled right up his leg and decided his warm back was the best place to stay. This wasn't just some random lizard he had found, though- some Bloodclanner had started up some kind of companion-pet rescue thing, for rehabilitation and adoption. Egg was pretty sure his name was Joseph, the one who had started up Sanguine Companions, which was where the iguana had come from.

    Right now the cream-colored feline simply stood up, looking around before nudging the sleeping lizard. "Psst! Wake up, come on, please?" It grunted angrily, rolling over in protest- right onto the ground. Despite Eggie's worried noise, it flipped back onto its feet immediately, shooting him an angry glare. "Oh, uh, sorry. Welcome to your new home, Roderick! You like it?" The question only prompted an indifferent grunt, and the lizard- Roderick- looked around himself at the magical woodland before sitting on the ground and looking back at Eggie. "It's pretty cool, right?... Okay, well, wait til you meet my friends here. You'll like them." This also was met with skepticism, to Eggpaw's dismay. This would take time for Roderick to get used to, but he had no doubts that after a while he would warm up to the place.

    [center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]//named Eliott for this c:

    The tall 18 year old followed closely after Frank, walking through the door as it hung open from being dramatically burst through earlier. Eliott grinned widely, pulling down the hood of his jacket to show his messy pale blonde hair. "Hey guys! Hah, I'm not late, am I? Oh, hey, Dey, thanks for inviting me!" They didn't look like they were doing anything right now, with Pierce and Miles talking and Frank and Tommy drinking- something he couldn't do. He could have fun without alcohol, though, and not that he was a troublemaker or anything, but since his parents were literally in another country he could drink if he really wanted to. It still wasn't healthy, so he probably wouldn't anyway.

    [center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]He looked over to Germanicus as he approached, taking immediate notice of the small bird perched on his shoulder. So he had a pet too! Eggie had never seen German's pet before. Apparently nobody had seen an iguana before, though, which he didn't understand. Well, maybe the rainforest-dwelling creature wasn't often seen by animals who only knew what the wild places they went contained. He lived in a city before so he saw lots of domestic animals that really didn't belong there. Acknowledging both Sylmae's and Germanicus's, he answered, "He's my pet, Roderick, and he's an iguana! It's like a lizard, but they get super big- a little bigger than me, once he's three or four years old. Oh, and if you didn't know, cause some people don't, pets are like prey animals you take care of and stuff. "
