THIS IS HOW IT'S GONNA BE

Val had come all the way from Riverclan, eager to see just what this was about. The panther looked around the room, taking in the details. After, he decided to sit down in a secluded corner, away from most of the others. He had a good view of the court, and the intrigue was making him curious.

Another lesson done, Valentine thought to himself. As a rather energetic English teacher, his lessons did tend to be fairly tiring. He'd just completed teaching a younger group about Macbeth by getting them to perfect the murder plans. At least he knew the scary students now. He'd mark their tests well...

Heading into the staff room, Val grinned and whipped up a coffee. He didn't know who's is was, but he took a sip of it. Cold. He groaned audibly.

Val smirked, although he was thinking about Esca. He didn't want to appear too friendly with Kate, but he assured himself it was just a bit of light hearted banter. "This old fool, hmm," he grinned, rolling his eyes.

Val stared as numerous people entered, murmuring a greeting to Arcane. He cleared his throat, before standing up straight. "Anyone want a drink?" he asked, eyes settling on Esca as she approached. A smirk formed on his face, and he winked at her.

The panther materialized out of thin air in front of Rick, red eyes somehow conveying amusement. "Depends whatcha want her for," he said slyly, gesturing that the male should continue. Ever since Esca's attack, Val had become a lot more rigorous in checking people on the border. Especially people who didn't want to join, and people who were looking for someone. So much trouble could be caused by handing over a single soul, and Val didn't even want to think of it.

Val arrived silently. He'd changed into his hellhound body for today, as he found it easier to move around in. His fur looked remarkably clean, as if he was genuinely trying to make an impression. He had no clue how to dance, but the drinks looked good. The hellhound padded over, taking a sip of one of the alcoholic beverages, leaning back on the table. He wanted to talk to someone, and made it clear by attempting to make eye contact with the others around.

Of course Val heard the yell of "doggie" but didn't attribute it to himself until a paw began to slap at his head. The hellhound winced and looked up to see a rather small serval - childlike - patting him. Val smiled - he had a soft spot for kids. "I sure do like it, what's ya name?" he grinned, before deciding to introduce himself. "I'm called Val."

He'd heard the yells and arrived as soon as possible. It reminded the hellhound of when Esca had been hurt, all the yelling he'd heard then. Val hoped it wasn't the same sort of scenario, but he couldn't be sure. The yelling was both angry and pitiful and sad and murderous and he couldn't combine the emotions into one word.

As he entered, he noticed everything. Noticed the blood. Noticed Titan. Noticed the bodies. He put two and two together.

Val launched at Titan, aiming to disarm the male with a bite to his paw.

The large brute appeared behind the feline in almost silence. He'd been working on his teleportation skills, and was pretty sure that he knew how to make himself silent. Oh well, the stranger would find out anyway. Valentine felt a smirk form on his muzzle, and leaned forwards slightly. "Boo," he whispered in the ear of the apprentice, before teleporting to the front of the arrival and deciding to introduce himself. He'd had his fun, and now he was bored. "I'm Val. You are?" he asked.

//probably around 2 foot bigger than a normal wolf

Val didn't know why, but he had a bad feeling about this day. Maybe it was the murky grey sky giving him the headache - he'd always been prone to migraines since he was young. Of course, his family had acted like they hadn't existed, but, he got used to it eventually.

The hellhound had decided to head along the border, scouting mainly for any rogues or new members. With the arrival of the End Game, one could never be too careful. They had no set look, no similar species. That was it - you were either one of them, or you weren't.

Had he known that the threat would come from another clan, maybe Valentine wouldn't have set out that day.
