The petite pup wasn't sure how long she had been wandering around for, but it felt like forever to her youthful and impatient brain. She had woken up one morning to find her sister gone and her mother in a fuss and soon running off after her, and so too the young pup had also left her farmland home. It was blending there, anyways. Nothing better to do than chase sheep and those other animals that made ugly noises. Originally she had been following her family's scent, but she had quickly lost interest in such a pursuit with the realization that this was her chance to be her own person, at long last. Without parents to tell her what to do, well, she could do whatever she wanted, and so she had veered off from their path, and now she found herself at what she assumed was some sort of border. Perhaps this was the place where she could make a name for herself? "Excuse me, but is anyone there? My paws are tired so I really don't want to wait around all day." The fuzzy Aussie called, her mismatched gaze flickering to and fro in a search for anyone at all. Perhaps she was coming off as rude, but this was the most walking she had done in her entire life, and so she was hungry and tired, so needless to say, her patience was even more lacking than it usually was.

Blue was almost surprised to see just how quickly others had arrived, but only almost. After all, she was pretty cool and stuff, so it wasn't like she was totally surprised that people had actually shown up. It was nice actually, seeing new faces. All the ones on the farm had been the same day in and day out, this was already quite exciting. She perked her ears as the strangers spoke, mismatched gaze flickering to each individual in turn. Whoever the guy calling her princess was, she decided he got some early brownie points for it, even if it was just a joke. Ivylee seemed cool too, and she'd said this was a Clan too. She'd only ever heard of Clans in stories before bed, and so the fact that she'd actually found one made her sure that straying had definitely been a good idea. "Well, I'm kinda' hungry and tired, but I guess I'm not dying or anything, you know? Could be worse." The femme began with a tilt of her head, causing one of her ears to flop off to the side. "Oh, I'm Blue, by the way. It's pretty nice to meet y'all. You said this is Riverclan, yeah? Think I could join? I always heard Clans were cool places to be, and I'd like to give it a go." She added, lifting her chin and puffing her chest out just a bit. If only Vide and Laurie could see her now, she bet they'd be super jealous if they found out where she was right now.

"I have a better question, how do we play a game involving thumbs if we don't have thumbs?" Blue quipped as she trotted over, head tilted in curiosity, though it was a bit tough when she also wanted to lift her chin in a prideful huff. Having grown up on a farm, she hadn't been expos d to games like thumbs up, instead they stuck to simpler things like tag, hide-n-seek, and things like chasing other animals or tossing rocks. Perhaps a new game could be fun though, and so the pup stuck around, curious as to what exactly this odd-sounding game entailed.

They'd all be darned right that she knew her stuff. Of course she knew her stuff, she knew all the-- what did she know again? Oh yeah, thumbs. "Oh yeah, a thumb is sort of like an extra toe or finger, only it kinda' sticks out to the side more than fingers, and toes, and it helps humans hold stuff." The Aussie explained, puffing her chest out with the depth of such a scholarly explanation. Explaining it was honestly kind of hard, given how weird thumbs were, but she'd seen her fair share of thumbs from farmers and such when she lived on the farm with her family, so she definitely understood the concept.
"I definitely get how to play the game now, so as long as everybody else sort of gets it I am ready to go." She added with a lopsided grin. It sounded pretty simple actually, though a bit challenging. If she knew the scents of these people, it'd be rather easy to guess who tapped who, but seeing as she had just joined, she barely had the scent of Riverclan down, and so she'd have to do this the harder way. No matter though, she was sure she'd still be good at it. -
Cloud-watching? That sounded awfully boring to the excitable Aussie, but she trotted on over nonetheless. "What about racing the clouds? Then you could watch them and actually do stuff at the same time." The girl suggested with a soft huff as she joined the others. Frankly, she was pretty sure she didn't know anyone here, but she could still suggest stuff, right? Besides, her ideas were pretty good, if she did say so herself.

Lemme just casually roll into this here chat thread to say hi
I meant to post here earlier but clearly that didn't happen so, yeah hi y'all. I'm hoping to keep this kid here for a good long while so you'll be seeing me around c: -
[code]Name: Blue
Age: 3 moons
Rank: Guppy
Gender: Female
Species: Australian Shepherd
Brief Traits {personality}: Dramatic, sassy, loves to be the center of attention, can be a tad arrogant. -
Oh, a welcome announcement? Fancy, very classy too, she was impressed, just a little of course, not a lot. "Congrats y'all." The femme offered cheerily to those promoted. She took note of the outside threats thing, though overall she didn't feel too worried. After all, seeing as she was just a kid, she tried not to leave camp too much anyways, and going alone was boring, so she supposed she was already doing it right.

Blind dating? She supposed she was a bit too young for a real relationship, but since making friends was an option, she supposed that would be alright. Maybe she'd get to meet someone almost as cool as she was.

Blue hadn't even known what blind dating was before a few days ago, so needless to say, she had no clue what she was doing. Nevertheless, the pup had managed to find her way to the place her instructions had told her to go, apparently there would be a potential new friend waiting for her when she got there. She was almost certain she had to be late or pretty close to it, mostly because being new she'd had to ask for some clarifications along the way, but here she was, and it looked like her "date" was already here too. "Hello, ah, I'm guessing you're my blind date buddy?" The Aussie greeted with a grin as she paddd up to the other pup. She usually wasn't so... courteous, but this was about making friends, so for once the mottled femme had decided to try and be decently well-mannered.
