HOW HE ACTS WHEN With Family: He's guarded and doesn't trust them. Generally awkward and wants to be somewhere else. With Friends: A bit of an asshole, to be perfectly honest, but (in the eyes of his friends) a lovable one. He makes jokes, does dares or dares others, he parties and gets wasted. When he's with his friends, he's just out for a good time, it's what he wants to have and he wants his friends to as well, though he will prioritize his own good time above that of his companions'. With Enemies: Anything "lovable" about his assholish traits is completely gone when he deals with his enemies. He is one hundred percent an asshole and there is nothing enjoyable about it, and he very much would want to make things as miserable as he can. Often times, his enemies are a threat to what is his and he wants to drive them away however he can. There's also a fair bit of posturing and trash talk, playing up his strengths and playing down his enemy's. In Love: It really depends on the moment. When they're out clubbing or partying, that's how he acts. He's having a good time and it's made better by his girlfriend. When it's just them, he is capable of being tender and sweet, but it's only on occasion and never lasts too long. When it comes to romance, he is not the best at being romantic, though he does try sometimes. In the bedroom... Well, this is a PG-13 site and Pyre doesn't want to push it. Let's just say the dynamic is different than in other scenarios. Embarrassed/Flustered: Posturing. So much posturing. He talks a big game when he's with his rivals, his girl and perhaps most of all when he's trying to cover his ass. He absolutely hates being embarrassed and degraded and laughed at, and if someone embarrasses him he'll do whatever it takes to turn it around back to them. Happy: He is an addict of many things, alcohol, drugs, sex, but the biggest addiction of all is the one that is the reason for all of the other addictions: happiness and pleasure. He can't get enough of it and is constantly seeking things that will make him happy. Dope comes from dopamine after all, and he constantly craves it and would go to great lengths to get it. Playful: When he's really, really happy, he becomes playful, a jokester, someone you'd like to be around, with the exception that he can become more forceful depending on if he's on drugs or drunk. In which case he can go from playful to insistent to violent in order to get what he wants. Sad: Ryan doesn't like showing sadness, or any kind of negative emotion (except for maybe anger). He'd rather just bottle it up, stuff it deep down and let it stay there until it comes bursting out. When it does come out, it's hard to control but he tries to bottle it back up as quickly as he can. If it's not him that's sad (or grieving or what have you), he tries to let them have a moment but then encourages them to bottle everything up as well so they can get back to more enjoyable things. Grieving: Unless he was incredibly close to the person that died, he doesn't show grief, even if he does feel it. If he was remarkable close to whoever died he does let it out, but usually in private, not wanting anyone else to see him hurting. Drunk: When he's drunk, he's happy and therefore playful. But if there was ever a time he was more prone to violence than when kids are brought up, it's when he's drunk and not getting his way. Not necessarily in the bedroom, since even though he might try to convince his partner to be with him, consent is still important to him. In other situations, he might get pushy or even violent. Angry: Ryan has an extremely short fuse and is extremely easy to anger, especially if he's drunk. However, it rarely lasts more than half an hour, if that, but when he's blinded by rage he can do quite a bit of damage, be it with words or violent means. Frustrated: He curses, assigns blame, he demands that whatever is frustrating him be fixed and becomes angry when it can't be addressed immediately. Cornered: He's like a wild animal in a cage when he's cornered, pacing, snarling and growling, trying to get out of whatever situation he's in at any cost. If he's getting called out as a hypocrite (or as anything, really), admitting fault is a last resort. When he's cornered, he wants to get out looking stronger than whatever had him against the wall. Hungry: He can get pretty irritable when he's hungry, and becomes very single-minded about getting food. Touched: Ryan loves touch and is always seeking it out, no matter what kind of touch it may be, the jostling at a party, the caress of a lover, or the struggle of a brawl. [ELABORATE MORE MAYBE?] Sick: When he's sick the absolute last thing he wants is for people to be around him, seeing his weakness and either mocking him or pitying him. Deep down he really just wants someone to mother him without judgement, since it was never something he had as a child and was always envious of those that did have parents to take care of them when they were sick. Lucy had started to do that sort of thing, but there was a faint hint of mockery to it. Hurt: Much like when he's hurt, the last thing he wants is for anyone to see him hurt or weak. If he gets hurt in a fight, he toughs it out until he can get home to nurse his wounds. In some ways, he's even more sensitive about people seeing him injured than ill, since you can't help it when you get sick but, the way he views it, he let whatever hurt him injure him, even by simply being unable to stop them. If he lets you tend to his wounds, he really trusts you and feels comfortable enough to (in his perspective) in a way admit that he can't really take care of himself, something that he insists he can but is not the case. [fancypost=background:; overflow: auto; height: 250px; width: 275px; text-align: justify; padding: 5px; text-align: justify] [size=9]History: His parents didn't pay much mind to him, and were generally deadbeats. They frequently fought and he had no siblings. He moved out as soon as he could, though his apartment was pretty crappy. He got two jobs that paid minimum wage and he spent most of his time outside work in bars or clubs - where he met Lucy. She was only 20 at the time, but he was 21. He bought her a couple of drinks, they danced and went home together. In a way she hardly left, because she spent a great deal of her spare time there and after a couple months officially moved in. Their relationship grew and they fell in love, both genuinely caring about the other. He would sometimes inadvertently subvert Lucy's emotions, sometimes making her think that they weren't important or that she should be over them by then. Things only really started getting worse when she asked him if he thought she'd be a good mother, as the idea of actually having kids repulses him and even made him violent. Whenever the topic got brought up he would hit her, then carry on like nothing had happened. One night he and Lucy were out driving, himself drunk and driving. They were fighting in the car and it wound up crashing - apparently because he'd been drunk. However it was Lucy that grabbed the wheel and swerved them off the road and is ultimately responsible for their deaths.
Past Plots: Initially he didn't remember his past life, but after a brief bout of amnesia caused by hitting his head in a fall, he remembers his human life with Lucy. Current Plots: Currently Ryan is looking for Lucy - he knows that she's out there and he's determined to find her. He wants to apologize for killing them, as he doesn't remember that she caused the crash, and to get back together with her. Future Plots: He'll hear about someone going by Lucy Lykke in the Skulls and immediately try to join the Clan, only to find not Lucy Lykke but a girl named Sel that acts very similarly and bears the name. She also knows him and remembers their past, but insists that Lucy is dead. He tries to apologize and asks her to be his girlfriend (or f**k, maybe even wife) and after she rejects him and probably tells him to eat a dick he gradually realizes that she has moved on and has other people in her life: more specifically lovers and children and Daddy Vader. He becomes incredibly angry with her and the people she'd rather surround herself with, possibly even kidnapping one or more of her kits and trying to hold them hostage to force her to be with him. In Ryan's eyes, Sel is Lucy and Lucy is his. Anyone else that gets in the way of that, particularly kids and lovers, needs to go.
