    Since Ivylee had confirmed his suggestion on upping the security around here, Titan had gone ahead and planned a formal announcement to the clan. The snow leopard stood at the center of the cave and glanced around before grunting, "RiverClan, listen up!" The sense of authority sent a thrill down his spine. It was his job to defend the clan, wasn't it? Finally, he was feeling productive.


    "If you haven't heard, our former medic, Hope, has threatened to harm each and every one of us. While that sounds ridiculous, she has joined the Exiles, and who knows what they could plan against us?" Titan swept his gaze across the RiverClanners before continuing, "For now, I'd like everyone to buddy up with someone if they're going into the territory alone. I don't care if you're hunting or patrolling or taking a piss, because you're risking your life."


    The riverguard flicked his fluffy tail and added, "Speaking of patrolling, I need volunteers for a protection squad of sorts. We'll be switching off and frequently guarding the borders. Nonetheless, I'll need each and every one of you to be on alert." He narrowed his amber eyes and huffed, "That goes for Ivylee, too. You may have more than one life but it's possible for them to be taken away in one swipe." At least that's what he had heard. If the injury was too great to heal, then the lives could just drop away one-by-one. Titan didn't want to see Ivylee getting killed, not on his watch.

    Titan saw the bloodied body of a snow leopard laying on the territory, and it took just the sight to make him hyperventilate. No.. no, it's Hope.. she got Himiko.. she fucking got Himiko... no, no, no...


    The riverguard raced forward, eyes widened and fur bristling. He halted by the body before realizing that this snow leopard smelled of BloodClan. Wait.. why BloodClan? Titan hadn't even considered it to be a decoy of Ashbringer, considering that he's only seen her twice and didn't really recognize her.


    Still, Hope had done this. Titan took a deep breath, calming down from the initial shock, and he nodded as Wildhunt came around. "I'm going to check the rest of the border just to make sure." He murmured.

    Titan felt his gaze dim at the mention of her mother. She probably missed her mother; Titan would've loved to meet her. She was probably as beautiful as Himiko. As for Titan, he couldn't say the same about his. He had never met her, nor his real father. It bothered him constantly, but right now, it felt as if nothing bothered him.


    The male watched as darkness started to encase the horizon, and the twinkling stars above became even brighter. Then, Himiko had just complimented back, and he lightly chuckled, "Thanks." A gleam was reflecting in Titan's optics as a result of the starry blanket above them, and he felt a shy smile tug at his maw once Himiko leaned on his shoulder. It was as if they were a couple. But why aren't we?


    There was only one way to find out. Titan shifted a little and turned his head so that he was comfortably looking at Himiko. "Wait, I want to look at them again." He smirked, referring to her eyes. There was only a shred of light left bouncing off of the clouds, but he wanted to gaze into those gorgeous eyes once more. He wanted to admire her features, admire her body...


    As his eyes drew towards her lips, his small smirk subconsciously began to fade as he realized what he was going to do... what he wanted to do for the longest time. There were no more words from Titan as he slowly but surely leaned in to gently press his lips against her own.

He had no idea what he had been through, but he could tell by his thoughts that he was getting to him. He stared at Aris, cold and emotionless, and he firmly replied, "If they really wanted you safe, they wouldn't bring you here. They dumped you like you were a heaping sack of garbage, like you were nothing." No matter what anyone else thought, ColouredClan was an anti-clan with anti-clan values. There were raids, tortures, harsh punishments, and killing. Why would a family leave a young pup here all by himself, knowing that he could potentially be brainwashed or killed or taken in a raid?


    Titan narrowed his eyes. Nef. So, they were friends? How cute. "Let's face it, the only reason he let you stay was because he was desperate. If more people joined your little clan, then perhaps he would shove you aside like the weakling you are." He managed a menacing growl and he stepped back, letting the hold on Aris drop. Before he would let him escape, however, Titan would swiftly aim to latch his jaws onto the canine's leg. If he succeeded, he would remain there, his fangs in place, only to cause more pain and anguish for Aris.

They can't save you." He would then gather his strength and swiftly attempt to yank backward and detach his leg from his body.

His heart was pounding as well, but she didn't seem disgusted or confused or anything. "I really like you." She had said, and Titan purred in response, "Well, I really like you too... if it wasn't obvious enough." It was a good thing that she returned the feeling or else he would've gotten friendzoned and he would've looked like an idiot. Titan didn't care at the moment. He didn't consider that his mentors would've approve, nor did he consider his internal turmoil at the moment. All he knew was that he'd protect Himiko at all costs.


    The handsome snow leopard felt a smile tug at his lips and he leaned in to kiss Himiko once more. They were addicting, really. He wouldn't stop if he had the choice, but right now he wanted to enjoy their moment.

    Titan snorted and lifted his head, his maw covered in blood. Shit, he'd have to wash off his fur really good to get rid of the evidence. But for now, Titan would darkly say, "Have fun fixing that, doctor." And with that, he would whisk away before anyone could catch him in the act. It was too risky to stick around after all the noise Aris had made.

"Alright, I want animals without powers to partner up with powerless animals. I take it you can organize your buddies amongst yourselves." He flicked his ear before clearing his throat and turning to the first mate. "Ramses, you could take out the first patrol with Rivulet. I'll go with you if nobody else volunteers."


    He turned to Elixir. Boy, this was an awkward position to be in; same for Caesar as well. He didn't want to dwell on the thought, so he answered, "You're our clanmate, so yes, I'd like for you to have a buddy as well." Titan was ensuring protection for everyone, so why would Elixir be any different?

While he favored the enthusiasm, he didn't appreciate this guy calling his clan "bitches". "Alright, then. Can we get your name?" The riverguard questioned, quirking a brow.

He said and gave a glance to Honeysuckle before returning his gaze to the newcomer.
