Once the two had left the basic confinements of camp some more lush, ferny terrain was reached. Hudson kept his attention onto Newt, smiling as he saw the man speaking of all the things he knew. The retriever cocked his head over questionably at the middle of his words.
"Sulfur? Oh wow, I didn't even know that." He said with an impressed tone and a nod of his head before answering the other questions that followed that fact. "Ah hell, that'd be cool. I don't know what I'd be though. Maybe a porcupine or a moose, maybe even a black bear." The Canadian laughed softly after his words, damn that moose part must've seemed stereotypical but they were awesome creatures!

With a finger gently running along the smooth glass of the beer bottle settled in the middle of the little circle of people, Hudson sent a glance over to emotional Titan. He couldn't help but smirk and laugh drunkenly at the sight, but he knew the man must've felt pretty distressed if he was crying. Enthusiastically the Canadian beckoned Titan over with a welcoming smile.
"Awww c'mon Titan - you've got a nice pair of lips why not put them to use?"
He said with a quirked brow, hoping that would convince the party host to join in on this rather basic fun. It was his house and his party after all, surely he ought to do something other than complain and sob.

Thinking more about it, yeah, being a moose would be pretty neat. He wondered however if the antlers would be an actual main in the neck considering how big they could grow. Nature had it's way for compensating for things, a moose should have a neck strong and sturdy enough to support it's rack without pain. Hearing Newt's question, Hudson was able to give an accurate answer due to the many sightings of moose he had in his home nation.
"I mean, they got a flap of skin under their necks." He replied matter-of-factly before cocking his head over and nodding.
"I guess you could call it a beard. We call them bells though. I think it's named after the cow bell."

The snap of the branch was enough to trigger quite a spooked jump from Hudson, but the shock immediately turned into interest as Newt had a curious reaction. He sent the man a wide grin before nodding in response to his words, indicating that yes, he did hear the snap of the twig before them. He stayed silent, however, hoping that voices wouldn't scare off whatever that emitted that sound.
The retriever attempted to walk forward but due to his shifted weight and heavy limp his footsteps were loud and he halted with his jaw clenched together.
If he walked any closer surely he would have scared whatever it was away so instead he whispered over to his companion's way.
"I think maybe you should check it out." He said in a low hush while dipping his head over to the direction of the noise.

Wip also awww yall are making me blush

Hudson was not Hope, he was far from it, but because he was so gravely wounded and suffering a rather concerning low blood level he stuck around the medics whenever he wasn't out exploring and venturing out. Technically he wasn't supposed to be leaving camp but... Hey, if he could get away with it he wasn't going to tell no one. The duck tolling retriever simply just stuck around in the background, not too far from Glitch. He too was eavesdropping in a way - he couldn't help natural curiosity.

    oh that'd be cool!!!

I kind of have a request for what could be done to him

He just lost an arm and he's relieved he can still adventure and hike
    But
Maybe in this torture you guys and NOT MAIM him but like leave cuts on his other paws so he cannot walk for a bit? Hudson relies entirely off freedom and I think it would be good character developement to have him not have the thing he holds dear

It was funny how just days before he was speaking to a Bloodclanner, it was strange how he said how much he wanted to visit the desert and explore it's lands and now, he finally got the chance to be in the desert, but in some incredibly unfortunate way. Shoved into camp the amputee staggered over and fell into desert sand as he lost his balance. Then, the retriever found himself under the blade of a child and although it must have been pathetic to submit to a little kid, the knife had more power than Barbara had so he listened to her as best as he could. Brown eyes darted from side to side, looking for a sort of escape that was not present.
Well, if he could not escape he might as well have some fun too - right?
Taking in a sigh, the ginger-haired canine lifted his head to send Barbara a rather meek smile while delivering a line he had attempted to sound humorous.
"Picking on a cripple?" The man questioned with a tsk, shaking his head slightly before adding:
    "What would your mother think?"

Hudson was supposed to stay in camp, especially with the extents of his injuries. However, the man wasn't one to listen to rules, especially those that limited his freedom. That eventually led to another issue. Patrolling around the borders the retriever had come across two innocent looking twins - Twins! How adorable!
Well, they weren't because five seconds later they beat him up and took them into their territory - Bloodclan. One would only know Hudson was gone after acknowledging the lack of his presence, the last place that carried his sent was the area around the border leading into the river where both Riverclan and Bloodclan fragrance collided
