TAKING MY SOUL INTO THE MASSES

It was needless to say that Asterstorm felt uneasy in his current position - sat down in the middle of the camp, actually asking other people to come to him. It wasn't a weekly task, it was a thing he'd decided to do off his own back. Well, with some inspiration from other games. He'd discovered truth or dare - a game where you form a circle, and a cat is randomly chosen and has to pick a truth or dare. Quite frankly, it really wasn't up Asterstorm's street, but he'd decided that he was in a good mood.

    "Truth or dare!"

Asterstorm padded over, sitting down in the shade of one of the dens, looking around for the others. He wondered what this was, as it probably wasn't a meeting.

TAKING MY SOUL INTO THE MASSES

Asterstorm had zoned out for a solid five minutes, but then suddenly became aware of people staring at him, and wracked his brains to what the hell his subconscious had just picked up from the conversation. It dawned on him - Cloudpaw was his apprentice.

A small pang of - pride? fear? - came over him and his tail jerked slightly, but he puffed up his chest and looked over to Cloudpaw, dipping his head.

People were arriving, and it looked like Asterstorm would have to explain the game.

"Basically, we will go around in a circle and each cat will have to decide whether they would like to tell a truth, or be given a dare. The person to their right will come up with the dare or the question, and the cat will have to answer or complete the task."

He sighed at the end, smiling towards his apprentice as she arrived.

//basically, we will do it in post order: aspenfang will be the first to chose and ver will decide the dare/question for her, then ver will be decided by jasper etc

Asterstorm furrowed his brow, staring towards the kit with an incredulous look on his face.

"It's a soft bodied creature. Any amount of weight would kill it."

Aster was almost mean and nearly laughed, but managed to stop himself.

Instead, he cleared his throat and smirked. "Hmm, sure."

Asterstorm shot a glare towards Ver as she approached, poking her with his tail.

"I remember a time when you could barely walk, sister."

"Hello, Cloudpaw," Asterstorm murmured, approaching the female from behind. Cloudpaw was his apprentice, and he was trying his best to look after her and teach her... but it was hella hard.

Asterstorm smiled briefly before shrugging. It wasn't that he didn't care, but it was more that Cloudpaw was an exceptionally good student and could probably have a few lessons of strengthening her own skills and doing what she wanted. "You decide. If we hunt, we'll be strengthening your pounce; with fighting, we'll work more on defense."

Aster heard his name being called out, and squinted slightly, looking up to meet Dawnstar's gaze. He gave her a silent nod, before turning to Cloudpaw and shooting her a small smile.

Asterstorm rolled his eyes at the other two, sitting down and beginning to groom himself. There was enough prey in the forest already, they didn't need to dig holes to find some. However, he didn't voice his ideas and kept them in his own mind.
