    ☄ ----~ Squinting against the dim light of the den, waiting for his eyes to adjust, he noted the hulking shape at last where he had directed. It didn't take an idiot to know resting at the very back was a sure sign you didn't want company. Still, Zeph wanted to understand what was going on - so that he wouldn't start labeling Bear a problem along with Citrine. He knew Bearstorm was a good guy, so he had to have SOME explanation.

    Still, Zeph decided to take it a bit slowly - and if Bear decided to tell him to back off, then fine, he'd give him his space. Hopefully it wouldn't have to come to that, though.

    Padding into the den, the warrior headed immediately for the storage area. Pawing through the supplies, Zeph asked, "How are you feeling?" Pulling out some poppy seeds, the lanky oriental lapped the designated amount before trotting to his own nest. Making it more like casual chit-chat of two patients, Zeph thought this was the best way to keep Bearstorm from feeling cornered once more by a clan-mate.

    ☄ ----~ Cheeks glowing crimson with fluster, and now embarrassment at reading Bumblefoot wrong, Zeph looked at his paw sheepishly. He hoped he didn't give off the impression that he didn't want children with Bumblefoot specifically. Fatherhood was just...difficult. From what he had noticed, it inclined every choice you made and every thing you said and did with and for that child would hold a great impact for the rest of their lives. Depending on the child, not every tactic and method worked - and what at first might seem like a good lesson, could very well have horrible consequences later. That, and just...all the worries and responsibilities and - starclan, kits were just so fragile!

    Turning back to the other to see a big goofy smile on his face, Zephyr frowned simply so that he wouldn't smile like an idiot in response. He snorted at the idea, "If they're anything like your brood, they'd follow me out on patrols, clinging to my tail!" he said, finally allowing a small grin to grace his moody features. He chuckled at Bumblefoot's mention of having a black pelt, shaking his head, "I would not have believed it! But I think I like you better as silver," he said, his smile more softer now.

    ☄ ----~ Often times, Zephyrbee was told to lay down and "chill" or he'd injure himself or reopen wounds. Unfortunately for Bumblefoot, Zephyr didn't often listen to orders not given to him from Jasperstar himself. Thus, Zeph was rather sympathetic to Bearstorm's lack of caution. Still, Zephyrbee couldn't help but wince as he watched the large tom essentially bully himself into continuing with his little routine, not even thinking to take a breather in order to rest his paw. Either he was dedicated, or just plain stupid.

    Zeph had stumbled upon Bear when he had been out practicing as well - he still needed to get the hang of hunting with one eye, after all - and had watched silently for a few moments, out of awe, to be honest. But even this workaholic knew when enough was enough, especially when a broken leg was involved. "I know your mad, but what did that poor tree ever do to you?" Zeph finally called from the shadows. It was a curious thing when Zeph made jokes. His irritated, almost monotone voice made it difficult to tell if he was teasing, or legitimately asking.

    ☄ ----~ Zephyrbee let out a loud sigh as cats suddenly roared into battle. Wonderful, and after all those times he'd tried to PREVENT a freakin' battle...Oh well, at least he'd have someone to take his frustrations out on.

    With a snarl, Zephyrbee kicked off his hind legs. Suddenly finding himself glad that he had put in extra time into practicing with only one eye, the lanky oriental was relatively confident in his abilities. Joining citrinesun - , the warrior took quick note that the molly was aiming for @~ { TulipBlaze } ~ 's chest, so he in turn attempted to leap on top of her, hoping to pin her down with his weight, or in the very least distract her enough to let Citrine get her own blows in.

    ☄ ----~  //because why not? But is weekly tasks are done by deputies and leaders only I am so sorry and ill delete this ;;W;;

    It was getting slow around here.

    Zephyrbee padded into camp, dropping the small shrew he had managed to pounce on on the prey pile before turning his glare upon the clearing. So many - too many - cats sat around, lounging and doing nothing. The 'im still healing' and 'im fatigued from hunger' excuses wouldn't work for him, not after how hard someone like Bearstorm was working with a freakin' broken leg. Things needed to be put into order - cats needed to be motivated. Since Lightningtooth and Jasperstar were busy doing whatever it is higher positions do, though, Zeph decided it was up to him to take charge and start the ball rolling.

    Padding to the center of camp, he clearing his throat and shouted, "GATHER AROUND FOR WEEKLY TASKS!" Turning his glare over the cats around, he added, "I want you running to volunteer or so help me I will shove a moss ball full of bile down your whiny throat in hopes you'll at least kill some ticks as you breath your final breaths!" he roared. He...uh...was a bit in a mood...

    ☄ ----~ Zephyrbee allowed himself a smirk as cats padded forward. Good, the clan had hope yet. That smirk vanished, though, with Cederpaw's comments. "Graphic won't begin to cover it," Zeph said testily, ignoring his question on Zeph's day. To be honest, it wasn't just that everyone wasn't doing anything - it was just difficult for HIM to do anything. His scars and lack of sight on his right eye burned with every step, phantom pains, but painful nonetheless. It made it hard to hunt, train, do chores etc. and to Zeph's increasing horror, he found himself more and more sleepy every day.

    Lets get one thing straight. Zeph doesn't sleep.

    He REFUSED to sleep.

    So this was worse punishment than any physical torture you could think up.

    "Cederpaw, I want you to gather some apprentices and lead a 'chore patrol'," Zephyrbee said, totally obviously not still angry with the kid, "Gather moss, hunt some mice, use their bile and pick some ticks off Rabbitfoot and the other elders. While your at it - clean up the nests too, whatever the elders ask, do it. I want this camp spotless by the end of my day, or...well, you know."

    Turning to Bearstorm, Zeph gave him a blistering glare for his joke, before saying, "Fine, I want you to get Bumblefoot and host a herb lesson for the clan. Be the dummy and let the kits and apprentices practice basic healing on you."

    Finally, he focused on Bluebellpaw. Thinking for a moment, the warrior finally said, "Hot a hunting competition Bluebellpaw. Make it interesting - for example, the one who catches, say, a brown rabbit gets to eat first, while the one who catches the most can skip chores for the rest of the day," he shot Cederpaw a glare, "with the exception of him, of course,"

    ☄ ----~ He looked to his apprentice, studying her closely. As if her question had suddenly brought on a chellenge for him. No, she wasn't going to get off that easy and join in with someone else's task. She would join theirs, yes, like any other apprentice but she would have something of her own to do as well. "Sparring." He finally announced, "I wan't you to host a sparring match for apprentices and older. But I wan't claws sheathed! If I see so much as a hair cut too short on anyone, you'll be doing chores until your an elder! "

    ☄ ----~ "I'm joining as well," Zephyrbee said as he padded over. He had been practicing with just one eye, hunting leaves and imaginary prey, or going out on solo patrols to do so in the actual field. He was getting better at it, more confident, but he wasn't as good of a hunter as he used to be. It infuriated him, but what could he do? He just needed to keep practicing.

    ☄ ----~ Zephyrbee perked his large ears when he heard a call. Meeting Hawkclaw's glare, the warrior arched a brow, "I haven't seen Lightningtooth around lately - I assume he's helping Jasperstar with something. If you want him to take over, be my guest - Im simply trying to get cats to work," he said, unperturbed by her words. He understood where she was coming from, what with Jasper and Lightning literally being of higher rank than him, but to be frank ; Zeph didn't respect Lightning. He had been announced deputy, and yet he had done little for the clan. It infuriated Zeph! So, yes, if Lightning came over this very moment and demanded to take over the weekly tasks, Zephyr would be more than happy - relieved, in fact - to let him do so. At least then he'd be doing something, rather than napping and complaining for Hawkclaw to do everything for him.

    But he was in no mood today to have a petty argument with the tortoiseshell, she Zephyrbee lifted his chin and asked coolly, "So do you want to go get him, or are you going to request a task?"

    //IC opinions imsosorry

    ☄ ----~ Zephyrbee padded over, eyes narrowing as he overheard what was being said. Coming to stand beside Bearstorm, he narrowed his eyes at the riverclanner. A murderer? In Windclan? Quite an accusation...Still, Windclan had been on edge as of late...But Who could have done that? And why? Riverclan were their allies. They saved Windclan's ass so many times...

    Then he noticed the way the tom was staring at his apprentice. Frowning deeply, Zephyrbee moved forward to block the riverclanner's line of sight from the young molly. Owlpaw was too smart to be a killer - how dare this Riverclan tom even consider it!
