Paws slowly briefly touched down upon the hard packed ground of the ghost town that was named Shadow Veil, searching and moving forward with a cautious ease that made his form tense. It was harder when his vulture was away, harder to do a lot of things but he had come to accept the blindness in his life. He had been born with terrible eyesight that only got progressively worse as he aged and grew up and then at one year he simply woke up and he couldn't see. It had finally quit on him. He could remember the day when he had tried to read a book for the first time and all he saw was a smearing of black bloobs upon a backdrop of white. A sigh left his throat as the male paused in his small adventure, nose twitching before he turned his head in the opposite direction. Though his eyes were open and bright they couldn't even see despite how they looked. His body shifted forward again until he made it to one of the sections and he heard the soft whispers of the wind through the leaves in the trees. Grass was soft and pushed against his legs gently and he sighed softly before he walked forward before he paused and decided that perhaps he should get some help. After all it might not be too much trouble if he bothered one soul to see if they minded guiding him to a home that was available. At least until his vulture came back and he was able to see more clearly his surroundings. It seemed the creature had returned back to that land for a little bit and he sighed with a bit of agitation at this fact. "Does anyone mind helping me find an empty house?"

Being body locked wasn't a situation that he had to go through. In fact if he had shapeshifting he would gladly take it and use it to at least gain a body that would have some semblance of sight. But alas that power had not manifested yet and he was trying to make out his life with what he could and what he had. His blind eyes were no where on Feliks, having shifted down to the ground although he was listening to the conversation and he was almost amused by it. Slowly the clouded leopard of pale hues sat back on his haunches and he breathed out a solemn breath as he contemplated the words that the dragon spoke of before he allowed amusement to spread lightly on his features. "Turning a negative into a positive. Seems like a good trade off. Why not. The forest can always grow back all things considered." Fire, the idea of fire made him intrigued and he wanted to see this bonfire. Would it become a pyre he didn't know but he was all for the idea of having one and inviting allies to it. Sounded like a swell idea to him and he gave a half nod of his head in no real general direction.

I forgot to track this but i'm doing it now
hi everyoneee

He listened with a eerie quiet, body motionless as his eyes remained on the ground before him. Though his ears twitched every once in a while. There was a lot to take in and though he didn't miss his own name being spoken he didn't react to it. It was merely a welcome to make him feel like one of the gang and he understood that. A shoutout too. He allowed his pale lips to part and his breath to ease from his throat before he lifted his head and listened to more news. Blizzardclan dropping them to neutrals, needing a healer, ambassadors, and some kind of ascension quests. All of it seemed interesting but there was only so much he could do. Healing wouldn't be a thing for him considering his ailment but he would look into ambassadorial duties he supposed. "I'll be an ambassador to Hawkclan. Also give me a quest if you have the time now." The blind male easily spoke up as he tilted his head to one side.

"What's nice?" That was the problem when his companion was gone for long stretches of time but he had gotten used to these cycles. They were needed anyway and he gave a soft sigh as he carefully walked his way over to the area in which his father was currently standing. His ears picked up the sound of rustling paper and he had to take a guess on his own account. A note maybe, or was he writing something. He didn't hear the telling sound of scrawling so it was probably just a note and so he went from there. "What does it say?" The vague scent that lingered in the air told him a lot but he merely ignored it in favor of what might be said to him first.

Frankly he was confused as to why there were no medics around here. It was an odd thing to not have any at all and because of this he wondered just how safe it was actually in Shadow Veil. The tang of blood hit his nostrils and coated his tongue as he walked causing him to pause and angle his ears forward slowly. For a moment he was silent more concentrated on taking in information before he started forward again slowly. He knew some things but without his vulture he couldn't really do anything. Direct sure that that was about it and he sighed as he came upon the scene, blind gaze wandering before he frowned just a bit. "How bad is he?" He didn't know who the animal was but given by the way they acted he must have been a former clanmates returned to them. It seemed only fitting and he turned his blind eyes toward Feliks as of he could see the massive creature before him.

The large bird of prey saw them from the sky, thickly feathered and large wings holding its body high in the sky. It was watching and relaying information about what it was seeing, gaze almost piercing as it watched the pair below on the ground. The bird was bold with bright red feathers that stood out in sharp contrast to the black feathers that covered much of the bird's body. It was a vulture, large and yet it wasn't looking for its next meal. No it was helping its master so to speak allowing its eyes to be used by him as he walked on the ground below. The clouded leopard observed the two newcomers through the vulture's eyes, features pensive as he saw then for the first time through red fogged vision. A part of him wondered who they were and to a lesser extent what they were doing here. His tail swayed lightly as he continued to walk but because of what the vulture was actually seeing he had to be careful of where he was going at the current moment. The pale male was blind so he had to be absolutely careful or he might run into a tree or even worse someone. Parting his jaws he pulled in the scent of the area as he moved with deliberate steps. The scent of the strangers grew stronger till he was sure that he was within range of them, peering forth with bright eyes that saw nothing save for what the vulture relayed. His familiar came in handy sometimes. "Hello, who might the both of you be? This is Shadow Veil by the way and I'm Red."

Resurgam. He knew that last name and the history behind it. It made him think back to the days childhood. When things had been simpler and before the demons happened. Before Scarclan fell and was utterly destroyed. Before he lost his sight. The male sighed softly as he lifted his head up from where he laid, blue eyes flaked with grey searched without seeing for the voice that had broke the quiet tones of the camp. It was definitely hot today but with his light pelt he was doing rather well. Pierced ears twitched before the young male found himself pushing to his paws and carefully making his way over to the area where he had heard the voice. A paw bumped into the tiger's side and he immediately stepped back. "Ah, sorry. I didn't see you there." He joked softly before shaking his head and slowly sitting down. Perhaps he should introduce himself but he only went by his alias now and he frowned a bit. "I'm Red, Redwinter Praelium but just call me Red."
-
So red here is the son of Standstill and Breakdance, a bit larger than a normal clouded leopard he is completely blind but because of some strange things circulating about himself he has a companion who he calls a pet rather than a familiar to keep up appearances of being normal. This familiar is a bearded vulture with red and black feathers and piercing red eyes who he uses to be able to see. Though everything he sees through said vulture is a fogged over red and sometimes the vulture leaves unexpectedly for x amount of times
Anyway he is open for nearly anything, be it friends, conflicts, helping someone you name it or have an idea just ask.

Craning his head the pale male would listen to the call of his father. He remembered things like this from before and he understood what they were used for as well. Getting up the blind adult would move away from where he had been laying underneath a tree and he slowly walked his way over to where he thought he heard the call. "I'll take one."

a father son thread sounds really good! Yes! Who makes?

His ears pricked up when the wounds were mentioned to him and he frowned a little bit that seemed severe and not likely to heal too quickly. Still he was even more annoyed at the fact that it was clear torture. The idea of torture didn't phase him considering the clan he had grew up in and with his mother but to have it used on them made him a bit jumpy. He wanted to help but there wasn't much the blind youth could do at the current moment. Yet he found it also perplexing or at least some of the words that were spoken out. "If they don't condone torture and have a rogue member doing this it could be likely they might give her to us. Likely but the chances are slim if they do have a bad history with Soundcheck." Turning to look in the general direction of Standstill he breathed out and tried to speak to him telepathically. 'We need to be careful here. Something is brewing and it doesn't look good.'

Taking a blind man to the mountains
Sounds good

"One thing you need to learn. If you don't have all the facts then you can state something as true. We don't know if they condoned this or not. It isn't a they but a she. This Mingan did this and we need to figure out why she did it and take her as a prisoner and ring her little neck for it." That by itself seemed like justice in his blind gaze as he stared off toward nothing in particular. Unlike the others he wasn't hasty with trying to place the blame on an entire clan. But this Mingan whoever the hell she was was the problem and he found that he wanted to capture the cretin and present her to Soundcheck considering she was the one that had injured him so badly. Taking her down shouldn't be that hard even for a blind animal such as himself and he gave a half smirk, eyes closing at the idea. Now he had a goal.
-
The vulture helped to guide his paws as he made his way toward the border of the Thunderlands. He didn't know all the facts yet about what was going on and why. Unlike his clanmates he didn't jump straight to accusations and he looked for solo targets. This target had a name now and she seemed to live here. But first thing was first he needed information. The blind creature located the border with ease by looking through the eyes of his vulture, his comrade in arms as he slowly made his way forward. He wasn't trying to hide his presence considering his over large and pale colored form. No, he had an idea in mind to be pleasant and at least get something out of them before he had to jump ship he supposed. With that being said he paused the scent line and settled himself down, blind gaze turned upward as his vulture nestled high up in a tree. Now the wait began.
-
Well that had been pretty easy. Frankly he had thought that it would be hard get the culprit out here and even get the information that he sought. But it looked like she had jumped the gun and admitted to her crimes before anything had been said and done. "You don't hide your business too well." He wasn't phased by her pointless threat knowing full well she wouldn't do anything unless she was okay with beating up on blind creatures. His eyes wandered aimlessly for a moment before the snapped fully on in her direction, tail swaying casually. "So you admit that you are the reason Soundcheck disappeared and why he showed back up beaten, bloody with lacerations and broken bones. You tortured him for a week. But you probably don't care. Do your clanmates know what you did?" He asked curiously before his ears twitched at the gentle rustling of feathers from his companion. He could feel her soul, the raw energy of a dark heart and he tilted his head a bit with a sigh lingering on pale lips.
-
Her story didn't convince him of anything. Not to take her side and not to take Soundcheck's either. He didn't know either of them and for all he knew her story could be lies generated to make herself look better and in the right light. Frankly he wasn't surprised that the Thunderlands had a rouge like member living among them. All groups rather labeled good or bad normally had them, such as with Scarclan and a former member named Templarbrigade. Though he said nothing and instead listened to the words that came from around him. Others had showed up and he was a bit surprised at it all. He tilted his head a bit, sightless eyes shifting over the place. Words bounced between the culprit and the clan and he slowly sank down to his haunches. His ear twitched before he breathed out slowly, getting the view of the Thunderlanders from his vulture before he decided to interject. "Well, I just wanted to collect the facts of the matter. I have no intention of harming anyone here. Will it be alright if I take my leave?" The fact that she kept saying that Soundcheck would have Shadow Veil attack other clans made him scoff and he sneered a bit. "Soundcheck doesn't control Shadow Veil. My father is leader and he won't be manipulated to play this sick game of using clans for your own benefit."
-
When he was told to go he didn't waste the moment. After all they would handle their member accordingly and he saw no reason to linger. His head lifted up to the vulture and it took off into the air to scout area ahead of him. Taking a deep breath in the clouded leopard merely dipped his head before he turned and walked off just as he heard the low growl and the sudden lunging of paws against the culprit.
-
The smell of the Thunderlands wafted off of his pale body. Something he had no real intention of hiding nor could he if he wanted to. His journey had been successful after all and he debated on if he should share the news or not. Was it important or would he let the upcoming war play out. It was his very nature to not tamper with things that could potentially sustain his own life. But there was also the possibility of his own father bring harmed by this. It was strange to come back to the clans and know now that his father was alive and well. Strange to feel that simple love simmering in his chest. It was a battle really for his life or for the only one he found some emotional attachment too. A frown was on the pale leopard's muzzle as he slowly walked forward attempting to find the other now. It was saddening that he couldn't quite remember his appearance, his face without the red fogged vision he now periodically used and he pulled his ears back as he called out for the older feline. "Standstill?" The word Father had first lingered on his tongue but didn't make it through and so he sat down and waited to see if he was nearby.
