Val arrived on his phone, grinning slightly at whatever message he had just received. Without looking up, the male saluted mockingly and grabbed a piece of pizza.

"I'm amazing, you know that," Val grinned towards Esca after she shot him a really annoyed look. He grabbed another slice of the pizza, legit putting the whole piece into his mouth in one go. He was hella confident whilst talking, but the big mouth also came in handy when he was eating food.

Val smirked. "It's not really my name, my family tree is messed up," he explained, wracking his brain for some sort of example he could use to describe his situation without actually telling this stranger what was going on. Suddenly, it dawned on him.
"Think of me as Sirius Black."

"I'm not a human, you idiot. I'm a ddeemmoonn," Val said, waving his hands in the air as if to symbolise supernatural things.

Val laughed incredibly loudly, before winking towards Jasper. He liked the sense of humour the male had, even if it was a tiny bit rude. Meh, it wasn't rude to him at all - it was basic fact.
There was suddenly a loud padding sound, and the tall male turned just in time to get basically punched in the mouth by a dog. "What the fu-" he began, before getting cut off by the giant beast licking his face. Val leaned back, grinning but confused - eventually, he somehow managed to prize the dog off of him, and kept him down with a firm hand that was patting his head and back.
"Thanks Esca, I feel really loved."

Crap, he didn't understand. Val sighed.
"I'm from Riverclan, you?" he inquired, sitting down and nibbling his shoulder, trying to stop the itch that was growing there.

Val saluted, petting the dog one more time before it was sent back to Esca.
He walked forwards to be next to Esca, looking around slightly. "You got any squash?"

Val stared, before practically catching the carton of juice and pulling it into his chest. He opened the side, grabbing a straw from his pocket and sliding it into the gap - why he had straws in his pocket, he didn't actually know.
"Thanks Esca, although this is probably spiked with vodka or sommat."

Val quietly entered the room, not wanting to sit in the chair next to the bed. He didn't know Mark that well - it was reserved for people that did know him, people that loved him.
"I, umm, I heard that some people can hear when they're in comas. So, if you can hear me..." he trailed off slightly, before clearing his voice. "You better get well soon, Mark, or... there are gonna be some pretty sad people here."

Val hobbled over, lazily sitting down with his legs at a fourty five degree angle to his body.

Val turned towards Esca as she spoke, smiling gently. She was going through a lot with the pregnancy, and also with Mark being in a coma.

Val bit his tongue as Esca pressed against him, finally understanding just how much this guy actually meant to her.
He didn't say anything, although his head was furiously screaming - Mark wake up, please, you have to.

Valentine raised his eyebrows. "Am I literally not allowed to smile?" he joked, scowling mockingly. Whilst the male could be incredibly snappy and even borderline spiteful, he was hella sarcastic.

"Can't I just smile at the glorious loveliness of life?" he said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. Damn. Either Val was being more snappy than usual, or Esca was being hella annoying - the hellhound thought that the first option was quite possibly the most likely.

Val grinned as his name was read out for a promotion, and dipped his head.

Val knew there were more clans, but he had no idea what the names of them were. Hawkclan sounded... cool, really, and the male grinned. "Yeah, it's kinda... weird at the moment. We have a possessed guy who's normally real nice," he shrugged, before smirking and indicating Lucifer should answer the question too.

The student nurse looked up as two people entered, sending them a smile. Mark had had a lot of guests recently - and those had just been in the few minutes that he'd been doing observations. "Do you want to be left alone? Or can I just finish these obs? It will take me a minute and three seconds," he asked - mainly directing it towards the female... damn, she was-
Valentine stopped right there, and blinked.

Val had been visiting Mark at irregular intervals - reading his cards out to him and describing what the day had been like. He... he didn't know what to do other than that.
He'd been heading along to describe the day when he saw Esca rush in. Intrigued, the male sped up and entered the room to see Esca smothering Mark. He grinned, clearly the latter was now awake.
