    Trying her best to hold in laughter as she watched them arguing about whether or not to play Spin the Bottle, Alana stood by the side with water in her hand. She didn't like losing her judgement and doing crazy things at night, feeling like everything she did was held only accountable by herself. At the arrival of Allan, she waved towards him with a small, but confident smile before turning her attention away towards the slightly drunk and slightly more drunk Himiko and Titan. It was nice just being an observer on the sidelines since she didn't know anyone yet, and didn't have any plans to change that fact tonight.

    "Hi there, I guess. My name's Alana, although I guess you guys are a fan of nicknames and all," the tortoiseshell apprentice stated, glancing from the smaller, yet larger than her, canine to the much-larger-than-her snow leopard. It was a bit daunting to be surrounded by everyone who was bigger than her, but she had always been skilled at keeping her emotions hidden and nerves calm during pressuring situations. "So what I meant was that you could call me Ally, if you want," she added, lowering her steely pine green gaze. She had seen Ivylee around during other interactions before, but this was the first time she was meeting Titan's acquaintance. So far, she liked what she saw around in RiverClan.

    "Thanks! Nice to meet you too, Croc," Alana responded with a lighthearted voice as she faced the white wolf. "That's a pretty cool tail you got there. Were you born with it?" she inquired, all the more curious to learn about her Clanmates. Hopefully, it wasn't some sensitive subject, because it seemed like some cool superpower, but she was always straightforward and bold.

    Faintly surprised as the other girl approached her, she shifted her slouched position to a more upright one and smiled politely. "Yeah!" Alana responded, glancing around and nodding in confirmation before adding, "I'm Alana, kind of just moved here recently. What's your name?" Inwardly, she was thrilled to be making conversation with someone new. As for drama, she had met her fair share of that in a previous lifetime, so Alana understood that nothing was really taken seriously when alcohol was inhibiting their better judgements.

    Remembering a painful event regarding trying out a piece of KitKat that a human had recklessly tossed out of their car window, Alana watched the treats with more caution as she approached the duo. Black nose twitching as she got a whiff of the sweet and chocolatey aroma, she strode towards Croc and the other unfamiliar child with a small smile of greeting. "The last one I ate tasted good, and it had a crunchy bit inside as well with candy coating on the outside," Alana tried to explain, even though it followed with horrible digestive problems for days. Seeing that the smaller female was also more cautious of eating the treats, the tortoiseshell apprentice would warn, "I had an upset stomach after eating one of them, but it tasted great if that helps." It was one of those experiences were they had to try it to see for themselves, but if Rosewater wanted to stay out on the sidelines, Alana was cool with that.

    We gotta do an underwater breathing contest PLEASEEE
    There was nothing worse than being the new kid. Alana got it. It was bad enough eighty years later, and still pretty bad now. She was used to it by now, but maybe it was time to gain the trust and friendship of a few members in order to stretch her influence farther into the Clan and create a sphere of friends. Spotting Rivulet, she would approach him with a confident grin and greet him with a friendly, "Hi! I'm Alana, what's your name? I think I've seen you around, but I haven't gotten the chance to get to know you yet. By the way, I think your fins are really cool," the outgoing tortoiseshell apprentice added with a hint of shyness at the last compliment, a flaw of hers surfacing despite her confident image. Even through living past the span of a lifetime, her heart was still fragile and hesitant at the possibility of rejection.

    Being so new to the Clan, Alana hadn't really had time to try finding mentors or training on her own yet. One similarity she had noticed (and admired) among her Clanmates were their well formed, taut muscles that had built up over moons or years of swimming. "If it's not too much of a bother or a strange request, I would love to go swimming or just hang out with you some time. I haven't swam yet, maybe out of a slight fear of drowning," Alana admitted, trying to share a small piece of her worry with the more experienced member.

    Attending her first meeting, Alana sat off to the side and yawned, tired from her recent trip exploring the territory. Looking around, she realized that there was a portion of her Clanmates that were covered with injuries from their most recent raid. She felt a twinge of guilt for not joining along, but it seemed like it had taken place before she arrived. In addition to that, she was not as eager to fight, knowing that there were many creatures thrice times or more her size out in other Clans. It was almost a death wish to fight, but her mind was already filled with images of blood splatter and war. Nothing made her shudder the way blood being spilled under her snow white paws did.

    "Well we should be considerate of all the people in camp before blasting it out. The elders or queens who want to rest may not appreciate as well as the rest of us," Alana stated simply, standing by her reasoning. "If 'fun-sucking' means being considerate of other members of the Clan who may be too shy or tired to speak their mind, then by all means, I'll treat that as a compliment." However, she wasn't going to push this matter any further if Hudson didn't wish to comply with her request, since she couldn't make him do anything.

    "What's your name again?" Alana asked, being the first to arrive. There were a lot of faces around here, and she couldn't really remember everyone's name the first time around. Being the bold one, however, Alana wasn't afraid to make mistakes and try again and again until she got things right. While she liked talking and socializing as well, it was more like a pastime event to recharge her batteries. Alana wasn't overly attached to making new friends, but it would be nice to get to know some of the Clan members better.

    "Hey, Rivulet. Nice set up here," Alana commented as she passed by, having taken small glances here and there throughout the day, intrigued in what the finned podcat was trying to accomplish. The recognizable scent of alcohol wafted from one of the many bottles that were put by the side, something that she had never really gotten used to. Being as clueless as always, she had missed the invitations that had been passed around earlier, the news of the sleepover flying straight over her head. "So what is all this for? Are you having some friends over here later?" she inquired, noticing the other nests that had been acquired for this occasion.

    [size=9]
    "You never had to leave camp," Alana responded with a slight shrug, although her voice was more calm and her position more relaxed as soon as the volume was decreased some amount. Now that it wasn't as deafening as before, she could gather her own thoughts for once and feel semi-comfortable in this setting. "Apologies if what I said seemed rude. I was just trying to reach a compromise here, and the volume is fine now." It was also good to know that they could settle out an agreement without reaching a fight or argument. Alana despised physical confrontation and when things started escalating too quickly against her favor.
    "My name's Alana," the tortoiseshell apprentice added, trying to start a new introduction and clear away any bad feelings that may have occurred before.

    [size=9]
    Youthful eyes lighting up with life, Alana would purr, "Thanks! I guess that's more comforting to know." If Rivulet had also been just a novice at swimming, she would have been slightly more concerned (although she was fully aware that her longing for adventure would not stop something as trivial as that to get in the way), but knowing Rivulet was an experienced swimmer but some part of her anxious mind to rest.
    Starting to walk towards the camp entrance, she would slow down to let Rivulet take the lead. "Any kind of slower or smaller rivers you want to suggest? I haven't explored a lot of RiverClan yet," the lithe tortoiseshell apprentice admitted. She knew just enough landmarks to find her way back to camp, but had not yet explored every crack and corner of the territory.

    [size=9]
    Cautious when approaching the large intruder, Alana's guard slightly fell when she peered out at Persephone from the covers of wild reeds. She seemed physically similar to Rivulet, perhaps belonging in the same species. It wasn't often that she would see another large midnight black feline with the same exotic, glowing fins. "Hi, there. I think I'm allowed to welcome you in since you're just visiting," Alana spoke, a hint of uncertainty betraying her words as she faced the podcat.
    "Well I guess unless anyone else says otherwise, consider yourself accepted. My name's Alana, what about you?" she inquired while introducing herself, the tips of her fur a bit messy and sticking in different directions from hiding among the reeds before she confronted Persephone. Realizing that she must have most likely arrived after an exhaustive, arduous journey, Alana signaled for her to follow as she pushed aside the stalks of reed to lead Persephone to the RiverClan camp.

    "Careful, watch your step," Alana warned. "I'm leading the way back to our camp so that you can rest and meet other RiverClanners there. I think we're all pretty nice though."

    [size=9]
    Tempting to make herself smaller within the crowd as she heard her name briefly called for a shoutout, Alana would mumble a quick "Thanks," before chiming in her own words of congratulations to the members who had been promoted. Although she was beginning to learn how to match names to faces now, there were some individuals who she hadn't gotten to know or meet yet. Wrapping her tail around her forepaws to provide a sense of comfort, she would smile and nod blankly along, semi-relieved that it was the end of the meeting already.
    Pushing herself onto her paws, Alana would retreat to the corners of the apprentice den. It felt like a hectic day for some reason, and she needed some room to clear her head.

    [size=9]
    "i hope my presence isn't an intrusion," Alana stated politely as she made her presence known, listening in with a gleam of interest in her pine green eyes. Being around camp more often than not, it was no surprise that she also tended to listen more than she spoke. Having her second taste at RiverClan life, she wanted to know what kind of things went on around these idea meetings, and she was more familiar with Rivulet than anyone else in the Clan so far. "If I'm not supposed to be here, I can go," the considerate tortoiseshell apprentice added, putting it out there so that they could push her out if needed. She wouldn't be offended, knowing fully well that there were different social customs and rules.

    [size=9]
    Following after Rivulet, it wasn't long before they reached the steam. Wading into the shallow end of the bank, Alana felt calm and serene as water flowed past her legs. It was ticklish and cold, the cohesive liquid soaking her fur down to the bone. "Alright, so what's the first step?" Alana inquired, moving her paw around because it felt immensely more slow when met with the resistance of the water. At the same time, a burst of exhilaration flowed through her core, knowing that she wouldn't get easily swept away by the current since it felt like more of a gentle tug than anything.
