Since the early seventeenth century, women have always possessed some degree of magic. They have been what has kept many centuries of evils from taking over humanity and destroying the peace. Their powers ranged from being able to finish simple tasks in a breeze, to creating earthquakes and tsunamis. However powerful they may be, they have kept it a huge secret from most of the society. Creating very powerful societies and social clubs with their own cultures and jargon. Teams of so-called 'Mahou Shojo' form to combat the secret darknesses that plague the universe on an almost daily basis. This has been the way it has been for years, until recently.In the early twentieth century, a woman only referred to as Mrs. Cantatio, began the school for girls gifted with a high aptitude for magical abilities. She meant for the school to be a refuge for young girls to train their skills with magic unique to them. It proved a success for tens of years; thousands of classes have graduated and become great Mahou Shojo and saviors of the universe.

The school eventually formed its own Mahou Shojo team, called the Centrias, who protect the school from danger. They have been protecting the school for hundreds of years, and are selected by the headmistress herself. Many students strive to be a part of this team. Little does the main part of the student body know, they are also the protectors of the center of magic itself. Deep in the secret catacombs of the school lie a larger than life crystal. It is the source of power for all magic and should be handled with the utmost care. The few who know of this have tried to capture it for themselves, but all have failed, due to the efforts of the Centurias. However, new evils have appeared from around every corner, and the school is no longer the sanctuary it once was.

Fast forwarding to the year 2045, the school is still operational. The secret of magic is still kept by the women who still run the academy. A new school year has begun, and many new students have arrived. The old Centurias have all graduated, leaving the positions open for new ones to join. In store for the Centurias, however, are shadows that lurk inside the very walls of Prea Cantatio.

The school appears to be abandoned from the outside to those who come upon it. To the students, however, it looks like a wondrous castle surrounded by many buildings.

The hallways are always kept stark white with cleaning magics. The classrooms are quite similar to those found in regular high schools, but also include potion rooms and battle training facilities. The infirmary is staffed by two trained healers.

The school's student atmosphere is pretty normal, but it seems a lot like its own little city. With just about everything a girl would need, there is hardly any reason to leave, so no one really does. It is a boarding school, so students must live in the academy in order to attend. This may sound boring to live at school, but the academy offers many clubs and activities to keep everyone active. These include:
- Sports, such as volleyball, softball, Whizzball (a game created by the students themselves that involve moving a ball using only telepathic magic into a hoop, this does not have an official team yet), fencing, equestrianism, and more.
- Clubs, such as art, calligraphy, flower arranging, potion making, tactical fighting, sewing, and more.
- Events, which include sporting events, a yearly battle tournament, etc.

These classes are on everyone's schedule (may be different for older students):
- Potion making 101 through 104
- Tactical Fighting Techniques 101 through 103
- Practical Healing 101 through 104
- Weapon Alchemy 101 (only for fourth years)
- Magical History 101 & 102

These classes can be chosen from (up to two):
- Magic Art
- Clothing Alchemy
- Harnessing Familiars

The Centurias are chosen by the headmistress around the beginning of the year. This is based on past grades and behavioral history but is also chosen by the use of Clairvoyant Magic using the stone. They and the headmistress are the only ones who know where the stone is located. The Centurias also form the student government. There are six Centurias altogether. They cannot be first years.

• Students must be inside their respective dorms at no later than 9 pm.
• All students must join at least one club or sport.
• Centurias must perform their duties as protectors of the stone and student council. Failure to do so means termination from your position, and possibly the school.
• Only females are permitted to enter the school. Any males not authorized will be kicked out, and those responsible for their arrival will be expelled or fired.
• Students and Staff attending or working at the school must live there.
• Staff found exhibiting any inappropriate behavior with students will be terminated.

• No male characters, this is an all girl's school.
• No romance between your own characters, please keep in mind that there are people for you to interact with, do not ignore them.
• Do not force crushes on people, having a crush on someone does not mean that they have to date your character.
• All major plot ideas should be discussed with me.
• Put "Sparkle” in your Other section.
• No power playing, by this I mean making impossible things happen in impossible situations.
• Correct grammar and spelling are not necessarily a must, but please try to read over your posts a little before posting them.
• Post at least a paragraph per reply and post at least once a day, but I do understand low muse/life happens.
• Taht being said, please let me know if you will become inactive or want to leave the RP. I'm an adult and my feelings will not be hurt.
• No OOC drama.
• Do not take rejection or IC drama personally.
• Cursing is allowed, but put a * in vowels.
• I have the right to kick you from the thread if I see that you are not following the rules, especially after a warning.
• The rules can be changed or added to if I see fit.
