The tavern had become one of Ryan's regular haunts, so he was already there when Xylia called out about the hunt. Dragging himself to his paws, he moved over, peering up at the ferret patiently.

Ryan shuffled up after Lucy, peering at the new queen curiously. She was in charge of BloodClan now? Good for her, he supposed, though his investment in other Clans was minimal. "Congratulations, Barbara." He said.

Ryan padded over. He'd been making vague attempts at being active and useful to the Clan, though aside from the barbecue he didn't think he'd actually done much to be of any assistance. "I'll take the Rift." He offered.

Ryan had taken one of the boats to the Rift, barely managing to make it there without capsizing. But he made it, and now he was staggering down the beach, looking slightly dazed - he'd always considered himself a city slicker, but it turned out he might be able to be a sailor too. "Hey, m' name's Ryan, got an invite from the Skulls."

As Lucy appeared and asked to join, Ryan wordlessly scooted over so she'd have room to sit by him, though he didn't really think she would. Xylia didn't know what a city was? Well, he supposed that for the most part it was a human term and a human creation, but a few Clans lived in abandoned cities. "It's like... A really big Clan, but with humans. There's thousands of them, and there are buildings. Like the tavern, but way bigger." He explained.

For such a straight-forward answer, it sure made things more confusing. She'd certainly liked it last night, so why the sudden change of heart? He sat up and rubbed his eyes. "What's up, Sel? You've been acting weird since yesterday. Like... friggin' bipolar or something." Well, not exactly that.

She was right to doubt that the streak would continue, because there was no way he was just going to back off when it was pretty clear present company just wanted her on her back. "Right, because you're going to be alone if I leave." He said with dry bitterness.

Lucy and Xylia. Well, Lucy's dad had been a manipulative, genuinely horrible person, and from what he knew Xylia didn't know who her father was. Both were girls (one quite young), therefore neither would have personal experience as one. So... great people to give him advice. "I wanted to ask about being a dad." Did he have any idea how to phrase that in a way that didn't sound helpless but still got the point across? Nope, but he tried.

Normally, Ryan kept to himself and didn't spend much time in frequented areas (though, the tavern was becoming a frequent stop for him) but today he was on the ship, specifically in the ship's kitchen, from which delicious odors wafted as he cooked up a little feast for the upcoming Rum Night with ColouredClan. No one had asked or hinted at him doing it, but he hardly thought anyone would mind if he did this. The feline was humming under his breath as he worked, falling into an easy rhythm.

There had been a lot on Ryan's mind lately, most of it surrounding Lucy's pregnancy. And yes, this stemmed from it too. It was because of the kits, but it was also something he should have done long ago. Slowly he moved towards her door, and knocked. Hard, loud. Confidently.

"Noted." Ryan muttered, knowing that no matter how much he was around Sel would never take him into consideration for a promotion - mainly because Pyre played both of them. He'd also already hit up the events, and was hardly the person to talk to about politics.

"They name's Ryan." He'd been living in the Skulls for a while, but he didn't really like all that political stuff, so he wasn't always there when ambassadors came by. "Thanks, but I'm alright. You Rifters want a ride?" He jerked his head towards the boat. Accepting help from others, even something as small as a drink, wasn't really his style.

As much as he loved her, despite being there just for her, there were times when Lucy's appearance made him sigh. "It's not for you, Lucy. Believe it or not, the world doesn't revolve around you." Not even mine. He didn't bother looking at her, just focused on what he was doing. Mix that, add a pinch of this...

Huh, for once Ryan was not only on time for the meeting, but first to show up. That was a rarity.

Despite his confidence, he was nervous deep down. He should have done this long ago, yes, and there'd been a million reasons why he hadn't. For all his promises, that kind of commitment... "Hey." Ryan greeted, slipping into her room and shutting the door behind him. "I, uh, I wanted to ask you something."

Ryan appeared not too long after Sel, looking at the ColouredClanner curiously. Yet another person Sel/Lucy seemed to know, though not as well as usual. What a surprise. "Hey." He said, taking a seat behind the pregnant leader.

Ah, so they could team up or go it alone? Well, he wasn't really one for teamwork, so he figured unless someone wanted to go with him, he'd head out by himself once Xylia gave the signal. He did, however, grab himself a map, just to see if it had any clues as to the location of the treasure. Being a Sailor here, he was already pretty well acquainted with the terrain.

He became listless when he was bored, but not violent. He got violent when he was angry, but when he was bored he merely tried to find ways to entertain himself, he'd assume like most people.

Ryan didn't know the person on the border, but Sel/Lucy did, which stopped being a surprise a while ago. "Hey." It was getting to be his trademark greeting, but hello was too formal for him and hi was too... cutesy. Or something. He couldn't quite pin it down.

It had been a while since the last training session, so it was pretty safe to say that they were due for another one. But... no one was here yet. Maybe he was just early or something. "Ready when you are."

Another party huh? Well, based on the attention Sel/Lucy got and received at BloodClan's party, he wasn't too keen on letting her go alone, so Ryan followed after her.
